Called corporate in May and went back and forth with emails until this week.There answer was call the number on the back of card.Do you think they could of told me that in the first place. Dogshit pharmacy in which the workers will refuse to fill your medication with no help as to when it could be filled. Walgreens claims via email to call if you need your medication IMMEDIATELY, yet workers couldn't give two shits about you or your mental wellbeing. You can never get through to anybody when you call, when you do, they put you on hold for a half hour and then hang up on you and I'm not exaggerating. Made an appointment for my uninsured friend for COVID testing and it said it was free on their website. I confirmed this multiple times. I get to the window to a very rude woman stating he'd have to pay $128 dollars. Definitely call to check and ask for the name of a person since they're deceptive. read more

This is my local Walgreens. They have always been friendly and I also like their drive through prescription pick up. The layout the about the same cosmetics near the entrance and in the back is where the pharmacy is located. This place does get busy as times, not fond on the parking lot layout. You got to watch out for those crazy drivers turning around the corner of the lot. Overall, nice clean place ole reliable drug store! read more

I had an appointment for my Pfizer booster short on Sept 30. I showed up for the appointment only to find 4 people in line in front of me waiting. So I waited and waited and waited. 45-50 minutes later I get to the register only to find out that the proof of vaccine I have in my apple wallet is not good enough to get the vaccine, so I ask them to keep my appointment while I run home (close by less than 10 minutes) to get my vaccine card. When I get back the line is still there with new people so I wait another 30-40 minutes. I get to the register and now they give me the form to fill out. Apparently it does no good to fill out the form a head of time on the web site, so that was a waste of time. So I fill out the form and when i get a turn I turn it in. Now, I'm told to wait until they call my name. Mind you, the people who were there prior to me needing to run home for the vaccine card are ALL still waiting for the vaccine. About an hour later I finally get called to receive my shot! This was the most poorly organized and/or understaffed pharmacy ever! I had my original shots done at Osco and it was all very expedient, very little waiting time. If this is how Walgreens is going to handle themselves through this pandemic and likely endemic I will not be giving them my business again. 2 1/2 hours minus perhaps 10 minutes for my own mistake of not bringing my card. Walgreens needs to give a little bit less money in profits to their CEOs and spend a lot more money on help at their pharmacies and stores. This is my neighborhood Walgreens that I always go to, so yes I have to love them. I mainly go here to pick up last minute groceries and there is one particular cashier who is super friendly and is always in a great mood. I love going sometimes just so I can get some of that positive energy from her. As for the pharmacy, I'm a bit more critical because I'm a pharmacy student myself but the pharmacy manager, Simon, is wonderful. He's extremely helpful even when I've called near closing a few times to ask about my daughter's medication or what to do if she's sick or just about anything, he's always been happy to help. As for the staff pharmacists, I can't seem to say anything good about them because they don't seem to love doing what they do as much as Simon and I've had too many bad experiences with them. I called to have my father's prescription transferred from a different pharmacy and they said it would be done and ready by evening, but when I went they had no recollection of me calling. Then the day after, I asked them to do it again, and they said it'll be done within the hour. Wrong again. The third day it finally worked because the store manager came in to help the pharmacy during the rush and I told her exactly what happened and it was ready within an hour. Still think this place is great, although the pharmacy can use a bit more cheer. read more

This is my local Walgreens I come to all the time and overall it's alright. I can always find what I want or need and I've never had any problems with the staff. The pharmacy on the other hand is a completely different story. There's this one guy that must think I'm stupid whenever I'm there and have to deal with him. I may be quiet but don't take that stupidity. Also we always seem to have trouble with getting are medicine when there shouldn't be. But besides that sometimes we don't get some things because it's cheaper somewhere else but other than that no problems and they're always nice and ask if we need help. read more

Great customer service in photo! The staff in the photo department is friendly and helpful. I went to pick up photos that I ordered online and I didn't realize I had them printed at the other location on Roosevelt. The employee was nice enough to call the other location to confirm my photos were there, which was so helpful and great customer service. On a separate occasion, I picked up a poster I ordered online. When I noticed a scratch, they immediately printed a new one for me on the spot. read more

