The first time I came in Maggie did my brows, plucked and she shaped them really nice. Made sure I was happy with the way she did them before I left, and helped me pick out a product that was better then the eyeshadow brow stuff I was using prior to my visit. I didn't have to go back for two months.. I could of prolly waited at least three, but I felt like my shape started to disappear. So the next time I came in Lola did my brows, waxed. First time having them waxed, and it didn't hurt as bad as I anticipated. She was very helpful and made sure for it being my first time that everything was perfect before I left. Both ladies were very helpful. I recommend both, they do a great job there. But for now on I'm sticking to wax, I feel like it's more effective then plucking and it hurts a lot less. read more

I am very particular in how I get my eyebrows done. Along with a nail salon, finding a place to get your eyebrows done when you move to a new town is the hardest thing to find! That being said, for years I have only done threading with one woman. To my surprise Lola gave me exactly what I wanted! She was very kind & patient with my eyebrows and only cleaned them up which was what I wanted. I'm always weary of going to a new person because having thin & over arched eyebrows was not what I am looking for. Sam is exactly who I've been looking for! I've been in search of the perfect instagram-worthy eyebrows (you know what I mean) for a long time, and after wasting money on overpriced/only ok eyebrow artists, I've finally found The One. Sam is meticulous, patient, and VERY good at what she does. She knows how to shape and trim eyebrows like nobody's business. My brows look so good post-wax, I opt-out of the filling in. The first time I came here, I honestly didn't have a good experience! I can't remember who did my brows, but she overwaxed them unevenly. She filled them in with the pencil and brow gel really well, so I couldn't even tell how uneven they were until I washed my face. It was bad. Like, one was missing a noticeable chunk. Once they grew in, I decided to book an appointment again, but with a different person, and got Sam. She made my brows look even AND Insta-worthy, and does so every time I come in. I'm giving this post a 3 mostly because I feel bad because she was so nice. I went in there last week with totally over grown brows and absolutely needed them to be reshaped. I've been in here before and Maggie did them for me and she did an amazing job. I was hoping to walk in and have her do them for me again. Except she was booked and couldn't get me in. Which I get it's the holidays. They had a spot open with Martha. She was really nice and bubbly. I figured she was a benefit brown expert so I would be ok. Unfortunately she didn't reshape my brows and literally just cleaned up the outer areas and that was it. She spent literally an hour on me doing god knows what, and then filled them in. The results were awful. For what I paid I could have done them myself. And how she filled them in, well let's just I bought face wipes on my way out and cleaned my face in the car. My brows aren't the same shape and they aren't even close enough to where I can fill them in to look the same. So now I have to walk around with my brows looking ridiculous until they're grown out enough to get them done again. Like I said she was SUPER sweet and I'm sure she's great at other things, but brows are not her expertise. read more

I am pretty upset. Came here and saw Mena. She didn't understand my desire to keep the thickness of my brow. Made it thin. Took off months and months of growing out. And the shape is not good. I've been to great benefit brow artists who know what thick shaped brows look like. She tried to tell me i miscommunicated and I sorta agreed but in reality I've been to others and they got it. I normally go to the Brow Bar at Macy's but I just haven't been very satisfied lately. I decided to get my brows waxed at Ulta and was so happy that I did. Marjorie began with eyebrow mapping (never had that done at the other place. Marjorie was clean, super nice, and as gentle as can be. I m very picky about my brows, they have a good shape and I don't let just anyone wax them because they usually can get the shape and/or make them too thin but I am VERY impressed with the brow bar at Ulta. I showed up as a walk-in 10 min before Kayla's shift ended. Kayla was so gracious and took me even though that meant she had to set up all over again because she was literally getting ready to close up. Now about Kayla's skills... she was so meticulous and drew out exactly what she was going to do to my brows, and then gave me the mirror so I could see her "blueprint" she just drew on my brows. I've never seen anyone do that before, pretty cool! I'm so particular about my brows and was super hesitant to try someone new, but I had no choice... it was time, and I'm so glad I did! Kayla groomed my brows perfectly and even managed to get rid of my grey brows without leaving ANY bald spots!! I couldn't believe it! Horrible professionalism and customer service. My daughter made a brow appointment with new staff at the Benefit brow bar. This employee made an appointment to wax my daughters brows over the phone without screening about any use of topical or systemic medications. Booked the appointment, then waited until we came in for the appointment to screen and deny being waxed due to topical acne medication. As if taking time out of a busy schedule due to lack of professionalism and ultimately good customer service isn't bad enough. The head esthetician proceeded to "educate" my daughter on the use of, and effects of the topical medications. All of which turned me off even more about this staff and Ulta. This woman is a trained, licensed esthetician and she couldn't take to time to educate herself of these products and how they effect the skin? Not only did she not know the difference of class of the topical my daughter was using - but she also didn't know the effects of each class of medication. So basically we were denied service because of a topical antibiotic, and had to listen to an ignorant head of skin care teach us mis-information - after wasting our time by not screening in the first place. Please people. Take some accountability for your actions, your profession, and the business you work for. Take the time to provide customers with better service. AND information. Wont be back.
