My wife got shot at the Walgreens... covid shot that is! It was really simple to get on line and go to their sight... then look up apt times and schedules... set it up and kaboom! She was in! My wife is a severe asthmatic and we have done nothing, gone nowhere, and haven't been around anybody fir over a year!! Just the idea of getting the shot was liberating for her. This Walgreens had it going on... a line up and knock it down type performance... we were in and out in 15 mins. The people were nice and efficient. This used to be my go to pharmacy until about 2 years ago. There have been frequent problems filling prescriptions. They routinely take multiple days to fill a prescription. They are out of meds a lot and they don't call a nearby Walgreens to see if they have what you need. They tell you to call. This most recent prescription took at least three days after it was called in before they started on it, then another day or so before we picked up a partial prescription. It has now been four more days and the rest of the script is still not ready and I'll be out tomorrow. This is their norm. We need to switch pharmacies.​ read more

5-6 years ago this pharmacy was amazing. It's just gone downhill since then. The make technician is so rude. I can't believe they have technicians (not pharmacists) giving immunizations now. It's unacceptable. There people often have no education except to pass a technician test (very basic) and take a 2 hour class on how to give a shot? Unacceptable. The drive through is SO slow. Generally love this chain but we have bought four things from here that turned out to be damaged or expired. They must not inspect their shelves or something. New management at Walgreens on Red Bud Trail & Gattis School Road don't care about their customers. They have implemented new rules at this location which do not coincide with my Drs orders. Stephanie Roach & Monique Wood have decided customers cannot pick up medication refills when the Dr prescribes it. Instead of doing what other Walgreens locations do, they have arbitrarily decided customers cannot have medicine until 28 days from the last time it was physically picked up rather than 28 days from the last time it was filled....even if the Dr told them to fill it!! This is wrong! They should take into consideration that we were all recovering from the severe snowstorm that caused all kinds of delays. I called two other locations & they go by the last date it was filled & the Drs orders. I'm finding another pharmacy where customer care is priority. I suggest you do the same. read more

I saw some of the bad reviews and must say, my experience was far from any of those - This pharmacy ROCKS - we drove here from CVS because they would not fill my daughters prescription immediately. Wal-greens stepped up to the plate and knew we were in an emergency situation and could tell we needed help. My daughter was in tears after surgery and they filled her prescription right then and there and wished her a speedy recovery. My husband already used this pharmacy but I have been a procrastinator on switching all our family over but after today, our whole family will be using this Wal-greens. Thank you for stepping up to the plate and taking care of your customers! WORST PHARMACY SERVICE of any Walgreens location I've ever dealt with. Hours are very limited, drive through is extremely slow, staff often seems to have a lack of knowledge about medications and their own internal processes. I've had my auto refills missed. I've been told 3 times that I had refills left when I didn't causing me to scramble for a last minute doctor appt, miss work, and go days without my medications. On other instances they didn't order my meds causing them to be out of stock when I'm due for automatic refill. How is this type of service possible? How can a business with such a huge impact on peoples health be so disorganized and provide such terrible service? I've used Walgreens as long as I can remember and never had this issue. I would strongly urge anyone with reasonable options to use a different location to do so! read more

An item I needed had a 'buy 1, get 1 50%' sale. There were only two on the shelf, and one of them was broken. The regular price was $10, so 1/2 on a second one was a good deal. I took both to the counter and asked if they had any more stock in the back. The guy at the counter was very courteous and helpful. He called for a manager. When she came, he asked about stock. She said, no [without looking to see] and in fact, said there should be 3 on the shelf. When he told her these were the last two and one was broken - he asked if they could give an additional discount for the broken one [might work part of the time, since the sprayer part kept falling off]. She said, "NO, IT'S ALREADY 50% OFF!! Besides, when something is broken we send it back and get ALL our money back." Then she walked off. The guy apologized to me, as he was embarrassed at the insensitivity of the manager. Tell me, who would want to buy an item that was broken as their 2nd purchase for 50% off, when they could buy something brand new for 50% off as their 2nd purchase?? It was quite obvious that the manager felt is was more important to get the store their money back, than to make a customer happy. GEEZ. read more

