This Walgreens is alright. The layout looks the same as the other locations. The aisles are small so I do feel claustrophobia.

This review is for the pharmacy. Horrible customer service!! Over and over the medication is not available. You have to come back another day when they get it in. They rarely answer the phone. The few times they answer they put you on hold. Was on hold for 2 hours + 1 minute then disconnected!!! NOT the first time this happened. Frequently long wait lines inside the store at the pharmacy (10-15 people). Appears there aren't enough workers. Recently my Dr sent an electronic prescription for a generic med. When I went to pick it up they said he had specified the brand name, which they don't carry. I asked to see a copy of the prescription. Plain as day, he prescribed the generic! They then argued and said it was the brand name. It appears that they have difficulty understanding English. Bottom line: AWFUL service!! read more

Been using This Walgreen pharmacy at Blossom hill and Snell's for years and noticed the recent years customer service went down hell! The staffs attitude is terrible like they either hate their job or they hate peoples almost all of them in there having the same bad attitude. It been a while I noticed that I just keep letting it go hoping just one or two people are like that and hoping it just some having a bad day but it been over a year still the same I wondering what is their management doing?! This time I try to pick up my son's prescriptions from his doctor. I went in the store this time hope wait time will be less than drive through but we waited as always the cashier sent us to other window to pick up got the prescription, step away the counter before hand it to my son I look at the bottle and stockily find out it was expired a year ago. I Return back to cashier and the staff he look and back to me said oh we don't have any are not expired and hand me the refund of was like it that a joke? Without apology or tell me we can order for you or something to help. He sent me to other window again to that pharmacist that gave me pills the first time. finally! She said sorry I didn't notice that was expired still with the long sour face again. I have to ask if they can order it I can pick up later. She impatiently clicking her keyboard say nothing after a minute she goes ok ordered. I ask her when I expecting it so I can come pick up. She goes idk I sent the order it didn't say when will be here. I went back two days later they said they haven't received it yet. Day after I went again still nothing but. finally! This only nice young girl said we will contact you when we got it. 3 days later today I went again cus my son asked me if it arrive I turn to the drive through at the window saw an Guy there on the phone waited over 10 minutes he have no eyes contact at all like we are invisible! I wave at him he didn't even look over he just pointing on his phone. Ridiculous customer service!! and Then he step away, I look in the pharmacy there's no other customer inside and same other staff was free didn't have anything to do looks like. I press the call bottom he came back finally helping me impatiently. After few minutes he said they don't have it yet. Then said they received it today but they haven't fill it in bottle for me not ready for pick up. I told him last time when they have me that expired bottle was seal with exact mouth for 30 days no fill needed. Then that pharmacist that gave expired bottle walked over and their guy asked her and she look at the computer and walk away I thought great she got it. Lol she came back with a over counter bottle and gave it to the guy and tell him to tell me I can buy it. I said no this is doctor prescribed it not those over 150-200pcs bottle I need. My doctor prescribed for only 30 days. WTH with this people seriously?! And then another lady came over and I have a been help I just laughed and said yes then she came back the window and told me they didn't receive the order yet. I explained what that guy told me and she said no we don't have it yet. I just smile and drive away. Wasted my time for this terrible Walgreen. I had never wrote such long reviews but over the year see how bad they are I think I should shoutout to their management and let others know. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. I dropped off my paper prescription Nov 29th right after my cardiology appointment about 2pm (no line time). I asked if i could wait and the girl at the counter looked at me in a panic, she looked at the pharmacist and then said "no, we are way behind from Thanksgiving, we will call you". I received no call. I went in today the 5th right after work, waited in line for over an hour. when it was finally my turn there was no prescription in their computer. The girl named Chame told me she was going to look please have a seat. i waited about another 20 minutes , she called me up to tell me its not in the computer and she does not see it. I asked if they have any paper RX that may have confused them, I described my RX in detail, provider name, 3 items on 1 RX, name of the Dr. that prescribed, her response is "there is a large stack and it may take me a while" My response "ill wait" . She said she will check if i would please have a seat. She then proceeded to help the drive through window. After watching this another 15 minute I went the the worker at the consult window and asked for her help. She looked in the computer and guess what, ITS NOT THERE. i know this already .... she took down the details that Chame already had and said she will look for it after the line goes down, I watched that line get longer over the last 2 hours, i think she noticed the expression on my face because she then said she will call me. I was very clear when i first went, this is heart medication and a blood thinner... I will include as I sat and watched others have their turn at the window it was problem after problem, maybe theirs are in the large stack also.. I work in customer service and many times I feel helpless when things don't go correctly, but trust and believe I care about people and they know it. the people in this pharmacy have no compassion. Dear pharmacy people, you accepted this job, try and do it well, you are dealing with sick people. Try this phrase:" I'm sorry, we have lost your prescription and will need to call your Dr. tomorrow during normal business hours. I am so sorry for the inconvenience." This would have been better than having me wait for 2 hours watching fail patient after patient. They did call me back, no message, I am now on hold @ 1hr and 2 minutes being next in line for over 40 minutes, my phone will probably die before they pick up. PS there was trash in the bin next to the line and the sanitizing wipes also at the line were gross and crusty. read more

