A huge shout out and thank you to customer service rep Jennifer, here at this Walgreens!! (38th Ave N & 57th St N) She is always upbeat, friendly and makes each "pop-in" a joy. Many folks working in customer service these days are understandably frustrated/irritated, but Jennifer is the exception. As always, the pharmacy is the busiest portion of the store. Regular Walgreens employees are wandering amiably around doing busy work, but the pharmacy employees are hustling hard. It's a shame that they only give them 1/2 hour for lunch when the competition grants their employees one hour. Then again, their competition is going out of business, and Walgreens is still going strong! read more

I custom ordered,and paid for, a photo gift. After waiting for 11 days, I went to the store to get it, only to find out they never actually ordered it. I should have expected this when I was initially dealing with the two dopes in the photo department. When I went to get it the only thing he could tell me was "it was sold eleven days ago". I said "well yeah, I CUSTOM ordered it eleven days ago, and was required to pay for it then because it was CUSTOM ordered". This guy is allegedly the manager. read more

DO NOT USE PHARMACY! This RX pharmacy is ALWAYS OUT OF MEDS! Takes 5-7 days to fill prescriptions or they give you generic or only half your number of pills because they state "waiting on delivery" Pharmacist and Manager are very rude and immature. The sole purpose of an RX Pgarmacy is to fill prescriptions! They are out of everything, ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT STOCK UP KNOW YOUR PATIENTS, DATES AND NUMBERS PER DAY! called to refill couple days ago, you can only talk to a recording-no person option-was told via recording they need to call MD, ok, but will be ready tomorrow. called again today, message said no such prescription on file. Was able to talk to a person who disconnected me. I went to the store was told the MD needed to be called. This is not the first time, why not call the other day as the message said it would. There are staff in the pharmacy who think they walk on water and can say what ever they want to a customer--not with me buddy. I know a couple people in the neighborhood who will never set foot in this store, I need to find another pharmacy. read more

What a low store this is. During HURRICANE RECOVERY we are working locally as recovery haulers for the City of St Petersburg but this store had NO DESIRE to help us even with a basic request that we were more than willing to PAY FOR! We requested a recovery placard printed just on a basic sheet of paper. The "store manager" on duty was beyond rude and I truly hope she is not a true reflection of walgreens values. Walgreens corporation should be absolutely ASHAMED of this employee and her behavior! I will be sharing all the way to the top as this was a true DISGRACE! Saddest part... this is my local home town store the we visit multiple times a week. I am disappointed with the city I live in and the way people are treating each other. read more

The store is clean and majority employees are very friendly and personable. Pharmacy techs are hit or miss... I've been coming to this Walgreens for a few years now. I had my passport photos done there and bought medicine, soaps, and cosmetics, toiletries. Occasional snack, as well. Photos quality is pretty poor, so I wouldn't order again, as I left most of those behind before... My favorite employee is their woman in cosmetics (I'm awful for not remembering the name). She's always well put together. Pretty makeup, so I'm confident she knows what she's talking about and her recommendations are spot on! Always friendly and sweet. read more

We live with in walking distance and go here regularly. The store is always clean, well stocked and the employees are helpful and curtious.

Not sure why anyone recommended this pharmacy. The pharmacist got shitty with me on the phone. I asked a question about my medication being available and with one second she answered we do not have it. Must've memorized everything they had. Lol. Then when my script was called in she told my provider "she wasn't comfortable filling it". Caused me to find a new pharmacy and added two days without my prescribed medication. Maybe she should re-read the pharmacist oath. It's starts with " I will consider the welfare of humanity and relief and suffering my PRIMARY concerns". Not your own overinflated ego. read more

Always a better choice than CVS in my opinion. Better selection, better prices, and the store format is much better.