We pulled up to Walgreens before closing and were waiting behind a car. They helped the car and then told us they were closed. We pointed out we had been waiting and they said they were closed. We told them we would move our business to HEB. They said ok and to have a great day. The people there are rude and unorganized! I called ahead to get eyedrops field. The lady who answered said they would start feeling it, and would be ready about fifteen minutes. She told me about a possible coupon to which I told her my doctor gave me one already. I arrived twenty minutes later , and the man who talked to me said my order was not ready and needs to be filled due to insurance insurance and they would have done in another 10 minutes. I told him I had this coupon and he said thats fine, pull around again or get back in line because customers waiting behind me. I said that's fine little frustrated but no big deal. As soon as I pulled away from window, I get a phone call telling me my order was ready! Really? I pulled around, and a silver car sat there for at least twelve and half minutes waiting on there order to get finished. I timed it. Tell me how that's fair treatment honestly? Once I get back to window, they have my order ready. I gave the young lady my coupon to which she replied I had to activate it to use. I said ok I can do that give me a sec. she rudely said sir you can't sit here and do that you have to pull around. I politely told her what just happened, and that they had already told me to pull around on top of the other customer sitting there and she didn't bat an eye or even seem to care. Very poor customer service in my book. I told her it would take a minute maybe two, and she didn't care. This is by far the WORST pharmacy I have ever had the DISpleasure of working with. They never have your RX ready when is is supposed to be. They lose RXs, like the one time when they only had half of my Rx's ready, I had to wait over holiday weekend because of their mess up. Then proceeded to get a phone call the day after Christmas from the pharmacists arguing with me telling me that I only had the one they filled for me. Now I have worked in the medical field for over a decade now and have never heard of a pharmacist being so rude. Especially when I stood right next to the nurse and watched her send both meds electronically. And don't even try to call them because you will be put on hold multiple times for at least 10mins each before you get hung up on. That was a final straw with me. I called corporate and made a formal complaint. Last I knew corporate was looking into why this pharmacy was getting "so many complaints". Take your Rxs ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! read more

Horrible experience at Walgreens pharmacy this evening. I got to the drive-thru at 5:55 PM to get a prescription, knowing that the pharmacy closes at 6:00, but it was already closed! I quickly parked and went inside hoping to find the pharmacy counter still open, which it was. I saw 4 pharmacy staff, including 2 managers, Shawn and Chrystal, and 3 customers in line or being served. After a couple of minutes a pharmacy tech, a girl with pretty long dark hair, start working on my check out. She asked for name and day of birth, picked up the package from the bin, asked to confirm my address, and started the payment process. At this point she realized that her cash register was already closed, so she told me to wait for the only open cash register next to her. That was where Shawn was working. After a few minutes, Shawn picked up my package, and started the payment transaction again. He asked to enter the 4 last digits of my phone on the pin pad, which I did. Then he asked to repeat my address. I explained that I had already gone through the verification process once, and I had just confirmed my phone number, so I really did not think it was necessary to make me repeat it one more time. Chrystal, who had just being standing there the whole time, literally screamed at me: "IF YOU DON'T REPEAT YOUR ADDRESS WE ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU YOUR MEDICATION AND THAT'S IT". Shawn started to take the package away from the counter so I repeated the address. This was so not like Walgreen's and I was treated with such disrespect that started listing all the things that were going on wrong, such as closing the drive-thru before 6 PM. Chrystal said "YOU SHOULD NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO COME GET YOUR MEDS. EVEN THOUGH YOU GOT HERE BEFORE 6, IT'S NOW 6:10. I was embarrassed about how she treated me, as others could hear her talking down to me like that, it was so, so disrespectful. Shawn, the other manager, did not even look me in the eye, and kept his head down like he did not want to be part of this. I tried once more to tell Chrystal that her pharmacy clock must be wrong (it was just 6:07 on my cell, minutes after she told me was already 6:10) but she just walked away, telling me "YOU ARE SO INAPPROPRIATE, GET OUT OF MY FACE..." I did lose my patience and told her that she was in the wrong line of work. Customer service requires empathy, respect, and patience. I should have repeated my address for the second time when asked, even though I thought was unnecessary but I was already frustrated. I understand the need for verification, and following procedures, but sometimes it just creates a burden where it is not needed. Chrystal and Shawn did not do ANYTHING constructive to resolve the situation or to address my complaints. Their message to me was: "if you want your medication, do what I say". I have never had good customer service at this Walgreens Pharmacy. Sadly, I would dare to compare the level of customer service here to the Walmart Pharmacy. Nothing is never done when promised, I ALWAYS have to press the call button to get someone to even come to the drive through and at my visit today, they had the audacity to ask me to pull back around because someone pulled up behind me even though there was a fully functioning second lane. The only reason I have been going to this particular Walgreens is because my doctor has sent my prescriptions here by accident instead of the one at Palm Valley and Red Bud. I will be calling my doctor's office immediately to remedy that problem so I never have to deal with these unpersonable, rude, lazy pharmacy techs that don't give a crap about their patients. I will say the actual pharmacist seems pretty nice, but the other staff needs a reality check or they need to be replaced.
