One asked if I needed anything and I told them I just killing time. I had a great chat with my cashier because I ended up spending $100 on a time killing trip. I only gave them 4 stars because the re was customers in the front not wearing mask. That didn't bother me but the fact the sign says mandatory I would like for establishments to abide by that. The customers removed themselves after my harsh glare at them. They came back in with mask on. A pretty convenient Walgreens on 79.

Unfortunately, I have encountered the same employee on more than one occasion when needing assistance at the counter, and each interaction has been marked by an unnecessarily sour and unwelcoming disposition. Today, I came in to pick up a photo order. When asked for my last name, I clearly said "Armstrong Sharp." I was asked for it again, and after repeating myself, I was immediately told there was nothing under that name. There seemed to be no effort to consider that the order might simply be filed under Sharp. I finally asked, "Did you check Sharp?" Only then did he check--and there was my order. What bothered me most wasn't the mix-up. Those things happen. It was the attitude throughout the entire interaction. There was no acknowledgment, no "let me check," no courtesy, and certainly no attempt to make the experience pleasant. His entire demeanor communicated that assisting me was an inconvenience. Customer service does not require an elaborate performance. A greeting, a little patience, basic courtesy, and a willingness to help go a long way. When one employee repeatedly makes a regular customer feel unwelcome, it reflects poorly on the entire store. I like the convenience of this CVS and would prefer to continue using it, but interactions like this genuinely make me reconsider doing business at this location. Management should address the customer-service culture at the counter.

Many employees argue with me and tell me I paid $$ previously, so that is the price (even when it's a different dose/amount). Gaslighting customers is not a good look. Sometimes I get nice employees who are happy to help, wish there were more. Makes me furious to think about how many people don't know they price gouge, or that they can get a better price.

However, this is the worst H-E-B I have shopped at, and by far, my least favorite location. Maybe it's just the location, and the lack of space, but every time I go to this store, it feels like the day before Thanksgiving. There's hardly ever a time when the parking lot is not jampacked. As far as the store itself, it is just way too small and with narrow aisles, which is generally not the norm at most H-E-B's. Even though this location is the one closest to where I live, I have decided that I will never ever shop at this location again, no matter what. It is just way too compact and way too crowded. Every time I try to push my cart forward, someone crosses in front of me and I have to stop ... and then the person behind me tries to run me over with their cart. I end up having a miserable experience every single time.... ...and don't even get me started on the cashier/checkout situation. If you have more than 10 items, you're forced to go to a checkout lane with a cashier. Very often, there's only one or two cashiers available, which means waiting in line for an extended period of time. Thus, I have decided that I will shop at the locations in Cedar Park or on University Boulevard (RR) from now on. Even though it will be somewhat of an inconvenience to drive to those locations, I know that the superior shopping experience will make it worth it. I really want to give this location just one star, but I can't - I mean, it's still HEB.
