I am giving this Walgreen's a 4 star off customer service alone... there's always someone that helps me in this store. They are always kind, and take time to assist me with no rush. I choose not to coupon here much, bc there tends to be lots of out of stocks (hooray for yall) but the customer service is still great read more

I have been coming to this Walgreens for 18 years. They are so nice and friendly and very knowledgeable of all the products. The cashier Elizabeth has been there forever and she is so nice and friendly. I wish all the cashiers at all the Walgreens were as nice as Elizabeth, she makes everybody's day. has to be one of the worst experiences in the pharmacy. Doctor called in prescription a day early before my wife got the hospital. Got there they said they only had one available the pharmacist there said that it would take about 20 minutes to get the others so I waited 20 minutes. When I went back to see if the prescriptions were told me only one was still available, and the others would be available the next day. So when I asked why after they just told me, it would only take about 20 minutes. All they could tell me was that it would be available the next. Looks like this Walgreen will be losing our business so sad. read more

I had a quick stop to get acetaminophen, good value $6 for 50 of them ( 500 mg) I also noticed they have a lot of the basic products we need nowadays and also allergy pills, basically they were stocked, which is awesome! read more

I was the Senior Pharmacy tech for many years at a test store. I handled on new procedures and provided feedback to the district manager and pharmacy manager before implementation rolled out. The Walgreens on Palm Valley is terrible. They do not represent the standard level of service expected from Walgreens. The entire staff and pharmacists are unpleasant and unhelpful. They lack urgency and genuine care, and fail to develop any rapport with regular customers. It's a very unwelcoming and cold atmosphere. Often times my prescription price changed because they didn't run the insurance and discount card correctly. Prescriptions were never ready and quoted ready times hours later only to be called 5 minutes after leaving the store to say "you're prescription is ready", creating inconvenience. I got fed up with this entire pharmacy and transferred to a new location. I don't mind driving farther just to get better service. read more

Quick one stop shop for personal care items and body care needs. The convenience of the hours and availability make it always a great choice when you need to run in and run out! The lines though can sometimes be long and take forever to process folks through checkout, but there's nothing a little patience can not fix! read more

The posted pharmacy hours for Sunday are stated as being 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The pharmacy hours are not correct. My husband went there on Sunday to pick up a prescription prior to 2:00 PM. The pharmacy had the metal security bars down and a large sign stating it was closed. read more

Jason from the Pharmacy is AWESOME! I had an issue with my dr refilling a rx that I really needed and he went above and beyond what his job responsibilities are to make sure that my issue was taken care of. I needed a different brand name for a rx that I was desperate for, so that my insurance would cover it. My dr mistakingly denied the request so I tried calling my dr to sort things out, but my phone wasn't allowing the call to go through. I called to place the order and just pay out of pocket for the medicine I needed and Jason answered. After hearing what was going on, he immediately took matters into his own hands. He got on the phone with my doctor, and sorted out my issue for me! I am so impressed! read more

I have to rave about Unique!!! I love this cashier! This Walgreens is conveniently located to my place of residence so if I ever need to make a quick stop for something I do not hesitate to stop here. Love this Walgreens. One of the cashiers, Unique, is a real standout. Helpful, personable, really makes you feel welcome & remembers you. Walgreens - especially this one - is a go-to place for a couple items without having to brave the parking lot and crowds at the semi-nearby HEB+. Efficient checkout. Good pharmacy & pharmacists. I actually like going here. Like every other Walgreens, really crappy selection of magazines and books (which is a disappointment, as those are products I like to go to this kind of a store to pick up.) My 5 year old daughter had the flu and her doctor called in her prescription (Tamiflu) which I never picked up because she was feeling better. A week later my daughter had an ear infection (apparently common after having the flu) and a different doctor faxed the prescription (amoxicillin-antibiotics) to Walgreens. In addition, the doctor gave a hard copy of the prescription to my husband. My husband gave the pharmacist (Mar-just know the first name) the hard copy prescription for Amocillan and his insurance card. My husband arrives at the house with Tamiflu only (last week's prescription for her flu) which was not on the prescription paper he provided to the pharmacist. They gave him the wrong medicine. I understand that in the computer it still indicated Tamiflu because it was never picked up BUT my husband had a hard copy prescription to pick up Amoxicillin which he gave Mar (pharmacist.) Walgreen's pharmacy was closed already when I realized this mistake. My daughter was crying all night because of the pain and I didn't have the antibiotics that I should have had if Mar would have looked at the hard copy prescription. I went to the pharmacy as soon as they open and guess who was there...Mar the pharmacist, which makes me wonder if she works the 12 hrs. that the pharmacy is open which could explain her mistake due to exhaustion. To make matters worse, she never apologized, was rude about the situation, and kept questioning me if "I actually saw the doctor give my husband a prescription" because she denies that my husband gave her a prescription. If you decide to go to this pharmacy, just make sure you check that you are leaving with the correct medication. I almost forgot... The pharmacy manager (she needed him to auth. refund) was there and heard everything and never approached, apologized, and/or helped the situation. read more

