This is my backup WAG location that I come to when mine doesn't have what I need. Four stars because I hate the parking lot of this location. Staff is always super friendly and I've never had to wait long for photos or check out. 24-hour pharmacy at this location makes it convenient. You can order online for pickup curbside now also, FYI. And don't forget to signup for their reward program to earn points on your purchases that can turn into cash that you can use on future purchases. read more

Service is horrible at this pharmacy. I have been loyally doing business with Walgreens for many many years. I am Not sure what has happened to the staff at this pharmacy, but this unfortunately has become one of the worst pharmacies to get prescriptions filled. I have had to switch most to another pharmacy which fills with no problems and is clearly able to find the error that the pharmacy techs are making when attempting to fill. read more

My Walgreens is in Ellenton, Florida. DO NOT go to the drive through to drop off a prescription. Go somewhere else. NOT WALGREENS !!!! They have 2 lanes. The one on the right has a sign (IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE) that reads "Pickup Prescriptions" with an arrow pointing to the left window. With NO way to drive through the right window to drop off. So I called (after waiting in line 1/2 hour behind only FOUR cars) They said the speaker doesnt work in that lane Common sense tells you (and I told her) "replace the sign blocking the right lane with one that says PICK UP PRESCRIPTIONS AND COVID TESTS USE LEFT LANE. OR IF YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO US USE LEFT LANE. And MOVE the sign so DROP OFFs can drive to the right window aaarrrggghhh Common Sense is not Common ANYMORE GO ELSEWHERE !!!! read more

I wouldn't normally write an ode to a drugstore, but holy crap this place is incredible! Walgreens has had a store in the Carrollwood Villages shopping center for years and years, and one day they decided to remodel the place. Now we're not talking about replacing a few displays here and there and adding a fresh coat of paint -- nope, these folks built a completely brand-new, state of the art AMAZING facility located just doors away from the original store. The new store is larger with wider aisles, better lighting, and every conceivable product and brand, including greeting cards, health & beauty items, food stuffs, and on and on. In the back of the store is the larger pharmacy area which now has a nice drive-up window. There's also a little medical facility where you can get immunizations and a variety of tests performed by the pharmacists. I stopped in the check out the new store, and then wandered back to the counter and asked about a seasonal flu shot. I filled out one piece of paper, showed them my insurance card, and within moments I had received my shot and was free to continue wandering around the store. No muss, no fuss, and I probably could have gotten a lollipop if I had asked! Very clean store which is well-stocked, and staffed by very friendly people. Oh, and the spacious Walgreens liquor store still sits next to the main drugstore. read more

This is regarding the Walgreens Pharmacy in Carrollwood Village at NDM and Fletcher. Unfortunately this is the closest one to me. Time after time the medications aren't ready when promised. You get an email or a phone call that its ready then drive over and its not. Today meds were supposed to be due at noon I came at 1 pm purposely-not ready. I can't get anyone in the pharmacy to answer their phone they say they don't have the staff to do it????? I have to call the store manager to walk back to the pharmacy to get someone to answer the phone, what a customer service experience, it's a joke every month I have to do this or I have to drive to the store tell them they have my script on file and then come back to pick it up, 2 trips or multiple phone calls. They don't care about their ratings because they make no changes in their service. I don't think this job is hard it's a basic service process but here at this store they can't even answer their phone. read more

SCORE....3 packs for $2 plus I already had a 50 cent off coupon! Also very helpful with finding the cocoa butter moisturizing stick I couldn't find at CVS nor did anyone care when I walked out of CVS annoyed. This is one of my favorite Walgreens locations. I usually really like any location but I feel this one is a bit better. This seems to be a little bit more upscale than most Walgreens. It's really nice looking inside. I am an extreme couponer and they really cater to couponers like me. The strategy for saving the most $ at Walgreens usually involves multiple transactions and they are very patient and quite often excited to see how much I save. Which brings me to their rewards program, Register Rewards. I love it! You get points for purchases and medications. So you can make $ on stuff you're already going to get. You get 5,000 points = $5! Their sales are great, too! The thing that really sets this location apart is the customer service. I have never been disappointed by this location. read more

Very clean and up to date Walgreens. Every aspect of the store is modern.

I will absolutely NEVER fill a script at this location again. One of their employees clearly has a drug problem or is selling them. I filled a prescription there, supposed to be for 30 pills and I got 21 pills. When I went back to talk about it I was called a drug addict. The pharmacist was incredibly rude and dismissed me, I have never felt so horrible or disrespected. At this location I have gotten the wrong meds, the wrong number of pills and been called to pick up my prescription only to show up and have the prescription not be filled. WORST pharmacy ever. Will be changing to anywhere but here. read more

Fantastic pharmacists. My 5 month old needed his abx but my pediatrician called it into the wrong pharmacy. Instead of sending me to the other pharmacy they filled my RX right then and there. Great service. Very caring. Will continue to be a loyal customer read more
