If it's out of stock, when will you get it?? And two, if you guys are unable to get it today, can you transfer it to another pharmacy so I can pick it up today?! That seemed very difficult for her. Her response in a nutshell. We don't have it and can order it will be to here tomorrow. I need it filled today as I'm leaving town. Asked if she could have it transferred to another pharmacy. She told me to hang up and call another pharmacy to have it filled there. I asked her if she could have it transferred since she's already in my profile. So I don't hang up and have to call another pharmacy. I mean that would be a good customer service. No. Then she told me to just go to the pharmacy and talk to them and pick it up. At that point, I said, let me talk to a manager. The manager got on the phone and said she can't even transfer it and that the doctor would need to have it transferred. So she just gave me information that was false just to get me off the phone. On top of that- if she's going to talk crap about me at least know that her phone is still on I can hear. Take that girl off the phones. *** and after reading these reviews, it sounds like the pharmacy department is just making the review ratings go down.

I went in a couple hours later to pick up the prescription and they told me they lost my entire profile. They lost the prescription and all my info!!!! They were extremely rude like it was my fault. Never called me to let me know any status at all. They did not even care! Horrible customer service. I got the prescriptions transferred to Harmons in Holladay they got them done for me in record time. I will only use Harmons in Holladay pharmacy!!!

However, in the past few years, the location has gone downhill and whoever manages this store does not seem to care. Shelves are empty and there seems to be a skeleton crew running the place. I have stopped picking up most of my prescriptions from here because of this situation. This past weekend, I broke my leg and had the ER call my meds in to this location since it is the closest to my house. When looking up the hours so I could have a neighbor pick up my prescription, I noticed that the pharmacy is not even open on Sunday! I had to call the ER department back and have the prescriptions sent to another pharmacy that was open. Today, after surgery, my surgeon sent several prescriptions here. The prescriptions were called in several hours prior to being picked up, and the whole order was not ready after being called in many hours in advance. The pharmacist and technician who were on duty were very short and dismissive with my parents who had to pick up my prescriptions. Unfortunately, after this experience and after my recovery, I will continue to pick up prescriptions elsewhere. The cashiers at the front of the store are always friendly and helpful, but the pharmacy department really needs a complete overhaul so they can serve customers in a more efficient and friendly manner. The continual complaints from those who work in the pharmacy that they are short staffed (which they have been stating) is not an acceptable excuse for such poor service for a pharmacy.

Most recently, I called to fill a controlled substance and asked to fill it today, the person on the pharmacy's end of the line's answer was, yes in 30-40 minutes. I sent my bf to pick them up to find that they cn't be filled until tomorrow, which is fine had you not told me I could pick them up today. The pharmacist states I should have enough to last.... SO NOT THE POINT!!! I have my meds lady, but i wanted a refill. She says next time to ask to speak with a pharmacist to ensure the info I'm getting is correct ?!?!?! WTH???? No! If I can't trust your staff, I can't trust you. JOSH*** so sorry to come at you wrong. But you people need to get your act straight. I've had a long working relationship with this group of people, but it has gone to crap and I will be changing pharmacies. I tried this pharmacy on a whim after receiving a $15 off coupon for first item customers in the…read moremail. I forgot the coupon, but that was what drew me in. I had just had dental work completed and needed a pain prescription filled like yesterday, so I stopped in since Walgreen's usually makes me wait 30 minutes. At Hyland Pharmacy I had less than 5 minute wait. The staff was super friendly and it took less than 30 seconds to get my insurance info all taken care of. If you stop by, check out the nifty ceiling fans that turn by a pulley system. This is an adorable little business and my new personal favorite pharmacy. The downside is that their hours are limited, closing at 6 pm on weekdays and I believe 3 pm on weekends. The shelves are looking a little bare- lets make sure this place doesn't go out of business! Give it a try and support the little guy.

Its employees are nice, and that isn't true of every store. Its Pharmacy is especially good compared to other SLC pharmacies, and excellent for vaccine availability!! Its food is good, but not great, compared to several other local groceries. However, Dan's Foothill Village, Whole Foods and Harmon's are much more expensive and usually better than this Walmart. Those groceries do not even compete in the other departments this Walmart has: Clothing, Tools, Car Supplies, Electronics, Sporting Goods, Garden Supplies & Equipment, etc. Walmart is nearly unique, rivaled overall by Costco and Target. I have ordered from Walmart.com many times and they did a uniformly excellent job for me!! They are even appreciative!

I generally don't have a problem. This store is smaller therefore they don't carry some of the things a bigger Walmart does. Clothing for example. Very limited in finding something I want or that will fit me in that color. My current issue is the MILK DEPARTMENT. Maybe 1 out of 12 days is it fully stocked. Every time I go in they maybe have two or three "lanes" with only two gallons. The dumb thing is I can see all the milk in their crates ready to put in the doors. Is there somebody back there that can do that? Is there any other Walmart workers I can flag down and ask? Nope. I ALL WANT IS A 1/2 GALLON OF HALF & HALF and at this point I will pay the high price for whatever they have in stock that day BUT IT ISN'T STOCKED!! It makes me wonder if anyone else has complained about the milk.