During these difficult times we all need to come together and be more understanding because we are all in this together. That is something that I did not witness at the Walgreens at 4550 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, TX. 78665 (512)255-9230. I went in to do some shopping for my elderly father and was going to spend a substantial amount of money there for him. I picked up an item and proceeded to the front and noticed the "Adult Beverage" aisle and wanted to get some wine for my dad. The Walgreens associate Chelsea was doing her job in the aisle and when I excused myself to go down the aisle to see the product there she did not hear me so I go down the aisle. Chelsea then turns to me and screams "SIX FEET! SIX F-ING FEET!" and then stomps off to the back probably to hide from embarrassment from yelling at me, a paying customer. I then proceed to the front cashier and express my concern about associate Chelsea and request to speak with a manager Jessica who listened to my concern about the associate. Like I said in the beginning, we are all in this together and need to be understanding as we just don't know what people are going through. Long story short, if you want to be treated like crap, when you go in to a Walgreens shopping for your elderly parent then do definitely go there. read more

Friday night at the end of the workweek and I really don't want to be in a store looking for toilet paper for my health code however this is the circumstances of what is going on right now. So I walk into this store and see that the products I'm looking for I just made perfectly in front of the store and I did not have to walk far that was extremely helpful and nice that the exact products that were on sale that I was going for where in the front of the store. However I am going to write this review how the manager and speak to whomever I need to to get this point across as the customer service was the worst I have ever seen! The person at the front cashier did not understand how to do the discount Fershaw I had to ask him to go back so I can put in my customer rewards number as he skipped that portion I patiently waited for him to go back put in my number and still there was one more discount that was supposed to be given and he did not know how to do this. So I waited and still I paid without the extra discount as I was leaving the store I decided I should ask so I can understand how these work, he cannot help me it was going to give me money from the cash drawer just so I can leave I didn't want to do that I want to understand the process so another lady helps mean she doesn't understand the process either. So a gentleman comes up from behind them how I did not know he was the manager was very rude to his employee did not want to help me as the customer, was so rude and actually giving me the discount throwing things and pushing things around that my keys fell to the floor he did not stop to it knowledge it nor apologize. Gave me the money did not look at me and walked away and was extremely rude during the whole process I do not understand how management is supposed to be this way towards somebody. read more

Horrible customer service! This is the fourth time I have come to the front cashier and been told I have check out at the beauty counter! I refused and she came to help me at the front counter. I asked why they never have anyone at the front counter and was told that is their policy and they are told to do this. At that time I asked for the manager and Brent comes over. I told him I felt this was bad customer service at which point he have me an attitude. And said "it's not that far only a few steps" I then asked for the corporate office number and he says "it's on your receipt." I told him I'd like him to write it down along with the district managers name. He did but not without first telling me there was no point in calling because it would just come back to him as he is the manager. So I call the corporate number and am told that he is not the GM. Big surprise! I make my complaint and call the store to let them know that I will be calling The GM on Monday and that I do not appreciate the way I was treated. I will not shop here again. I am the customer and should be treated with respect. There is no excuse for bad customer service! Customers are choosing to spend their hard earned money at your store and can go elsewhere! In all my 5 years of getting my sons ADHD prescription refilled I WILL NEVER go to this Walgreen again the customer services at the Pharmacy is HORRIBLE! My sons prescription was stolen and I had a police report and the doctor wrote a new prescription, but the Pharmacy would not release it to me till the doctor wrote on the prescription okay to refill. Hmmmm! How was I to know this I never had this happen before but the black guy just walks away and then 10 minute later a white lady in a white coat gets on the phone and says is anyone helping you, really after I sit in line for 30 minute to pick up the prescription which I was texted that it was ready and it was approved to be told that I would have to wait till the doctors office opened in the morning or give them the police report which I left at home. She would not listen to me she completely walked away and hung the phone up!! This was my one chance to go back to them after 2 years of bad customer service because I had the reward card but guess what am going back to HEB even if I have to drive far the customer services is the Best!! read more

I had a horrific experience with the Pharmacy department. My doctor faxed over my cough medicine so I never physically got to see the prescription. When I went to walgreens to pick up my medication they said they did not have the quantity in which the doctor prescribed me. I asked if any other walgreens may have it, the lady claimed to have contacted all other local walgreens, cvs, and walmarts, she said every place is in back order right now. They had quantity of 19 and claimed my doctor prescribed 30, turns out she was completely lying about everything. The quantity was actually 60, so she was trying to convince me to take 19? I found that to be shady. Also, my doctors office found a local cvs that had it so she also lied about that. So when I went to pick up my prescription at cvs, turns out she charged my insurance for those 19 pills so my insurance was refusing to pay for my medication. That day was a nightmare! I don't recommend this pharmacy to anyone! They seem to not care for their customers only revenue. read more
