Service? Does that include billing/bookkeeping? Family pharmacys have found a way to survive. They have banded together and package and deliver to senior living/nursing facilities. Should be a grand idea after the big box and mailorder companies ate their lunch. All family pharmacys are not the same. I have also experienced Red Rock here in St. George. Hurricane Family Pharmacy which services St George, should stay in Hurricane. They are not quite ready for "prime time". I cannot speak for packaging and deliveries. Only to say that medications totaling $9 were to be held up from a patient for non-payment. Mind you a credit card for billing had been left on file. Numerous times I have been asked for payment. I only ask that a statement for charges be sent to my e-mail to submit with my court paperwork. What is attached is the poor representation of an invoice or statement page. Oh phone calls leave me on hold up to 10 minutes. By then I just hang up. While on hold you get a "drug" lesson. Whoopee. Can't spect to selection. If it's alternate establishments...must be someone better or these guys will go out of business again. No comment on value. They don't value customers or give a hoot. I will never set foot in that place again. First the guy I think the owner lied to me. My DR. sent a prescription to be filled he told me there was no prescription and they don't carry that. He said they don't have any in stock. I went back home to call doctor's office, when I told them what the pharmacist said she said I'm looking at it on my computer we sent the prescription over. The Doctor's office called me back in 15 minutes and told me I could pick up the supplies in 30 minutes at Hurricane Family Pharmacy. So he lied about not having what I needed. They also do not support veterans, will not accept Tri-Care. The girl working there was charging me full price for a fourth of the order I had to ask several times about the price being so high before she found the rest of it. read more

I have been getting my prescriptions from Walmart for years. Last month Walmart was unable to fill my prescriptions so I called around and found that Hurricane Family Pharmacy had my pain medication in stock! Imagine my surprise to find that this medication was $50 less than at Walmart!! I am now a return customer to Hurricane Family Pharmacy! With savings like that why go anywhere else!! I forgot to mention how nice the staff are. Very friendly and courteous. read more

Went in for some bandages. 6 or 7 people working behind the counter. Not one 'hello' or 'can we help you'. Not even eye contact. Bandages were 40% more than Walgreens. Waited at the counter to pay for almost 5 minutes. No acknowledgement of our presence. Walked out never to return. read more

Pharmacist Trent Decker is the only person I've dealt with at the Hurricane family Pharmacy, but if Trent is indicative of the rest of the staff, and I assume he is because of his choice to affiliate with them, its an A-1 operation. Trent is a very personable individual that also exudes professionalism that instills confidence, which is a necessary characteristic in a professional such as a pharmacist. Moreover, when necessary, Trent has gone above and beyond the call of duty to assure that I've received my medication timely. My long superb dealings with Trent reflect so positively on the entire Hurricane Family Pharmacy that I'm comfortable in giving it a 5 star rating and recommending it to others. A. I would recommend this pharmacy over all the others in Hurricane! They are always super friendly! They don't take very long to fill new prescriptions. And they are always happy to answer questions. Also, if your insurance doesn't completely cover your costs, they check to see if there are coupons available to bring the cost down. read more

Worst and most incompetent pharmacy ever! I had to use them as they are the only pharmacy that has the medicine I have to have. The girl/lady on the phone was so rude, maybe she was having a bad day? I just couldn't believe how rude she was so finally I started just not being nice back. Well, she said my medicine would be delivered the next day (Friday) because their deliveries already went out, it wasn't so I called on Monday and she said they don't deliver to me so she was sending it out that day. This was medicine I had to have. If I would have know that I would have gone and picked it up. My meds didn't end up getting to me until Saturday (9 days after I was supposed to start it) and guess what? It wasn't all there so I couldn't start it (I think she did it on purpose) so I had to wait until Monday and call the dr's office who then called the pharmacy to get mad at them for not sending all my meds. So then they sent them (now two weeks passed when I was to start it - it's ok, it's not like it isn't life saving for my baby) and then they charged me shipping again! Plus the needles they sent, can't be used for this damn medicine and I had to go to a competent pharmacy and get the ones I could use with it. I would rather drive to Salt Lake, Vegas, Cali or wherever but never to this damn pharmacy! I'm disputing the unauthorized charges for shipping on my credit cards for them messing up also! read more

I love my pharmacy! They have always treated me with friendliness & warmth. I won't go anywhere else now! They don't over charge and are very quick to get me my prescription. I can't recommend this place highly enough. When I first moved to the area, I used Walgreens, which did a good job. When my insurance changed, they no longer covered prescriptions filled at Walgreens. Thinking my insurance would most likely include other large chains, I tried Walmart and Lin's. Walmart was helpful, but not in network. The pharmacy at Lin's was not helpful and ended up being a very negative experience. They claimed they could not accept my insurance, even though the insurance company said they were in network. At my wit's end, I gave the Hurricane Family Pharmacy a try. My insurance company said they were in network, too, but I was hesitant after my experience at Lin's pharmacy. I shouldn't have worried! The folks at HFP filled my prescription within a few hours and gave me no hassle about my insurance. They offer text alert updates about filled prescriptions and it looked like they had a great selection of medical supplies and supplements, including CBD oil and probiotics. I'm so glad I gave them a try and will definitely continue using them. read more
