I told the greeter I was there for pickup and was directed to stand in a line of about 10 people. That alone defeats the entire purpose of ordering online. After I pushed back, she called for help. Another associate came over...only to tell me the exact same thing, to get in line. At that point, I said cancel the order and started to leave. As I'm walking out, she says "you can cancel the order" in a dismissive tone. So I walked back in and asked for the manager. Of course, the person giving the attitude was the manager, Blanca. Instead of resolving anything, she tells me she's busy helping another customer and can't grab my order. Then follows me to the door continuing to explain how busy the store is and that they've had "issues." None of that is the customer's problem. What's wild is that the store was full of associates, yet no one could take 30 seconds to retrieve a prepaid order. No ownership. No urgency. No accountability. I canceled my order with customer service immediately after and will not be returning to this location. If you actually want a seamless experience, go to Tysons Corner, One Loudoun, or Mosaic instead.

I was glad that I had washed and conditioned my hair as that is an extra charge. I showed Virginie the style that I wanted several times and which I did not receive. I took my hair out and found a bald spot from where my hair was pulled soo tight to make up for the giant gap that was left from a part and where they tried to compensate by using a crochet to pull hair from another part to cover the gap. At one time there where three people in my head trying to make this work. A two hour appointment turned into over four hours. And then I was given a "discount " because it was soo long! To the point I just took them all out myself. I was under the impression that because I suffer from thinning hair already that they would be considerate of my situation and work with me as the so called professionals they are to give me a style that would last more than a couple of days. Instead of assuming responsibility and seeking a resolution, the owner engaged in arguments over the phone with me, a returning customer who had paid in full for the services. I was instructed to come back at THEIR convenience and to NOT take out the cornrows so that they could FIX IT, the owner said POUR WATER ON IT to help the pain I was in. They even expressed disappointment that I removed the improperly placed crotchet braids. More than half had already fell out on my pillow as I was laying down with that headache. When I called it was news to me as the owner said they had never used the type of braids I brought in and how the owner had already expressed to the braider that it looked loose, ( I never heard that conversation because they constantly talk to each other in their own native language when clearly they know I'm looking right at them but have no clue what they are discussing).I think the time to communicate that was when I showed them the hair I wanted to use for the style. They happily took my full payment no comments to me that she thought my braids were too loose but that it actually was not enough hair and if I got more I could bring it in to add. I honestly could go on and on. I don't like to write complaints it was hard for me to write this one. I asked for a refund as I could not come back in their time frame and they were booked for the entire weekend. I would have been satisfied with even a partial refund but NO the owner continued with accusations. This lack of accountability and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. The owner should seriously reassess her business practices. I personally know several salon owners who are willing to go above and beyond for their clients. I do not recommend spending your money at this establishment. I have no intention of returning to this salon in the future. I hope no one has to go through the disappointment I did. I already deal with thinning hair and other forms of discrimination. I never expected to be taken advantage of by a fellow small black owned, woman owned business.
