All I can say is WTF? I unfortunately have had to come here a couple times today for my mother in law. First attempt to pick up meds 1 hour in drive through and only 3 cars had been helped, still had 5 in front of me. Left to get lunch. Came back this time tried inside after a hour and 15 I finally reached front of line. Silly thing is there were only like 6 people in front of me so a hour 15 to serve 6 peopleonce again wtf? While waiting in line watching employees ro shambo to see who had to help customers.... really? Now here I stand in line again as My mother in laws Dr. Called in a medication 3 hrs ago and after calling numerous times they finally acknowledge they got the cLl from Dr. Off the machine. So we pay with express pay and I show up and they refused to let me pick up in express. So here I sit almost another hour now and still 5 people in front of me. This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Staff is rude, slow, and all around just dont give a crap. DO BETTER WALGREENS! This is a garbage review for garbage service! This pharmacy does not even deserve a star. Came in to fill a prescription for my husband since he just had surgery. After a 10 minute wait in line, I spoke with a Brittany. I gave her the written prescription and told her it was workers comp. She showed the prescription To the pharmacists and he told her ok. First they had trouble billing the workers comp. Told me they would call me. All the while my husband is at home and in pain. Decided to pay myself and send receipt to workers comp. Called Brittany and told her just to fill it and I would pay for it. I was told it would be 1 1/2 hours. 2 hours later, I call to see what is the hold up. I was told they didn't have the medication and the earliest they might have it is Tuesday. And this is a pain killer for surgery. I told them to forget it and I would just come get the prescription and get it filled elsewhere. When I got there and questioned why they made me wait 5 hours total and never tell me they can't fill it, all they said was sorry. DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED AT THIS PHARMACY! They are terribly undermanned. The line is like the DMV. To top it off they won't call you to let you know if they can't fully fill your prescription because "they're too busy." I had our son's prescription sent there, and dropped by an hour later at 7 pm. After waiting in line for an eternity they told me it would be ready at 9 pm, 2 hours later. Came back at 9 pm and we were told they didn't have the full prescription and that it would be extra for a bigger quantity... When I told them they had 2 hours to call me so I could get it filled elsewhere she pointed at the line and drive-thru pharmacy and gave me a half- hearted sorry. Honestly, they have two overworked techs (which went down to one after one of them went home) and one pharmacist on duty. Walgreens- quit being cheapskates and hire more people! Ridiculous. I've been telling this pharmacy since August that my husband insurance is changing 9/1 and provided them with new card in August but they still billed the old insurance and charged him the old copay. When I brought it to their attention they act like they didn't want to fix it. So I called customer service 5 times in a week. They understood the problem and that it was a problem but still???? I give up but I certainly hope that when healthnet ask for their money back because he wasn't covered under them any more that it doesn't come back to me for Walgreens mistake cause that medicine cost $500! read more

Love this site!!! Not only do I arrive when there is NO LINE, but the service is quick!!! It is always nice to not only go in to fill prescriptions but it is nice they have items I can pick up there rather than having to run into a large store and find myself waiting in lengthy lines for. So today my husband receives a text message letting him know his prescription was ready to be picked up. Low and behold he shows up to pick up his prescription and they say it has not been filled and it will take approximately 30 minutes to have it ready for him. He was upset but agreed to wait. 30 minutes then passed by he went back up to the counter, they once again said his prescription had not yet been filled and it would be yet another 30 minute wait. So my question is to Walgreens, why send a customer a text message letting them know their prescription is ready to be picked up when they haven't even touched it !!!!! Now as a paying customer he makes a complaint and they told him oh well, wait or get out of the store. This is absolutely poor customer service! They are acting as if they are doing their customers some kind of favor by even tending to them, when actuality they are a private business that would not be running if they did not have the customers! This place is a shit show. They literally can't find prescriptions at times. Regardless, I went in there yesterday evening to fill a prescription that I desperately needed. Was told to come back in an hour and half. Well I came back around 11 when my kids went to bed and thing at home were calm. A woman who assisted me at the little window, asked for my information and proceeded to get my prescription. She profiled me the entire time I was standing there. Looking at my hoodie and my hat and calling over the pharmacist to check this out and see if it's right. Well I was told that I couldn't get my prescription because it was within 30 days of my past one which would be up in 3 days and to come back in three days. I said what?! That's why I went to the doctor and brought them a completely new prescription. I wasn't there in a refill. I won't go back here. And will be filling a complaint on the worker. Trust me. When I returned later in the day, NO PRESCRIPTION! They said they didn't have the birthday and couldn't read the last name to verify although I gave them all that information upon drop off including the insurance. I like this Walgreens because it's 24 hours. The store clerks are nice.. BUT the Pharmacy for Walgreens has the most horrible customer service ever. Every single time I go there, I'm waiting for a long time.. which I don't mind because I understand it can be busy sometimes, but why is there always only ONE pharm tech in the front. You guys are one of the oldest huge corporations for pharmacy shouldn't you have more staff?? And let's not talk about the customer service. I've been a customer at the Walgreens on Lower Sac for 25 years. I've gone there for the pharmacy and what ever I need. I go there just about every other day for cigarettes. Last night, I was carded and told it was their new policy to card every one. So, I gave the girl my ID. Even though others just ask for my birthday and type it in. This girl spends more time than needed looking at it and then says. it's expired, we can't except it. I am 51 years old! I ask for a manager and she she also refuses to sell me cigarettes even though I've had both these woman help me on many occasions. Way to go Walgreens. It's bad enough you let homeless people panhandle and camp out just outside your doors, now you're refusing service to customers. I'll be avoiding this crap shack from now on! read more