Would give none of I could. Made the appointment online for vaccinations. Filled out all the forms. When we arrived, there was no consultation window open. We arrived on time and waited 10 minutes in line and then found out that a they were no flu shots when they asked us if we wanted flu shots online and be that the forms we have filled out online would have to be repeated. They asked us to take a seat without giving us the forms, and we waited another 15 minutes without the forms wow one person who is incredibly inefficient Donald around behind the desk. The line continue to get longer yet no one came to give us the forms or to give us our shots. When I asked why we hadn't been given the forms, I got a lip saying "I was taking care of other patients" with a line continuing to grow. Meanwhile the line continue to build. We walked out, and the person couldn't have cared less telling us to have a nice day with a smile on her face. I went to talk to the manager who is not there. The shift manager was equally worthless. I would avoid this location at all costs. I've gotten other vaccinations at Walgreens around the area and it was seamless and painless. Stay away from this place. Here's an update.... My wife went to Safeway with an appointment. she was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The people at Walgreen's should be ashamed of themselves, but their indifference is evident. This pharmacy is just as bad as the one on Foxworthy. I signed my fiancée up to get his Covid booster. He had the confirmation number and filled out everything online before hand. When he got to the pharmacy they didn't have his appointment and had him sit in a chair for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes they gave him paperwork to fill out. I just started taking a new medication with my doctor yesterday. I had forgot to ask the pharmacist a question about medication interaction. This morning I couldn't call since they were still closed. So I tried calling my local Walgreens pharmacy but they were no longer 24hrs anymore. So I called one that was and happened to be in San Jose that I've been to a while back. I was put on hold for 5-6 mins and then when someone in the pharmacy answered she said I would need to ask the pharmacist. She asked for my birthday , I explained I didn't get my prescription here that I only needed to ask the pharmacist a question, which I've always been able to do at any pharmacy I might add. I've never been told they can't help me like I was told and that I should call my own pharmacy i went too. I said no I just had a quick question. So I was put back on hold and remained on hold for now 30minutes!! Off and on and continued to sound like I was just continuously put back on hold through out this whole phone call. I was told they were busy once or twice and to keep holding. Nobody ever came back and then I was eventually hung up on at the end. I called back, asked to speak to the manager and he was very nice but he put me back in hold to the pharmacy, but I still remained to be on hold and no one answered. I will not shop at this store anymore. I used to be a frequent customer here and shopped here all the time when i lived in this area and still do when I'm at my office working down the street. I didn't like how I was treated and continually made sound like I was not important from the Pharmacy department. I will be letting my other friends and family that do live in this area to not shop here anymore and how horrible the service and experience was!!! read more

Avoid this place if you are fighting anything stronger than a common cold. I'm on a very strict regimen, and they didn't have something in stock. Instead of just saying so, insisted on an alternative which was consuming loads of a children's version of the medicine, and got condescending when we didn't agree. You know that doesn't help the healing process when you have to deal with this. My clinic agreed that this alternative recommendation was bad. And we found plenty of the medicine I needed right across the street at CVS. So if you are fighting a heavy illness or disease, find a pharmacy that understands what you are going through. read more

this is the absolute worst pharmacy - we were transferred here by Luckys who closed down. I have waited 3 weeks to get my daughter's RX - 3 times I called and 3 times they said they would take care of it - I called and waited an hour before I got someone on the line and by that time I was in the store. They still hadn't filled her RX even though they said they would 2 days before. They said they didn't have supply - but they did 2 days prior but have given the supply to other orders...I am now on the line and have been on for an hour... We will be taking our business elsewhere - they really are the worst. read more

