The lovely and fantastic department manager was at the helm of the register when I visited for the first time inside the store. She asked me if I had a Sam's membership, which I do however my wife carries the card. She said let me give you the lowdown on how we can save you some serious money and if anyone knows me you know that's the way to get my attention. This amazing Walmart manager says here's what we're gonna do I'm gonna take your $20 and we're gonna load it onto a Walmart gift card that's going to get you a three cent per gallon discount I'm like sweet! She says now borrow Mike's Sam's Club card since I know you have your own scan this before you put in your payment and you'll get another five cents per gallon off. Are you kidding me? The lady at Walmart just told me how to save eight cents a gallon at Walmart by using cash in my Sam's card? Seriously my life is just changed. Yeah that's a little extreme ordinarily overzealous But are use a lot of gas and if you extrapolate that based on the amount of gas and Uber or Lyft driver uses that's going to turn into some serious coin. So, all joking aside this really is a very cool money saving concept I love it.

First, the good: the prices are great, the products are very good, and BJ's is a solid place for bulk purchases and warranties on things like TVs. Gas is one of the biggest reasons we continue coming here. Inside they are very clean and stocked. It is consistently cheaper than surround gas stations, and when you combine that with the right coupons, the savings can be excellent. Now the bad. The outside of this location frequently looks dirty. BJ's distributes so many coupons that they end up left in carts and scattered throughout the parking lot. The gas lines are also consistently long. I understand Florida is HOT, but the attendant spends a lot of time inside while traffic backs up toward the main road. I've actually put on a vest once myself and helped direct the cars--it took about two minutes to get things moving. Customers shouldn't have to do that. Today's experience is what prompted this review. As we were leaving, my wife made herself a coffee and accidentally spilled it. Let me make this very clear: my wife made the mistake. She immediately went to get something and began cleaning up her own spill. I blocked carts/customers so they wouldn't step in the mess. An employee handed her paper towels but didn't offer to help, put out a wet-floor sign, or even ask whether she needed assistance. My wife cleaned the entire mess herself and we went on our way. The concern isn't that an employee should clean up after every customer. It's customer care and safety. I believe if you make a mess or break it- handle it but the store should help. Maybe bring you a trash can or hand you a towel. A liquid spill on a store floor should get an employee's attention--not only because of cleanliness, but because another customer could slip and fall. This isn't Publix, and I don't expect every store to provide the same level of service. But sometimes it feels like the priority here is completing the task in front of you rather than noticing the customer or what's happening around you. BJ's offers great prices, great fuel savings, and good products. That's why we continue to shop here. But when it comes to above-and-beyond customer service, keep your expectations realistic: get your goods, save some money, fill up your tank, and head home. As a shopper know your stores! There is always something you can get out of each store. Three stars = great prices, poor customer service.

I frequently visited this Publix when I lived in the Champions Gate area of Florida. The deli at this Publix will blow you away with their utterly delicious fresh from the deli subs, they cut their meat fresh for their subs daily (and sometimes directly as requested by customers for custom orders) and they only use fresh daily baked bread from their bakery for the sub rolls. They offer an assortment of subs that you can choose from (for example I like the chicken cordon Blu sub), and you can choose to add or subtract anything from the subs on the list. You also have the option of customizing your own sub any way you wish! Public has a wonderful bakery as well. My all time favorite dessert is the Publix key lime pie. It is the best key lime pie that I've ever tasted. Publix doesn't stop there, next they will take your breath away with their jaw dropping beautiful wedding cakes. Publix hires only the very best cake decorators for their stores. These true works of art are also very tasty as well! I could go on and on about the many ways that I love Publix! I actually lived in Silicon Valley, CA for a period of time, and during that time, I would talk to everyone I knew about how amazing Publix grocery stores were. I truly wish that Publix would expand to provide their services to the West coast. The associates at this Publix are all very kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, and respectful.
