The customer service is great! This is the 2nd time I've used this Publix location for their catering for events, one for a wedding and the other for a baby shower. Both times were a success. I use the Publix app to seamlessly order what I need plus you can add notes or comments for each item. Some items require at least 24 hours in advance but I made sure to order a few days before the event to ensure adequate time for the crew to prepare. On the day of the event, there was a hiccup at pickup at the deli section. I set the time for it to be done around 10 AM. Around 11:30 AM I got a text message from my lady picking up saying the deli section wasn't fully ready so she went to customer service for assistance. The manager issued a refund for the popcorn chicken so we appreciate their customer service. Everyone loved the food and I can count on Publix for their quality and care. The bakery items of pastries and cookies were a hit too! Shopping is a pleasure at your local Publix! read more

Everything is great about Publix! I moved from FL to DE and there's not a Publix in sight. I miss the Keylime pies, rotisserie chickens, red potato salad and boarshead subs the most! Lots of great BOGO's, meats and produce. Every time I go south I absolutely have to hit up the best grocery store ever! It's not the cheapest, but the quality is always good. I love Publix, I wish they would open a store near me. This beats out Safeway, Harris Teeter, Acme, Aldi, Costco, bj's, super Walmart, Giant, Food Lion and all the others. Been going to the pharmacy at this location for about 7 years . The pharmacists working there seemed efficient but maybe not too happy to be there . Hunter is there now and he is amazing . He truly seems to care about his customers . I was having a hard time getting my prescriptions called in and Hunter saw I was getting frustrated and he jumped in and took care of the situation. I've always been happy with the employees at Publix. They're always willing to go above and beyond for a customer; however, I was there today and had a cashier named David. I accidentally dropped my card on the floor and couldn't pick it up, perhaps because of my nails. I tried about eight times. He just stood there. He didn't help me. He didn't even say anything. Luckily another customer came up behind me and got it off the floor. This is not what I would expect from a Publix employee. read more

Everyone is always nice here, they say hi and offer to help if you're looking for something. It is not as busy in the morning so I can get in and out without traffic in the store. Publix pharmacy on Main St in Dunedin Florida is the worst of the worst. Cap on vial opened when I opened bag and half of vial emptied out. Also,they made me pay with a discount card rather than take my UHC insurance. Unbelievable! Never again. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service of any Publix Pharmacy that I have ever experienced. They consistently disappoint with poor follow through on filling prescriptions. My doctor calls in a prescription and the pharmacist tells me that they can't fill it because it's too soon (1 day early) Despite the fact that I have asked to get my prescription a day early due to my constant travel for work, I get no help from this Publix Pharmacy at Granada Plaza. I previously lived in Land O Lakes and the Publix Pharmacy was great. This one is the reason why Publix is losing my business. I know that one customer leaving won't hurt them but if other's are experiencing the same issues, I am probably not alone. Luckily, moving again to a different part of town and plan to give CVS/Target a try. read more

This is one of the smaller Publix locations I've been too, but the proximity to work makes it an easy and convenient spot to grab a few things as needed. More specific items can for recipes can be harder to find here, but I've never had an issue finding the basic necessities. They also had a nicer deli department that isn't as crowded or chaotic as the deli at Belcher can get sometimes, so I can stop in to grab a quick lunch without worrying about being late for work. read more

My rating is specific to this location's produce department. It's awful! I shop there twice a week and 50% of the time I have to throw away moldy fruit or vegetables. If you need produce, do not go to this Publix location. read more

