As a consumer skeptic, I thought it was just a scam to make me feel like the price was worth it. But, then I saw the finished product and was wowed. The Brow Bar has had some turnover in the years that I've been going and each time my regular girl left, I'd think to myself - "Now is the time to break free from the more costly brow wax and go somewhere new." And, I did - more than once. And, every time I left those places not happy with the product. When that product is on your face 24/7 - you want to be satisfied. So, back I went to Ulta. Christie and Betty do an excellent job and they are both really nice girls. Eyebrow waxing is $20 before tipping. Believe me girls, it is worth it. Yes you can go to a nail salon and get your brows waxed for like $10, but you'll get home and finish plucking them yourself (been there, done that). At the Benefit Brow Bar I've never had to go home and finish the job. They are perfect! Once I get them waxed here I'll pluck them myself for a couple months, following the shape. Once they start getting a little wonky though, I'll let them grow in a bit before coming back to get them perfected again. While they are doing your brows, they'll teach you how to use their products so you can make them look just as good at home. They will also put some concealer on you so your face isn't all red and puffy when you leave the store. Benefit make-up is my favorite brand. I wear the lightest shade of brow zings and have been using the same one for about a year. Yes, Benefit brand make up is more expensive than say Ulta's brand or Revlon, L'Oreal etc. but it lasts a really long time and it's higher quality.

THEY DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO MY ALLERGY…read more I had an appointment with Madison for nano brows, and she did not pay attention to my allergies, despite me communicating my allergies multiple times throughout the process. I communicated my allergies upon booking, And she Claimed to have checked all of the products to make sure there were no conflicts. Once I Drove two hours To get there, I filled out some paperwork and confirmed my allergies again. As we were getting started, she says " Let's go over the process so there are no surprises, we're going to take some pictures first, then I will draw on the eyebrows and make sure you like it." I close my eyes, then she immediately put a baby wipe on my face. That's not taking a picture. I asked her what she was doing, she said it was a baby white. I asked her if she checked the baby wipe to make sure I wasn't allergic to it, and I expected her to say that she checked it. Unfortunately, she did not, and I was allergic to it. I washed it off right away, she said we can't do it unless she can use those baby wipes, I asked if she had green soap or something that tattoo artists normally use, she ended up finding some other soap deep in a cabinet, but said she wasn't comfortable going through with the appointment after she exposed me to an allergen in case of a reaction. I can understand that. She refunded my deposit BUT: - I took the day off from work for this - I hired a dog sitter - I drove nearly 200 miles round-trip - 2 hours each direction + being there is about 5 hours of my time wasted - for the past month, I have not done my usual skincare routine in order to prepare for this appointment, and my skin has suffered for it I can't believe that a licensed professional didn't check all of the ingredients once I stated that I had an allergy. I have confirmed with them multiple times that there wouldn't be any conflicts! I scheduled this appointment months ago. I do not recommend this place. They're clearly not detail oriented or safe for anyone with an allergy.

I asked to speak to the pharmacist ( a middle aged woman) to ask for advise on what to buy to help me with my sore throat. After a short wait, instead of taking me to a private part of the counter like our pharmacist does here in Laval, she nodded her head at me as to say ( what do you want). From behind where she was. I said " here?" She clicked her tongue in disgust and moved to another spot. I was feeling quite poorly so I didn't sass her at all. She answered me short tempered that I had a cold and a sore throat that there was no magic pill. I just had to wait it out. She did not advise me on anything to help the coughing or sore throat. The day of my appointment they called and cancelled my 9:00 am and moved to 1:00 pm. I went to the later appointment and was satisfied with treatment. Made an appointment for my next cleaning and sure enough, they called at 8:15 and canceled my 9:00 am appointment and wanted to reschedule. I refused a new appointment, I will now search for a new dentist that I can trust to be there for my appointments. I find this to be poor business practices and does not rate further appointments.