I came here specifically for the photo printing from the kiosk, and it took forever to get it to work (believe me. I tried all three). Beware using this type of kiosk as it will upload your last 50, 100, etc photos you took regardless if you have pics in a "hidden" folder (or any folder). If you have any questionable pics then you should not use this device. I tried using the Upload from FB feature but it don't work. All in all, I printed two pictures and the whole process took me 20 min. If you want instant print or want to use a kiosk such as this, the Kodak Moments kiosk you find at Target is much better. I do have to say though, that the staff at this location was friendly and helpful. read more

If less than zero stars was available, that's what I would rate this pharmacy, especially the last 6 months. They are doing harm and will kill someone with the level of mismanagement. They are severely understaffed, the staff is poorly trained, and are clearly getting brunt out from everyone being upset with them, so they cope by displaying zero empathy when they screw up, or make up stuff about why something went wrong, poor hiring and management policies. Now I am finding out that when you call to request pharmacy refills, you might not be speaking with the pharmacy and they can tell you bad information on the phone. If you try to get your prescriptions here, this location will cause you to go without prescription by messing up while filling it, messing up on-billing insurance and block you getting it anywhere else because they are working on it. And that's after wasting all your free time and making very very angry when you attempt to make them do your job because that's the only reasonably close place to your home for after hours pick up , sad state of healthcare if we can call it that. In January: 2.5 weeks to get a prescription: It took 40 minute wait on hold to get my prescription transferred here. 3 days later, still no prescription, calling my doctor for direct refills, at which point I have to explain to my doctor who is concerned I may be taking it not as prescribed and should need a refill yet, how the pharmacy is screwing it up. With new prescription, 4 separate trips with 30 min wait each (plus the 2 visits of 30 min waits at which point I gave up and left ) to get my prescription filled and covered. If I may say I am highly reliant on this medication to keep my job and get really ill and unable to work if it is interrupted, to be well and able to work. Yes it is a newer medication that's tricky but not anything that has not been around for years. They had to bill my insurance and co-pay coupon correctly. After 2.5 weeks I finally filled my prescription with a promise that next time it will be smooth. February: 2 week into it,... similar saga but with more twists, and my insurance running out but couldn't get refill started early because of January delays... same amount of time wasted, still no prescription, and likely will not get one unless I can come up with $1,200 for it, and now I have no coverage to fill the prescription elsewhere because I got promised along the way that it's fine it will work, it will get covered. At this point dealing with the pharmacy is making me more sick and need more of the medication than just not having it at all. Don't let this happen to you. If your life or livelihood depends on a medication, DO NOT fill it here.. not worth the risk. read more

The pharmacy is good about 1% of the time. There are literally only two people who work there that know what they're doing. My husband insists on going here for his multiple medications because he is scared is he changes pharmacies something will get messed up. Well, guess what. Something is always messed up here. Today the "system was down" and we could not get a new prescription. Usually I would say no problem I'll come back, but I waited to come late to avoid the horrific lines and I could not come back even later or the next day. The manager did not handle the situation well and argued with me instead. Totally missing the issue and not providing any viable options. I figured it out myself and chose the same day delivery option, which will be tomorrow, but as long as I don't have to go back and wait in those lines I'm good. read more

