I also had to call him a couple more times with various questions, and he was patient and friendly on the phone every time! I am looking forward to continued excellent hometown customer service. Bummer but I get it, especially with this staffing market. Regardless, I have had problem after problem with their pharmacy in terms of getting my insurance to work. I've called my insurance 5 times, and talked with the pharmacist just as many times and no one can help me and they refused to call my insurance and get it straightened out. Also the tone and way most of the employees treated me during the process was hurried, cold, and treated me like a number instead of a human. There was one lady who was super nice and helpful, so +1 star for her. Also, it's probably out of their control (so +1 star here given the labor shortage) but they are way too understaffed for how busy they are. So overall would suggest skipping this location unless you're just buying something in the regular store quick.

They rent movies, too, and there's always a sale table up front. Selection's pretty good, though it's not Target. They do flu shots, though the one time I was looking for one they were out. The Entire staff at the Rockford, IL Meijer pharmacy was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. Sarah ran my card found that it would be paid by Caremark, Dave the pharmacists answered my other questions, EVERYONE at the pharmacy was outstanding and I was overwhelmed by their customer service and willingness to go over and above. I intend to put this same review on every site I can. It is important to know the nightmare I've been dealing with prior to Dave and his staff helping me. I have been trying to get a COVID-19 shot for over a week at other places throughout Rockford. My medical insurance said it would have to be done by a medical provider at a clinical location, not a pharmacy. My drug card is with CVS/Caremark. I tried numerous locations of CVS and was denied. I then tried every other urgent care, and pharmacy in the Rockford area, including the Loves Park, IL Meijer and was turned down. The Loves Park pharmacy wouldn't even try to run my card, (even though I've gotten other COVID shots there) and just said they couldn't help me. I had resolved that I was not getting the shot. Walgreens pharmacies have been impossible to work with - won't let patients refill prescriptions until the very last minute and then never have inventory. Don't work well with Medicare either. So I've moved my prescriptions elsewhere.
