At approximately 9:30 p.m. tonight, the line at the front of the store grew to seven customers waiting to be checked out. Several employees were present, including some stocking shelves and two leaning and talking to each other in the photo section, yet no one stepped in to assist with the line. Brian was the only cashier at the register, and he was on his Bluetooth engaged in a personal conversation. He was speaking to "shorty," cursing, and discussing a friend who "got his ass" locked up but would not have if he was 21 or older. The conversation was loud and inappropriate for customers to overhear. He was so distracted by the call that he forgot to ring up an item for the customer in front of me and had to redo the transaction. I have never experienced a cashier carrying on a full blown personal conversation on the phone while actively checking out customers. read more

Buyers Beware: I strongly advise against purchasing gift cards from this store or any Walgreens location. I bought an Amazon gift card as a birthday present, but the card was damaged, making it impossible to load the funds onto the recipient's Amazon account. When I returned to the store with both the card and the receipt, I was directed to contact Amazon. Amazon then informed me that, because it was a third-party purchase, I needed to resolve the issue with Walgreens. Unfortunately, Walgreens declined to assist, leaving me without a resolution and out the money I spent. For this reason, I recommend avoiding the purchase of any gift cards from this store or any Walgreens store. Scam season is in full effect! read more

I'd die before going back. So their web page said no RX needed for Covid booster. Got there and it was a different story. I explained to a "floater" named MARIA that I have an aneurysm right next to my heart and I had to get a booster. She was all smiles until I told her that I hope no one in her family was ever in my shoes. And THAT is when she acted like she suddenly gave a da*n. It was all smiles and quoting policy until I broke it down to her and how it could affect her family, THEN she cared. I'd die before I ever went back to this low rent pharmacy for anything again in my life. MARIA the floater was rude AF and I'm gonna be calling corporate office to complain too. I placed an order last night for 4 bottles of bleach that was on sale. I put for adjustments any brand. I get an email that says my order was cancelled, I'm assuming because the item is out of stock. Any other store would substitute but this store just cancels the orders. Only reason I ordered from here is because online my usual store showed out of stock. There is no way your entire store was sold out of bleach, therefore there should have been some type of substitution. Never doing pickup here again. read more

The staff in the pharmacy is all very rude and disrespectful. They will not fill medications even for illnesses if it is past the time they feel like working. I have a problem every single time no matter the time of day. The clerk technician that rings you out always moves as slow as she can so that she won't have to fill anyone else script. I've worked in pharmacy in all areas and I have never felt inclined to leave somewhere a bad review until now. Work somewhere else if you do not have passion for helping people. read more

Came here to get a passport photo and the lady at the photo center was on her cell phone when we first arrived as there were two other people in front of us. I believe her name was Lordy or something. Then she went to the back and came back out 5 minutes later. She came back out and we asked if passport photos were taken here. She told us yes but come back at 2:00pm. We informed her we couldn't wait that long because we have an appointment time to meet, so she informed it would be 20 minutes. Instead of helping us she started to call people over from the checkout line near the front instead, not sure why. Thank god the young lady named Aliyah came in, she immediately came in and helped me get my photo taken and printed finally. What could have been a quick 5-10 minute process took roughly an hour or so. Glad I don't have to come back to this location again for any reason. read more

This Walgreens is located at the South Cobb Drive and Windy Hill intersection. I pass by this location almost daily, but am usually a CVS type of guy, but recently swung in on my way home to inquire into photo printing and to pick up a few things. The first thing I noticed at this location is that they are not stocked very well. Several aisles seemed to be in disarray and had quite a few empty spots. The OTC medication that I came in search of was sadly one of the items that were out. Service was also lackluster here. I can remember when Walgreens was the go-to spot for quick service and major pharmacy brands, but the last few, including this location, has shown there has been a clear shift in that dynamic through condition of the stores and poor service. My experience here was one where I felt like I was a bother by being a customer. The associate at the front had zero time for my questions relating to products and such. There was no one working the floor, so I naturally directed my inquiry to them...that was a mistake. I feel like I legit left the store with less information than I had when I arrived. They were unconcerned with helping at all. I had two items in hand and after the interaction, I simply left them at the register and decided to swing by the Kroger up the street. Overall, this Walgreens is off of my list for spots for anything at all. Ill go back to my go-to brand from here on out. read more

I love Walgreen!!!! This is one of my favorite stores to shop!!!! This particular location is always stocked, I absolutely love the seasonal aisle, so many great items to choose from, and they have wine, a nice selection might I add. They are also open till midnight, and I can always go there during the holidays, even Christmas & Thanksgiving Day. I was able to go and grab a last minute Christmas gift for my neighbors kid, they bought me a nice bottle of wine and freshly baked cookies, so I had to go and get the kid something at least. I found a nice crayola light up design kit for a very reasonable price and a giant candy cane. I also found wrapping paper and a nice card, I also picked up a gallon of milk while i was out.Walgreen saved the day!!!! Even though I don't use Walgreen pharmacy, I always hear great things and I may stop being lazy and transfer to them sometime in the near future. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. First off, I and my family have been using this store for many years, espe for the pharmacy. This store has gone down hill SO bad over the past couple of years. Go ahead and blame it on covid or whatever, but these people are now rude and just don't care about their community. It takes forever to pick up prescriptions, and now the pharmacist has days where she doesn't even care to come to work, so people's vaccines get canceled without any notice. It was also canceled on this past Saturday, that the store decided to call within 15 minutes of the appointment. I hate to think that I have to switch from this store that my family, especially my late mom, used for many many years and had a relationship with the former employees. My mother would be ashamed of how this pharmacy operates now. read more

Reasons to go to another pharmacy: 1. Pharmacy is open till 9 but they stop taking prescriptions at 8! 2. It takes 2 hours to fill a prescription for amoxicillin and then you don't get a call, text or email to let you know that it's ready! 3. You call and wait 5 minutes for someone to pick up phone only to hear them put you on hold for another 2 minutes! 4. Ask why they didn't do as they said they would and be told they never said that! There's a Walgreens on South Cobb by Cumberland that has better service. read more

This Walgreens is horrible at 2390 S. Cobb. They don't stock well. The pharmacy is a nightmare. Your medicine is never ready and the tall female pharmacist with all the weave is so rude. She has a very thick accent from somewhere, but she has a habit of screaming at people when she is overwhelmed. You can request a refill on Monday and on Friday, it won't be ready. It is an old and dated location. Please go elsewhere. read more

Find another Walgreens. This place is horrible at 2390 S. Cobb. The pharmacist are rude. The workers are incompetent. They never have your orders ready and don't care to let you know.
