Tom made several phone calls to Meijer to get my prescription turned over and then let me know when it was ready... All within a couple of hours. I also had to call him a couple more times with various questions, and he was patient and friendly on the phone every time! I am looking forward to continued excellent hometown customer service. Oh, and they also have a great variety of specialty medical items that I haven't seen at other pharmacies. I wish I had known about them when I broke my leg!!

Bummer but I get it, especially with this staffing market. Regardless, I have had problem after problem with their pharmacy in terms of getting my insurance to work. I've called my insurance 5 times, and talked with the pharmacist just as many times and no one can help me and they refused to call my insurance and get it straightened out. Also the tone and way most of the employees treated me during the process was hurried, cold, and treated me like a number instead of a human. There was one lady who was super nice and helpful, so +1 star for her. Also, it's probably out of their control (so +1 star here given the labor shortage) but they are way too understaffed for how busy they are. So overall would suggest skipping this location unless you're just buying something in the regular store quick.

Thankfully, the pharmacy is open until midnight M-F, and 9pm on weekends. The front store is still open 24/7. Still better than any other pharmacy in the area. The employees I've run into have usually been nice and knowledgeable. They've worked with my insurance and I've had less problems here than at Walgreens. Items like Kleenex and other household products are a little more expensive here so it's more about convenience than being the lowest cost. FYi, you can get here by going north on Alpine or east on state. Kind of a weird intersection/setup but once you do it once you'll get the hang of it.

They rent movies, too, and there's always a sale table up front. Selection's pretty good, though it's not Target. They do flu shots, though the one time I was looking for one they were out. This is a fourth generation family-owned local independent drug store.
