Also, sometimes I have a hard time getting my son's medication filled for ADHD. They always let me know if there is a delay and if I call to find out a when I will be able to get it they will let me know if they are unsure and recommend other pharmacies to call.

Then I had to wait and wait for the pharmacist to answer (more honks). Then I called the store manager to tell her how long I was in the drive-through (I was the only car - I wasn't waiting in line). I finally left. I wanted to inquire about a savings card for a prescription and no one knew anything in the pharmacy about it. I love Walgreens and this is the SECOND one to close in Rockford. Tom made several phone calls to Meijer to get my prescription turned over and then let me know when it was ready... All within a couple of hours. I also had to call him a couple more times with various questions, and he was patient and friendly on the phone every time! I am looking forward to continued excellent hometown customer service. Bummer but I get it, especially with this staffing market. Regardless, I have had problem after problem with their pharmacy in terms of getting my insurance to work. I've called my insurance 5 times, and talked with the pharmacist just as many times and no one can help me and they refused to call my insurance and get it straightened out. Also the tone and way most of the employees treated me during the process was hurried, cold, and treated me like a number instead of a human. There was one lady who was super nice and helpful, so +1 star for her. Also, it's probably out of their control (so +1 star here given the labor shortage) but they are way too understaffed for how busy they are. So overall would suggest skipping this location unless you're just buying something in the regular store quick.
