Lady at counter Tina was extremely rude and nasty over buying cigarettes. Because my husband asked for them but his Id was in the car, she rudely said I can refuse this sale, so I gave her my Id and husband went to car and got his. We will not stop at this location ever again. She didn't have to be rude about it. I know their is laws. This is the first speedway I have variates since I lived in Florida for 3 years and I'll keep continuing to go to RaceTrac and Wawa. Seems to be a newer Speedway gas station. Pumps have lil flat screen televisions on them. Good price. DQ next door. I prefer Checkers, especially for its prices, but if you miss Vermont you can pick up a Blizzard. Speedway also has its own convenience store inside if you need beef jerky or snacks. read more

The white male manager was extremely rude and racist. I can't repeat everything he said to me but it was very insensitive to Indian/brown skinned people. He overheard a personal conversation I was having on MY cellular phone and I was essentially blamed for 911 while merely attempting to purchase bottled water. I will never ever go back to this store and I will be alerting the other active members of my mosque of this behavior. This will not stand, this aggression will not stand. I am so totally freaked out right now by the jerk that I just saw in Speedway! I have a service dog, named Uno, he goes everywhere I go. He is a corgi mix by nature corgis are friendly. I picked him because of this. I was standing at the cooler case reading a label on something because I have to check everything for my food allergies, when this guy comes around the corner And gives me crap about Uno. I greeted him very friendly with a how are you doing today? And his answer was I'll be better when you're stinky Pet gets away from me. I said he's not a pet he's a service dog. His response was what do you need a service dog for because you're obese? I have never been faced with such nasty rudeness in my entire life. I know I am overweight it's part of my health problems. But I have never ever had someone walk up to me and call me obese. And the manager at this speedway did absolutely nothing to come to my defense. Normally I come to the store because I have a friend who works here during the day. But this is the last time I will come in here until the management apologizes to me for allowing that smarmy jerk to treat me in such a manner! And since I drive for Lyft, I get gas almost daily, which means they're gonna lose some serious business. And heaven help if the people on my Tampa Bay list for Lyft drivers hears about this because they'll boycott this place too. read more

I have not gone inside this business for years; merely purchase gas outside, pay and leave. Today, however, I was hoping to clean my windshield as it had recently met with a fair amount of bird shit. Apparently this is yet another convenient service that this business no longer offers. Gone were the squeegees and cleaning solution as well as paper towels. No gas pump had any and the solution containers now appear to be trash cans. Very disappointed that Speedway has joined so many businesses of today that discontinue any extras for the customer. Although Speedway is the nearest station to my home, I will purposely search out another on my various routes that still offers this small but much appreciated amenity. read more