I shop at the Publix Granada Plaza all of the time. But, very disappointed with my last purchase. "Greenwise" Chicken Breasts were BOGO. Great deal. Well, I had thought so. Got home and receipt did not show BOGO.. Went back to Publix, Customer Service. (A very rude, big woman behind counter) looked at my receipt & said Oh, no BOGO does not include Greenwise "Breast Filets". To my surprise, when I took them out of the package, they were identical! Just boneless chicken breasts! No difference at all. Plus they were stacked together in the refrigerated section. They were also marked "Greenwise". There is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between a Chicken Breast or a Chicken Filet! This was very unfair from Publix and next time I will ask the "cashier" to wait until I have put all items on the conveyor to make sure I am being charged correctly for BOGO items. It's hard enough these days to manage and purchase food at reasonable prices. I always thought very highly of Publix, but now feel very different on their policies. This "Greenwise" chicken should have been covered under their BOGO Ad. Plus the fact that the woman behind the counter made me feel stupid and she was the one being rude and unfriendly. On my last visit, I brought my 4-year old daughter on a lunch-break dash for some water, avocados, pitas and whatever else might catch my fancy. Lauren was hard at work, negotiating for a bakery cookie, and we headed over there right after grabbing a cart. Someone was there to greet us within seconds, asking politely which delicious morsel my princess wanted. She chose chocolate chip cookie (she always does), and we headed through the crowded deli line on our way to the produce section. Why are there never any ripe avocados? I spend more time testing avocados for ripeness than I do picking up everything else on my list. This day was no different, and Lauren and I moved like a pair of smooth criminals through the aisles. We willed our basket and slipped right into a short line. Checking out was a breeze, like always. I would recommend this Publix to anyone in the area. It's great! read more

Something interesting happened while in Publix, Main Street; while shopping with my wife. And it is a rare occurrence as we asked a store employee for a location for a product and the associate "waved" in the general direction where the item might be found. Normally, this situation would be overlooked, but I had suffered for weeks with a agonizing cold; coughing, wheezing, etc. Nevertheless, at this stage of existence and I needed assistence. So I passed another associate and overlooked the previous help and moved on. But, wait, in the distance was w fellow bending to put away products and he seemed busy. He was however, not too busy to help me. Jesse, seemed to leap at the change to help me. Perhaps, his newness as a an associate on duty peaked, his awareness of a sensed need. But he certainly gave a great try! Jesse, had great presence and displayed understanding that we seniors needed special care, perhaps knowing that he too will reach this status some day. I decided that although the item that I needed was actually not in the store, Jesse made a thorough check using his scanner and his electronic device to ascertain facts. I then took Jesse to the store manager, Mr. Kostacky and extolled Bro. Jesse's talents. My cold did not go away, that day, but thanks Publix for going the longer way and boosting my spirits. It is hoped that Jesse receive the rewards due him in his life work and education. May he set the example for other young people who are also just beginning their careers and "hold on to the light" of peace, love and understanding. read more

I've been going to this store for over three years and the service has always been good. Today, we had a cashier named Tally and she was excellent. She was alert as to what her customers are talking about. I told my husband they were out of the $50 Shell gas cards so I had to get two $25 cards. Tally had a $50 card and gave it to us and took our two $25 dollar card. She also made sure she got out $1 coupon of the cat food can. She folded the receipt and put our gas card and gas receipt along with our cash neatly together and handed it to me. Thank you Tally for the little things. read more

I was at this Publix today Sunday November 6th 2022. After shopping for what I needed I stopped at the deli to pick up a two piece chicken dinner. I noticed that there were no chicken pieces available. I asked the person behind the counter if they had a chicken breast and wing that I wanted a two piece dinner. He told me that it was going to be 20 minutes. I told him I would wait. 45 minutes later they began to bring out boxes of a piece chicken. I asked the man if I could have the two-piece dinner. He told me that they did not have any but boneless chicken strips would be available in 10 minutes. If I wanted the chicken I would have to buy the box. This is totally unacceptable. Making a customer wait for 45 minutes for something you were not going to provide them. But you told them you were going to at first. It's just not the first time this has happened it happened one other time about 6 months ago the exact same thing. I frequently visit desert deli 90% of the time I find the chicken to be cold and tough. This is a clear violation of the State of Florida licensing board. Best person completely wasted my time. read more

This is my neighborhood publix, and I usually love coming here to grocery shop. But recently I have changed my pharmacy from Walgreens to publix because it is closer to my house and I totally regret it! This pharmacy is the slowest and most unorganized place I've ever been. I call in my prescriptions early to ensure they will be ready for pickup and every single time they tell me it will be ready by a certain time, I arrive there and have to wait 20-30 minutes. And once and a while I don't mind because I know they are probably busy, but when it involves people's time, the staff should be more aware. Today was the worst, I got here at 8 pm after I was told my script would be filled by 5 pm, and the pharmacist told me to wait and my other script is out of stock. Now I think the extra drive time is worth it at Walgreens, I never experienced this. read more