I've had terrible experiences both times I had to use this pharmacy. I only ended up coming here because all Lucky pharmacies closed and mine transferred all their customer scripts/records here. I was with Lucky's for many years and they were all wonderful. Never had issues. The first month I used this place was 3 months ago. Doctor sent my script, no communication from the pharmacy. I tried getting through to the pharmacy the next day, no answer. I chatted online, they told me they couldn't help me and to call the store directly and see if they'd transfer me to the pharm. I called the store, only to be told "they don't answer their phone". What kind of pharmacy doesn't answer their phone and how is that legal?? I had to drive down there just to talk to them. Come to find out, they were waiting for "insurance", which never covers my script, which, they had my records so you'd think they'd see I've had to pay for this medication over the last 10 years. I told them to verify they had my phone number so they could contact me when it was done. They verified. Keep in mind, I there was a line of 7 people ahead of me. They told me they'd work on it. I waited over 2 HOURS for them to fill 39 pills. After 2 hours (it was past 11 at night and I had to work the next day), I went home, livid. Needless to say, I never got a notification when my script was ready. I was finally able to get synced online to show it was ready for pickup around 11:30 AM. 2nd visit: This is the WORST. I called them about my script (after sitting on hold and being hung up on after 20+ minutes, they finally started answering the phone after calling back a few times, at least), the day after it was sent, because I got no communication from them. I was told by one of the people that they didn't have it in stock. I asked when it will be in. She told me "tomorrow after 12 pm". Keep in mind, when people stop taking this medication, they end up in the hospital, can start having siezures, and actually die. It's very dangerous to stop, and I was out my medication that night. Fast forward to the next day, not a WORD from this place. I call around 7 PM, a pharmacist answers, sounded Philipino, maybe (not the Indian one, he's cool). I ask him about my script and he says "I don't know who told you that, but, I only order medications on Fridays". It was a Tuesday, I believe. I said, so, what am I supposed to do now? I'll end up in the hospital without this and You can't transfer a script and the Dr is closed. He said hold on, put me on hold. Came back like 5 minutes later and said he happened to "Scrounge up" some medication that someone else didn't need, which, I thought was odd. He said 'give me like 20 minutes and you can pick it up'. I was thinking okay great, problem solved. I waited an hour and headed there. Picked it up through the drive through. On my way home, I realized it didn't look like the correct amount of medication. I counted the meds, he shorted me A WEEK'S worth of medication. When I came back in to tell them, the Indian pharmacist was cool. I don't think he was there when all this happened. He picked up the bottle, looked at it, and just dropped it on it's lid (basically like "what the heck did this guy do when he filled this??). I could tell he saw that the other pharmacist didn't even finish counting the medication correctly and just put it in a bag for pickup and left. He didn't sign off on the bottle, which, is a requirement for the type of medication I take. I feel like I should have filed a complaint with the Pharmacy Board of California over this. Luckily, the Indian pharmacist filled the remaining missing meds. But, had I not caught that, I would have been in serious, serious trouble. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but, people depend on medications to live. It's not something to ever be messed with and other deserve to know what they could encounter when they go somewhere. Every pharmacy near here has terrible reviews, all 1-2 stars. It's disappointing because I'm sure there's good people working there. But, others ruin the whole place. I use this pharmacy because they are open 24/7 and have a drive through option for picking up your filled prescriptions. I'm not sure why the pharmacy personnel has changed almost entirely the last few months, but the current staff are largely horrible. I have a prescription for a controlled med; it can't be transferred or filled early so my refills are sent in just a couple days before I'm out. Recently my Dr sent refill in, and for 4-5 days the status said pending review by pharmacist. I called for an update; put on hold, then someone answered and immediately hung up on me. Tried again - same issues Used their chat feature in app and was told they didn't have the medication in stock and I should call them . Escalated to a different dept; finally got a call from a pharmacist who told me going forward to send in refill early. I said I've gotten this med here for a year, can't it just be a standing order? He said no, I should remind him by calling every month. WTH? FYI- if anyone uses GoodRx or similar they will try to not accept it, despite being legally obligated too. read more

I had a very unnerving experience at Walgreen's Blossom Hill!! A homeless man was allowed entrance into store and was freely walking around following me for a "handout"! He was NOT wearing a mask, following me up and down isles...getting closer to me at will!! I was very nervous being an almost 80 yr woman, not knowing his intent! I would prefer no stars for this Walgreens. My fiance needed some antibiotics urgently on a Saturday night, and this was the only Walgreens open 24 hours, so I went there at about 8pm. The store was not in great shape and not very clean. Waited in line for about a half hour, and the pharmacist assured me they would fill my prescription within an hour, and text me when it was ready. I would then have to wait in the long line again to actually pick up my prescription. I decided to go home and then come back once they texted me. However, before leaving I asked to use the restroom. The clerk used a code to let me in. OMG this was the filthiest, most disgusting restroom I have ever seen. Toilet was clogged with many things (I won't list them here, very gross). No toilet paper, no seat covers. The urinal, toilet, sink, floor and walls were all filthy. This was worse than any gas station bathroom. Shocking for a company that touts health and wellness. Walgreen should be ashamed. To top it off, I still didn't get a text by 11pm so we decided to wait until the morning. In the morning, still no text, so I went back to the Walgreens. The prescription was ready. I explained that I never received a text. The pharmacist replied "Oh the text service doesn't operate at night. They should have told you that". Ugh read more

