This Walgreens is pretty much like the others-if you've been inside one, you know what the layout is. I appreciate the consistency and familiarity. This one, however, was not as well-stocked as most others that I have visited. To be fair, they did have the product that I came for, but I saw so many barren shelves and low amounts of inventory that it made me think perhaps they are closing soon? Or maybe I came before the shelves were to be stocked. I take it back-the layout is not as familiar as I would have preferred either. The line to queue up to check out starts toward the back of the store, backwards from what your intuition would be. I made the mistake of going the wrong way, as did a few other patrons. It made a slight awkward interaction when it came time for the cashier to serve the next person in line. We figured it out, but I could imagine that it could be improved. However, I was able to get in and out, barring the slight check-out confusion, with the item I came to purchase. So it ain't all bad. read more

The pharmacy is so incompetent it is unbelievable. moving all of my prescriptions, the inconvenience is nothing compared to the incompetent staff who keeps picking up and putting you back on hold over and over. Calls and asks you to call back, sends notices the prescriptions are ready and they aren't. Pay attention Walgreens, drug stores are going out of business for poor customer service. I can't imagine other people aren't getting tired of the poor customer service here. read more

This Walgreens hasn't had AC in the worst heat wave we've ever experienced for the past 4 weeks?! The customers in here are grumpy and unhappy and I know because being in the store for even a minute to grab makeup was terrible. When I think about it, There's no way the meds are staying cool enough in this setting. It's absolutely terrible in here. Why does a multi billion dollar corporation have NO AC?! I moved to St George 5 months ago. The Walgreens where I lived was great. Always emailing and texting to keep me informed. I've been trying this location on Sunset in St George and it's just not doing the job. Even the technicians admit they are behind and overwhelmed. Does Walgreens have a corporate office to help their struggling stores that are obviously poorly managed? It's pretty clear there is a problem at this store and pharmacy. Perhaps just too big to really care about poor service. It's obvious they don't read their reviews and correct their poor service. read more

Again I'm setting in a car line to pick up prescriptions because the window inside is closed due to staffing. The last time I did this was several weeks ago at the St George Blvd location and sat in line for over an hour. Whoever thought this idea up are idiots! I understand the labor shortages but for people to sit in their cars is ludicrous. All I'll say is the Sunset location is better organized with people not cutting in as was the case on St George. To complicate situations with Walgreens here is their messing up our prescriptions. In Vegas we had the best Walgreens and pharmacist, and rarely had issues! We've had it with Walgreens here in St George we'll find an independent one that can assist us better. read more

Went to visit the drive thru pharmacy to pick up one prescription and the pharmacist Vai was very rude and before I could ask any questions about my prescription she already had the phone set down. The Walgreens pharmacy on Sunset Blvd in Saint George is either criminal, or criminally incompetent. They routinely fill my prescription incorrectly. If I were the type of person did not read, or understand, the labels on my medicine, I would be taking the wrong medication and become possibly very ill, or worse. The most recent time they filled my prescription incorrectly, I was in a hurry, and was all the way home before I checked the label. When I noticed it was the wrong medicine, I went back to the pharmacy, and asked for a refund. They denied my refund. Not only did I have the wrong drug, AGAIN; I was forced to pay for said wrong drugs. They are taking a HUGE liability gamble by forcing people to pay for and keep drugs they have no use for. If I were a criminal type, I could sell these wrong drugs I was given by Walgreens, and let Walgreens deal with the repercussions. If I were the trusting type, I could consume these wrong drugs that I was given by Walgreens, and let Walgreens deal with the repercussions. This strikes me as a DANGEROUS way to run a pharmacy. PS. The reviews about long, long wait times are all true. But long, long wait times are not potentially criminal. read more

I bought a pair of slippers at Walgreens on Bluff Street when I tried them on at home because they were in a box they did not fit. I tried to return them with the receipt and a bag and the manager said we do not accept seasonal items. It's still November, I asked if I could exchange it for something else and he said no. That is ridiculous that you can't return an item that you just purchased a few days ago with a receipt because it's considered seasonal. So, don't buy any seasonal items there if you want to return them for the wrong size. read more

I do have some hope for this location, it seems as if they are getting some better people. But in the last 6 months I have had 3 serious errors with refills. First, I was given someone else's prescription, then two refills with the wrong quantity, and lastly a changed drug without notification. I will now check each refill before leaving the store or parking area. The ops manager thought this was a "good idea". I think their error rate is terrible and corporate should be doing better oversight and control. read more