Incompetent staff and management. I asked the customer service rep for a green dot reloaded able card. Three times in front of 3 customers - told her this is not what I asked for - she continued to ignore my requests - clearly not knowing anything she was doing - and I was left with a card board that I CANNOT USE ANYWHERE. When I contacted the manager at 12:40am on 12/18 (purchase was made at 11pm on 12/17) she told me it was my problem even if it was there mistake. 0 stars because I ask to use the restroom and they say it's out of service. I went to Walgreens not to go to the restroom but to get pain medication. I then had to go and couldn't hold it, my stomach was hurting mind you- I told the lady I cannot hold it after she just came out of the staff bathroom and she asked two other managers and they want to stand in a group and talk about me instead of just having human kindness and letting me go to the restroom. I'm a paying customer and you still say no? Just rude service but that's what's expected around Stockton and almost anywhere nowadays. If someone told you they're about to relieve themselves on the floor bc they can't hold it so bad, why would you just stand there and claim you need permission when there's a working restroom. Have a working restroom for customers since it's an issue to let a customer who asked nicely to go in the staff one which is in the same area. Pharmacy is overstaffed, and yet still never has more than 2 people helping customers. The line can extend around the store aisles and they still move like molasses. The drop off window is never open, I don't know why they even have one. The parking lot is a mess, it's laid out strangely, although there are a ton of spots, so you never have to park far. They have a panhandling problem as well, I'm not sure what their policy is, but there are always people spanging right outside the door. If CVS was any better, I'd change my prescriptions over, but it seems like all pharmacys, at least in Stockton, are terrible. read more

One of the girls in the pharmacy was nice but then she had stepped out and a heavy set women tried to assist me. She got frustrated because she couldn't find my files when it was right in front her. Instead of being calm about it she gave me an attitude when she came back to the window. Now, if I had said anything to her to upset her for her to come back with an attitude then I'd understand but since I didn't. It was just uncalled for. My boyfriend's ear has been leaking yellow fluid for the past 5 days or so. It has been making him feel deaf so we decided to stop by an urgent care, which we were told he has an ear infection. We told the doctor to send the prescription electronically to this Walgreens located on Lower Sacramento Rd since we live nearby. We got here around 9pm knowing the prescription won't be ready until another 30 mins. The lady also told us that she'd call his name through the intercom when his meds are ready. That was perfectly fine, we were in for the wait. It passed 9:30 pm so we waited patiently in line to ask for the prescription. We were told it would be done in another 5 mins. That 5 mins passed and we had to wait another 20 mins on top of that. The line was extremely long with about 10+ people waiting in line. There's a slot in the wall where we were able to speak with one of the pharmacist who also helped us the first few times, notified us that we had to wait in line AGAIN even when our medicine was ready. It was then over an hour later! 10:22 pm. Horrible customer service. The pharmacist completely lied with the wrong amount of time. I don't suggest coming to this pharmacy at all. I had three prescriptions that needed to be filled.I have never liked walgreens pharmacy on lower sac , they are extremely unprofessional and go out my way to use walgreens on Kelly drive. I could not get out of bed , so I had a family member drop off my 3 prescriptions to the nearest Walgreens, which was lower Sacramento . My friend called and said that a pharmacist by the name of Mei was not letting him drop off the prescription because he had no ID. He tried to explain, he left it at the house and would have ID to pick up the script, which is the way I have ALWAYS have had my experiences. I asked him to put me and speaker and explained that I am sick in bed and need my meds and if she could please fill them and we would hAve ID at time of pick up and that I have never had this problem in the past. Mei snapped at me and said "would u like to talk to a manager?" I asked my friend to just leave and I would drive to kelly drive, Mei then tells a co worker to get my name off the prescription and attempts to grab them, while yelling for her co worker to hurry and get management up here now. Mei made a huge scene for no reason, was really odd.I do not have any idea why Mei was so determined to get my name aswell, especially since I was not filling my prescription there. Will not be using this pharmacy ever again and will be filing a complaint as soon as I feel better read more