Time after time I continue to have problems with the customer service at this location. I was told earlier in the day I could use competitors coupons. I went there spent over $50 to get the $10 off and Amanda the bagging girl said earth origins isn't a grocery store. Then the "manager" a timid lady named Brittany who avoids speaking to customers at all finally came over after our register wouldn't work to say that the grocery store was not within 5 miles. Funny I mapped and it's exactly 3.6 from door to door. Uneducated, unapologetic, inexperienced customer service and staff. Always a horrible experience. I'll be moving shortly and I can't say I will miss this publix at all. There is also a customer service lady who sold us the wrong lotto ticket and at the time of purchase said I still had to pay at the customer service. I wrote in and the manager advised we go to customer service and get a refund. We went but got scolded by the "customer service" staff that this isn't normal.. well making us pay for something we didn't ask for at the time of purchase isn't normal protocol either. The store itself is fine. It's the young summer help that is the problem. The hipster who bagged my groceries made several un-necessary, impolite comments on my food choices. Not the usual, " how do you like this?" But "who eats this?" And "Oh wow, a whopping 16 grams of protein in this." Publix has the best business model but in this case, they need to train their summer help hipsters to interact appropriately. read more

I recommend using a different publix, the staff at the deli is very rude and has no manners for others. The manager was nice but we ordered our subs 20 minutes before showing up and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. We show up and our subs were not even started, the lady did not switch gloves and barely cooked our subs as well as putting the wrong toppings on. I'm so angry publix would allow their employees to work in such a bad mood. Not one but over 5 employees behind the deli counter gave me and my wife nasty looks like they hated there jobs. I love Publix. After living in areas that did not have a Publix, I have a deep appreciation for Publix. There is only one other grocery chain that might be better but alas there is none of those to be found in FL. One of the best things about Publix is their customer service. I love that you can order items that they do not stock or get a rain check when items are out of stock. If an item rings up incorrectly than you get one free and others for the listed price. If you forgot a coupon at home you can bring it in with your receipt and get cash back for the value of the coupon. For the most part the employees are friendly and helpful. This store is busy and there can be a wait at the Deli counters but the fresh yummy subs are always well worth the wait. I enjoy going to this store because it is the only one in the area that takes the Save-A-Lot $5 off $25 coupons. This store will also give you cash back if your coupons are worth more than the items in your purchase. This seems to be different at each store but here it is possible to get paid to shop and it is awesome! read more

As much as I LOVE Publix. I do not love this particular store. Management and workers are friendly, but the store itself is a nightmare. Dodging the Q-tips in the parking lot is pretty bad, hoping they don't hit your car when they decide to run the stop sign. And then you get in the store. It is way to small for the volume of people shopping there. I'm hoping when Caladesi opens back up it will relieve some of the traffic at this store. They are frequently out of sale items on the first or second day of the sale, but I continue to shop here out of convenience. I have yet to find a time when this store isn't packed morning, noon, and night 7 days a week they are packed. If you want a quick in and out trip I suggest trying another nearby Publix. read more

Worst customer service out of all the Publix I have been to. What I'm about to explain all occurred in one day. First, I called the deli to place my sandwich order for lunch. When I stopped to pick up my sandwich, the lady at the deli was just plain rude. Second, I stopped in the seafood section to order some sushi and the guy making the sushi just looked at me like he did not know what I wanted to order. So finally he told me it will be about 5 minutes to make everything. As I waited, I was looking at the different choices of salmon. I asked the guy who worked in that department, which one he recommended and was just rude. He said "I don't know, you should get which ever one you like". I'm like how am I supposed to choose if I don't know about the different kinds. Finally as I'm checking out, the cashier was just rude as well. She looked like she didn't even want to be there and did not even greet me. Any who, I will never go back to this Publix again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced at any supermarket, as funny as it sounds. read more