I went there to get my COVID vaccine. The man who gave me the shot was completely incompetent . Did NOT wear gloves, pocked me a few times and his excuse was that it was because I was nervous ... then he was going to put a bandaid on and put it in a lower spot!! Not on the right place where he administered the vaccine!!! I had to tell him that was the wrong place!!! Unbelievable! Not to mention he was one hour late. I do not recommend going there to get your vaccine or any shot for that matter . Not wearing gloves would tell you what kind of hygiene procedures these people follow. read more

I miss the happy, smiling, welcoming store checkout persons. Today in checkout the clerk had no smile, no hello, no interaction except to practically throw my receipt at me. Seems Walgreens is phasing out the nice, kind, considerate checkers for women who it's obviously a bother to them for a customer to check out. In the past month there are only 2 ladies that are still as I kind as can be. Because of those two ladies I will be back in hopes they will be there to check me out. Walgreens needs to have a serious staff MTG and tell their unkind staff that even though they don't want to be there to at least fake a smile and kindness as the customer they are frowning upon maybe ill, uncomfortable, hurting etc and a smile and kindness will go a long way. read more

I have definitely had some not-so-great experiences with employees over the years at this location, but my last visit today was very pleasant! I had to get my passport photo taken and the employee was so kind and talked to me about my trip. He was extremely friendly and made my day much better. Don't buy any food here! Bought some ice cream sandwiches and opened them when I got to the car. They had melted all over inside the box and been refrozen!!!! Went back in to return them immediately and kept getting questioned if those were the ones I just bought- as if I carry around refrozen foods with me. Service was slow and horrible, had to renter my number a million times and they didn't know what to do. read more

We needed a few items and got there five minutes before closing (they made a loud announcement as soon as we walked in). Several employees tried to hurry us so they could close, but they didn't know their own store. Instead of just telling us the general vicinity for what we needed, they should have walked with us to the necessary aisles. I found one item on my own while THREE of their employees were looking. So don't give us stink eyes when you can't help. read more

So far, they've been good. Employees have inquired if I needed service. Their pharmacy, while extremely busy, gave me my flu shot within 30min. While waiting, a couple of rude customers were shouting at the pharmacy staff about having to make two trips for a prescription that was already there. I would say to obtain the person's name who you speak to, so if they cannot find your medication, inform them who you spoke with. Lots of times the med has been called in by the MD ofc,NYE the has to be filled. Perhaps this is where the confusion lies? Giving benefit of the doubt to their employees as I deal with ill customers daily. read more

I had another pharmacy try and call so I could transfer a prescription. They called numerous times, left on hold for 30 minutes then Walgreens would hang up in them. Now I need to get a new prescription from my doctor who is located out of state. I was told by my new pharmacy that it's been a long going battle trying to reach anyone at Walgreens. I am not sure what has happened to the Walgreens over the years but very disappointing to see that it's not about the customers anymore it is about the corporation. My dad was released from the hospital at 6pm and we went to get his prescription, and they were closed. Closed on a Saturday evening by 6pm I guess no one needs a pharmacy after that. What happened to the Walgreens that use to be open 24hrs. Thought that was all, nope went back the next day and they are closed for lunch. What happened to the days where they could keep a pharmacy running even when people took lunch. So not only are they closing earlier they now are closed during a partial time during that. So hopefully if you need a medication filled or are released from the hospital later in the evening you don't need medicine, because they won't be there for you. read more

I like Walgreens because if one location doesn't have your prescription or you are in another city or state you can just stop at another location and pick it up with no problems. This particular location has great staff and the Pharmacist and techs are really nice. They are pretty quick in the drive thru. And the inside of the store is clean and well organized. read more

Weird rude service. Tried to make a simple return because an item opened and spilled in the bag in which I bought it. Instead of saying a simple yes, the cashier judged me and gave me a nasty look before returning it. So unnecessarily rude. Should have been a simple interaction. read more

I frequent the Sunset Walgreens only because my drug plan requires it. Recently, I received a check from Walgreens for a discount they failed to give me on a prescription. I took the check to Walgreens to pay for the purchase of 2 Christmas cards. Upon seeing their check they told me they wouldn't cash it. I asked why and there began the accusations that I was being difficult and that they were not a bank. This was coming from both a woman store manager and clerk whose names were not obvious. This experience was rather frustrating and embarrassing as the clerk admitted that they have taken the checks before but couldn't remember how to handle it. They take personal checks but not their own. This is not the first time I have found the staff at this location uncooperative. read more
