Just don't go to them, or any Walgreens. I consistently have trouble getting RX. Waited on the phone for 20 min while I was rotated between hold music and the phone ringing, each time they just picked up the phone and put it back on hold again. When the guy finally answered I was so polite, because I know they are all always overwhelmed, but instead I got a lecture from Christian on how many RX he has waiting to fill and how many people are in line right now. He then told me to go to my doctor and get a paper RX and bring it in to them in person. Whaaat? I'm done, and I hope you are too. read more

Avoid this pharmacy! Three trips to get a prescription. First trip waited 10 minutes and the script wasn't ready. Told come back in 3 hours. Next day, pharmacist was at lunch so no script. When I appropriately expressed frustration, tech turned her back and walked away. Third visit, 22 hours after script was called in, still not ready. Told to wait, it shouldn't be more than 30 minutes. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The pharmacy techs and pharmacist are rude and dismissive - not helpful at all. I have now tried filling the same 2 prescriptions with them the last 7 days in a row and they have had the audacity to lie to my face every step of the way - I still don't have my medications. My experience with this pharmacy has been so bad that I've called my doctors in the parking lot and had them send my prescriptions somewhere else. Horrible customer service. Some of the rudest employees I've ever encountered. I never leave bad reviews, but this place is absolutely awful. I've always been nice to employees, but even when I'm kind I'm met with contempt. I hopped in line at the pharmacy late (I didn't know they closed at 6 as I'm new to town), and I was told to leave. I politely said okay and asked what time they opened the next day. The woman at the counter started raising her voice and repeating that she couldn't help me that day. I said I knew that but would come back tomorrow. She raised her voice more and told me to leave. I was honestly so confused. Every time I come here I have an awful experience. I'm not happy that Walgreens took over this Rite Aid where I've been a customer for 27 years. It took three long, frustrating calls to try to refill a prescription I've had for years. The first time their automated system didn't recognize the prescription refill number. The second time they disconnected me after I had been on hold for several minutes. The third time I finally was able to talk to a person, but THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY INHALER in stock. Ridiculous. Compare the reviews of Rite Aid to Walgreens. This a change for the worse. read more

Lines are really long. You can't trust text messages that tell you your order is ready for pickup- it's normally not ready so take a seat and wait. staff is not friendly or helpful. Typically just a really bad experience with this Walgreens. Time to try another pharmacy. read more

I did not come for the pharmacy part, but they've got it. I did not come for the photo department, but they've got it. I didn't come for the drugstore, the clothing, the toys, the household goods, or any of the other stuff that I forget is commonly found at drugstores. No, instead I came for drinks. Which I never really remember they have at drugstores like Walgreens, except a light bulb went off in my head and I remembered, and got them. Sort of like a quasi-convenience store quasi-grocery store, the back wall has a long panel of refrigerators with food and drinks. Massive props for the big selection of drinks. Not in love with the prices, but it was about convenience today. This is one of the tidier, more open, and spacious Walgreens I've been to, so kudos for that as well. read more

If you are concerned about your health, I would recommend staying away from the Walgreens on 4500 S 900 E. The drive thru was ten cars deep, so I went inside to get a prescription. Not one worker there had a mask or gloves on. While I was waiting at the pharmacy, I saw the pharmacist blow her nose twice, stick the Kleenex in her pocket and not wash her hands. She then handled prescription bottles. The pharmacy clerk said a couple of times that she wasn't feeling well and looked sick. She dropped a guy's prescription on the floor and just picked it up and put it in his bag. This just isn't acceptable right now (or ever). So, be careful and keep our seniors away. read more

i would give walgreen's located at 531 e 400 s in slc a genuine rating of minus 1000 (-1000) but in order to write a review you must put at least 1 star. the staff is juvenile and are not customer friendly. they are lazy and do not perform their job descriptions! the pharmacy instead of filling prescriptions literally must take the medications themselves because they cant even hardly speak or understand english and cant answer the phone in over an hour with only 3 callers on the line. i do not understand how they keep their doors open ......one of the worst stores in the entire state if utah and perhaps the u.s.a. do everyone a favor and close forever and never open . read more

Don't waste your time. They don't know what they're doing, and their employees seem passive aggressive. I have had to call them multiple times in the past week to get a prescription. They can't even be bothered with basic professionalism such as identifying themselves by name when they answer the phone; they push back on the customer to know and do their jobs for them; the information they enter or store in their computer system is incorrect and contradictory, they don't update your files. Went in to drop off a prescription and told it'd take 1.5 hours. Ok, left to come back later to pick it up. After standing in line for 20 minutes with two people in front of me and two behind, a manager was paged to help out but never showed up, I was told they were out of stock on the cough syrup and to come back later. So I took my prescription back and went across the street to Smiths Grocery. In and out with my prescription in 15 minutes. A grocer knows how to fill prescriptions and a drug store doesn't. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. We got home and they gave us the wrong pills! I'm glad I always check them before anyone takes one. There is no excuse for this. I used to work in a pharmacy and would fill prescriptions and then it would go to two other people to check and make sure the prescription was correct. Unexceptable. I came back and they gave me the correct pills and refunded the costs. But it seemed like it was no big deal to them. Another time we came here they said it would be an hour for our prescription and we would receive a text when it was ready. We waited 2 hours for the text never got one and so we called and the pharmacy was closed! It was only 6pm. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

I drove up to the pickup window to get my prescription. They ask me to come inside t will only take 15 minutes. I wait inside to talk to the pharmacist, after 50 minutes I ask what's going on, the girl gives me my prescription and has me leave. Very incompetent people here. This location is a joke. I've made the mistake of stopping at this location more than once because it was on my route. And every single time they are understaffed. I prefer this location over some of the other ones. They are always really expedient at getting your prescriptions out and rarely are things miss-marked. The store is pretty clean and kept up, staff is friendly. It can be hard to get out of the parking lot lot because of all the traffic and it being so close to the light, but it's convenient that it's so close to Smith's and Wal-Mart so you aren't driving all over town of you need to go grocery shopping. read more

This store opened up in January 2013, the store manager here, will go above and beyond to satisfy the customers. If the store is out of stock of an item and the customer isn't able to go to the other store to grab it, he will drive to the other store and grab it for them. My rating is in regards to their passport picture service. I had mine done 9 mos ago. Kiosk was broke they had to do it from the computer, but after a lot of waiting they finally got it done. Today husb goes in for his and same thing kiosk is broke, Pic wont come up. this after the back drop screen is broke and the help has to hold it up behind him. This time obviously they didn't think of or don't know how to bring it up on the computer, so after being there an hour, it turned into, oh well, sorry, go somewhere else.