Completely unprofessional and unbelievably horrible customer service. I called the pharmacy for the past 45 minutes only to be transferred, hung up on, placed on endless holds with no communication that I was being placed on hold. Numerous attemptEd calls were made to be placed on hold for five minutes to seven minutes then calls just end. You have patients who depend on medications for everyday functions, before you place someone on hold- no matter how busy it is, you COMMUNICATE that, and say you're with someone and you will be transferring me or placing me on hold! The manager named Ricky and Pharmacist Veronica both need better training on patient care and customer service. Use any other Walgreens location for your pharmacy!! This one will tell you to contact them but you will never get them to answer the phone! read more

This location does a good job keeping their shelves stocked in comparison with others in the area. Their cashiers aren't the fastest at serving customers, so lines can get very long, but if you want to get out in a timely manner, I'd suggest taking your items to the make up counter, as there aren't usually many people waiting to check out. read more

Terrible manager . Pharmacy opens when they are done taking lunch , it doesn't open based on advertised times . Manager doesn't care either and is a smug . The manager and pharmacist both were extremely rude and unprofessional! The manager told me I wasn't making sense when I asked them they should make sure they are open on time and mocked me while rolling up her eyes. Pharmacist was the same and was super rude . I never come to this Walgreens as it's very far from my home, but I was in a work related training program nearby and decided to come here during my lunch break to get a flu shot. Big mistake. The person who checked me in was nice enough, she said the wait time was 15-30 minutes, which was fine for the timeframe I had. I filled out the form and waited. And waited. There were 3 people ahead of me (including a couple who got vaccinated together). After almost 45 minutes I asked the guy (who was vaccinating) how much longer as I had to get back to work. Very rudely and curtly he replied 'I'm processing in order'. A simple apology would have sufficed. After another 15 minutes my turn came. I got my shot, told him off and left. Got to work late. Customer service 101 - apologize, specially if you're in the wrong. It's not rocket science. read more

Walgreens Pharmacy... not sure why but I've come a few times and each time it's a long line... and for almost each person picking up they seem to walk all over looking for it. It's not where the system tells them... and twice they after waiting for them to triple check the bins and other possible locations which took a long time I'm told to wait while the pharmacist fills a new one. A 5 min pickup turns into a 30 minute wait. Ridiculous. Never coming here again unless I absolutely have to.... They are open 24/7. I've never had this problem across the street with CVS read more

This is supposed to be the only 24 hour Walgreens in the area. I head over there in the early morning hours to get some medicine for my sick kid. There is a sign in the window that states "store closed until 8am. Drive thru pharmacy open." What?? How can a store with posted hours indicating they are open 24/7 be closed until 8am? Ok whatever. So I go to the pharmacy drive thru figuring they can probably sell me some children's Tylenol. There is a sign in the window there stating "pharmacist not on duty." What a joke. read more

Went there (6/21/20) to buy some OTC meds, not one employee was wearing a face mask. Laughing, gigling right next to each other. Really?? You work in a place where people go to get meds, primarily and none of the employees are wearing masks. Not one employee. The pharmacy workers are rude, I recently needed to pick up pain medication and the worker said I didn't have insurance. I told her my insurance was on file every other time I've picked up a prescription she didn't bother checking so I had to call my parents to see if it changed. The lady was mad wrote down some stuff and then just gave me the prescription after saying I had no insurance? She never said if the insurance went through which I assumed it did since she handed it to me. A couple days later after my surgery I needed different medication. They said the insurance denied it and I needed to call my doctor and tell them to call the insurance. So I did, the second time around they still denied it. So my mom showed up with a different insurance card. Which they refused to check and said I wasn't covered on it. They started arguing with my mom that they already told her I wasn't covered. My mom called her insurance and verified I was covered and it wasn't until then when they finally decided to enter the numbers and see that I was covered. Then they said she had to wait an additional 30 minutes. We had asked them to have the prescription ready because if the insurance didn't cover it I would've paid out of pocket. Still waiting an hour later and it's not ready. They all need to be trained better or replaced. read more

Not to mention their phone wait times. My sick child's prescription should have been ready 4 hrs prior and it's not. I have called multiple times and I cannot get through to a live person. This pharmacy is clearly under-staffed. I have never seen three technicians behind the computers. Usually only one computer is being used and thus the line gets really long. It can easily take 30 min-1hour to just pick up a medication. read more
