I completely understand that Walgreens partners with organizations that help feed kids in need, and I think that's a wonderful mission. But good intentions don't automatically make something fair or appropriate. At this location, there are always people stationed directly in front of the doors -- not off to the side, but literally standing where customers have to walk in and out. You can't enter or exit without squeezing past them or feeling like you're being cornered to stop and talk. It creates social pressure, and it's uncomfortable. Not because I don't care about the cause, but because I don't like feeling obligated or guilty just to shop. I spoke with who appeared to be the manager about it and was told, "That's fine, but we do it because it's for a good cause." To me, that was dismissive. Customer comfort shouldn't come second to corporate charity optics. What makes it even more frustrating is that many of us already give what we can to these causes. Times are tough -- groceries and essentials are expensive -- and being physically stopped at the door adds guilt to people who are often already doing their best. Supporting a cause is wonderful. But it should never come at the expense of customer experience, comfort, or access to the store. A fair solution would be letting customers donate inside at checkout or digitally, without having to physically push past someone to enter. I hope Walgreens reconsiders this practice. This store is highly understaffed with under qualified employees. The pharmacy technicians are incompetent. It should not take 25 minutes if there is only one person in front of me at pick up to pick up my medication. In these situations, you need to be a delegator if you are going to run a business. The pharmacist that is there is the pharmacist in charge. She verifies prescriptions answers the phone and does many things, but if there is a huge line at pick up and at that point there was about 10 people behind me. Someone should have been delegated to come from the production line to assist at pick up or the pharmacist. This pharmacy is the absolute worst of all the Walgreens pharmacies. Walgreens in general is understaffed, and everyone is stressed out. I get it, retails pharmacies are notorious for their work environment, understaffing and difficult patients. This pharmacy though, they have repeatedly deleted prescriptions (three times) without explanation. The pharmacist himself told me that he had to do it if a prescription was out of stock. The third time he told me it shouldn't happen but the doctor will have to resend the prescription. I am changing pharmacies, it seems like something isn't right here. read more

Zero stars. My husband waited in the drive through for 30 minutes with our sick 5 month old to pick up a prescription her pediatrician sent in. There was no one on line behind him. That prescription ended up being an over-the-counter medication. Instead of grabbing it and charging him there, the young man at the window made my husband bring my sick baby into the store to get himself. AVOID THIS WALGREENS AT ALL COSTS. We took COVID tests here two days before travel like we were supposed to do. The website said the results would come back in48 hours. The website LIED. The pharmacist told us on the way to the port that the test results could take five days and he could do nothing to help us. At best we are going to be out several hundred dollars. Used to visit this Walgreens, at least, twice a week when I used to work across the street. Just walked in today and I received the same service that I used to receive... Fast, detailed and amicable; just how I like it! *That's what HE said!* Lol! You can tell most of my friends are men... ANYWAY... Looked after, organized and with the convenient items every Walgreens has... You can't go wrong with this Walgreens *unless you go after operating hours; then you are screwed * Not a 24/7 store, but pretty big and with all the services you will find at any Walgreens. Every month it's something...didn't order the medication, wrong copay....which results in multiple trips and arguing because they have no customer service skills in their pharmacy. I don't get my period anymore monthly but I do get my PWS. Pre-Walgreens syndrome and sure enough after the bullshit EVERY TIME I walk away with the same medication at the same cost as last month. Walgreens, they're always easily located, they've got a great selection and nice folks working for them. We stopped here on the way home from Melbourne so that we could grab a few drinks and just get out of the car a little bit and stretch our legs. The restrooms were neat and clean, and I found everything I was looking for out on the floor. They even opened another register when there were too many folks in line. I waited in a line of 3 people one got a covid shot, one got Covid tested, and one had a mask constantly coughing, touching the counter, credit card machine and surrounding areas! Not one person sanitized any of these areas! Not to mention when calling for a refill with the automatic system and going to pick it up it wasn't ready, so I came back an hour later and because I was self pay it kept disappearing apparently and I waited a total of 3 hours with three different trips to Walgreens! Good location. On the main corner of US 192 and Hickory Tree Road. Never a problem coming here. This location is set up just like most. You walk in and cosmetics are on your left and photoshop on the far wall on your right. Pharmacy to the back of the store. Gift cards at the beginning of the aisle. Store was clean and organized, Bathrooms were clean. Prices were compatible to most stores in this area. Parking lot was large and clean. Staff greeted me when I entered. Worst customer service ever. I have been a loyal customer to Walgreens for years especially since my insurance is Tricare and they are contracted with them. However, my initial interaction with the unskilled staff proves to me I will now take my business to Publix where I can receive actually service and not attitude, inconsistent communication, and patient blaming. After 30 minutes in the drive through pick up of being asked every random question including things that have nothing to do with my insurance and being judged as if I don't know my own information. I was forced to come inside the store to be faced with the same lack of communication where a representative asked me over three times my dob and name while still holding my military ID AND DL. Then to be told I need to call Tricare, on a Saturday, because it's something I need to fix. Even though my two children and my spouse all came up in the system expect for me, which is clearly an issue with the Pharmacy and will now be escalated with Tricare. I was NEVER offered to pay cash they actually didn't even fill my script or attempt to and sent me home with no meds, and then questioned if I could afford a $100 prescription. As a Navy wife of a medically retired Corpsman I'm disgusted at how I was treated especially after just leaving the urgent care due to have bronchitis and needing an emergency inhaler. The pharmacist never intervened or tried to help she didn't even acknowledge me or discuss my allergies or how I should take the medication. She just wrote a note on the package and handed over to the same rude representative. The only person who helped me was Cesar who spoke to my husband after he was furious I could not get my medication. I will be filing a complaint because it's clear not only are some of the pharmacy staff not skilled at the technicality of their job they also lack the empathy of sick people who have to come to the pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens Pharmacy Dept. is THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I received a vaccination one month ago here. I went in to get the second vaccination yesterday, and the pharmacist gave me many excuses why he couldn't give it to me. He said my insurance wouldn't approve it, and he was having difficulty contacting them. After waiting 1 1/2 hours, watching the pharmacist avoid me, watching him sighing & making excuses, I left! I came home and called my insurance co. They told me all vaccinations are covered (free), and that Walgreens hadn't even called them about my shots! They have records of all calls! So, the Walgreens pharmacist lied! I will never go threw this Walgreens' doors again! And, I'm spreading the word..... I would give them -5 stars as a rating. read more

When are for the first time recently. It wasn't the best time because of the holiday but I was still able to get in and get out promptly. This review is regarding the pharmacy and if I could I would love to give them a zero star review. I've never had any problems with trying to get a prescription filled until now. I'm new to the area and since this Walgreens is down the street from where I live I thought it would be easy to pick up my meds. I had asked the doctor to call in the prescription to this pharmacy because I really needed my medication badly as I literally only had one pill left. The doctor had to call 4 times!!! I had asked my husband to pick it up since I was at work and he said that it wasn't there. Then the next day I called and asked if it was ready and they said they have no record of it. I told them the doctor called and they had me on hold for like minutes and said they checked the voicemails and emails and still no prescription was called in. I kept telling the doctor and he even said he called and spoke with the pharmacist, twice! Even after 4 phone calls still no meds! Then I asked the doctor to call it into another pharmacy (Prescriptions Unlimited). I called Prescriptions Unlimited and they had my meds ready right away! This Walgreens pharmacy totally sucks!