I needed my prescription quickly and I was told to wait in the parking lot for 30 minutes. After 45 minutes I finally went inside to be told that I'd have to wait another hour because the pharmacist went on break. Why didn't they tell me that before I spent nearly an hour waiting? Another day, another crappy pharmacy. I filled my prescription the first time here after CVS in Elmhurst royally screwed me over. I guess Walgreens doesn't carry my actual brand of prescription, the one I've been on and has worked for me for nearly 10 years. So they gave me a generic... without telling me they switched it. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to obtain another, correct prescription and so I am stuck taking this off-brand for a month and am already feeling some unsettling side effects. I know, I know, shame on me for not checking that my prescription was correct before leaving the store. But really, if everyone could just do the job they're paid to do, like giving patients the correct medications and/or informing them a switch was made, then the blame wouldn't fall to me. Thanks, Walgreens, for the horrendous stomach cramps. Guess I'll be shlepping my business back to (a different) CVS. Ugh. To its credit, this Walgreens has a decent amount of parking and its big, well stocked, and inviting. Too bad I won't be going back. read more

Called ahead to see if TDaP shot was available. We tried to schedule an appointment and we're told to come in anytime. We came in for the TDaP shot twenty minutes later, and we're refused service. We were told to come back several hours later when they have more staff available. read more

This place is a joke. Shelf's are never stocked. Asked an employee if possible if items where in back and he came back less then 30 seconds later saying no.... cleary he's too lazy to check. I then went in for a second time to get a script filled well over 3 hours later I went back to location cuz nothing was sent via text or call like I was told. I show up to be told the 30 min I spent with the women who took my info didn't do it right. At this point I took my script an left. I highly suggest to not even bother with this location !!!!! read more

I've had nothing but really good experiences at this Walgreens. The ladies working at the photo and cosmetic counters have all provided excellent service, always with a smile. The last time I was in, I got rung up at the cosmetic counter and the woman working the counter was kind enough to go through her box of coupons so I could save some money on my make-up remover wipes and cotton balls. Definitely appreciated! And the time that my actual name got left off my photo print order, the woman working camera went above and beyond to look for my order and then reprint it when it could not be found and then gave me the original pile of prints when they did turn up without an additional charge. Sure, the parking lot is small and it's not a 24 hour location but very helpful and friendly folks who seem to go the extra mile. I'll definitely be back! read more

I agree with the others, staff is pretty friendly. I usually don't have much of a problem when I come here. Pharmacy is usually quick. I hate the setup of this lot especially trying to come out of the pharmacy drive thru. With the restaurant right next door, it's seems very easy to have accident trying to turn right onto St. Charles. read more

It really depends on who's working in the pharmacy. I miss the old manager, it's been a bit unorganized since she switched locations. Generally the wait isn't too long, the website is great to order your prescriptions from, just make sure you have them all when you pick them up! They also have great deals on a lot of holiday stuff and seasonal. They have coupon books which helps with the over the counter and other products. read more

The staff in this walgreens are very nice and friendly. Especially at the pharmacy, the staff are fast and efficient. However, due to insurance issues the line gets backed up sometimes or when they're under staff. Overall, the pharmacy technicians and the floor staff are very accommodating and helpful. I am posting this review because I will no longer be going to the Walgreens Pharmacy on 200 E Roosevelt Rd, Villa Park. I dont feel like a valued patient there. There always are issues left and right and i finally got fed up with it. I decided to come down to the Walgreens Pharmacy on 10 E Saint Charles Rd Villa Park, IL! It's a tad further drive but it was well worth it. I was happily greeted & welcomed by a tech named "Vish"! He seemed very happy to be there and to welcome me! I was next to another patient when her prescription was being filled and the Pharmacist "Vince" wished her a Happy Birthday! That tells me that he not only does his job well, but he is thorough and cares about the patient in depth. Anyone could have just let it go, but he stopped what he was doing and wished that patient. The tech welcomed me and offered me if I wanted to do a Flu Shot, and i asked why should I do it here vs going to my doctor. He explained me in depth, long story short that why should I pay a co-pay and get it done when i can just have my shot covered by my insurance and get it done and save money. I wish i was told this in the previous years. I was shocked and happy that he happily and cheerfully explained it and made me understand this. Most people would just say something to get out of this situation and move forward to the next patient. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back and will be spreading the word. I was surprised on how fast the pharmacist scanned and filled my prescription. By the time I was done with my shot, i was ready to go with my script. At the end of the day, it's the little things that people do that make your day better. I will surely be back! read more

Consistently bad customer service. Some Pharmacy personnel immature, loudly discuss their personal giggling lives while customers wait in line with no acknowledgment. This is consistent each time we come. Regular customer service is nice but so slow with each transaction. CVS is not any better. Good luck out there read more
