This store is a complete dump. Everything is disorganized and the staff is rude.

Every time I come here they always have trouble finding my info (that's always the same). Extremely slow, and even forgot about me one time as I was told a phone call was to be made and when he can back to the counter 15min later he had never made the call because he forgot. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff is rude, the wait is long and they have screwed up my prescriptions multiple times. The last time they screwed one up (today), I called the dr office to make sure they called it in right, because the pharmacy lady was adamant the error was on the dr side. The dr's office was willing to wait on the phone until the pharmacy tech was done her current customer so I could hand her the phone to clear the issue up on the spot. The pharmacy tech refused to take the phone call on my cell phone, said if the dr would like to speak to her they needed to call the direct line. Whatever. So the drs office did and of course the end result being Walgreens screwed up another prescription. Seriously, worst service ever. I will never come here again. read more

Crazy - the pharmacy gets slower and slower. 15 minutes in line. Ten more minutes waiting for someone to process a co-pay card. Ten minutes of "processing" only to be told they can't process it. This is the WORST pharmacy!! There's always at least two people working the counter but the wait on average is 20 minutes at various times during the day. I've had online refills take a week to fill and they always seem to blame my Dr's office. Even when I have my Dr's office call there is some problem or delay. read more

I love this Walgreens! I used to live in Nevada were everyone at the Walgreens knew me by name and had more than excellent customer service, so its hard to compete with that. Every time I come here I mostly buy beauty products and Faye at the Beauty counter is always so sweet and help full. I come here only because of the good customer service she offers, she always tells me about the upcoming ads, clearance deals, and a bunch other offers. Love this location! read more

I just zip on up to the window, relax, listen to a few tunes, check my email and voila, the prescription comes through the magic little window box. If you can avoid using the Rx I strongly encourage you stay away. From a general observation inadequate staffing was not an issue. Likely, inefficiencies in filing prescriptions and over all troubles with customer service are reasons this place ranks among the worst (if not ever) prescription filling experience of my adult life. Pervy in the pharmacy dept is very bias against pain control patients. She looked me up and down and said "i dont think you need this medication". I've had 4 surgeries in the past 3 years and get bi monthly epidural injections for severe sacrum issues. How DARE her??? She questioned how far i was transporting my meds because my ID has my old oakland address. My current address is in their system. I understand the opioid epidemic but not everyone abuses their meds. 1st time i took my prescription to a different location filled in under an hour. 2nd time she filled it no scrutiny. 3rd time she told me she needed a action plan from my doctor first because i have been on the medication for too long. Chronic pain is a real thing lady. Ive been waiting for a reply from the pharmacy and my doctor has even called them she still has yet to fill it. I have also filed a complaint with corporate. The worst pharmacy I have been too. My prescription was sent by my doctor the night before here because that was the only pharmacy that is open 24/7 and I came to pick it up the next day and they didn't even process it. And made me wait for an hour. They have the worst customer service. It's a busy pharmacy and short staff, there was one girl processing everyone in line and the drive thru customers and the ones on the pharmacy phone. There were two more girls in the back that I don't know what they were doing. I'll not come back to this pharmacy again. I like Safeway pharmacy way better on contra costa blvd. read more

This is THE WORST 24hr Walgreens pharmacy I've ever dealt with!!! I am a prescriber and the first time i called, I was on hold for 20min to call in a prescription for a patient and when the line finally started ringing, it rang for a couple minutes and then it hung up on me! It did this 2 times and on the third time, i called back and asked to speak to a store manager and all they did was transfer me back to the pharmacy where I was put on hold again! If they are this F#@%ing busy, they need to hire more F#@%ing staff! Unbelievable!!! I was finally able to give my prescription request to the pharmacist after almost 45 minutes of being on hold and she denied that there was anything wrong with their phone system and told me that it's embarrassing how understaffed they are. I said I wouldn't come back here yet shame on me I did. Waited 4 hours before I called to check status with a human so I wouldn't be waiting 2 hours again and surprise surprise I am asked to come in and wait. Explained I had my sick 2 year old and that's why I called before I came and no I did not want to come inside and wait. So now I'm parked waiting as requested. Ridiculous. The worst pharmacy I have ever had to use. From the Manager to the pharmacist the worst attitude I had to deal with.. First they were giving the wrong medication. Second two files with my name and when I ask about how that was possible they couldn't tell me how that was happening . At the end everyone seem confused and were not listening to my need. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to with this. This is THE WORST pharmacy. Their customer service is terrible and there is always new staff in the pharmacy so obviously their employees don't stay. Everytime I call it is a 45 min wait. They just put the phones on hold and leave them there. They need more staff. I can't stand the wait times EVERYTIME I go, and I go regularly. If I could give no stars, I would. Get it together guys and speed up. When there are lines, don't take extra long to do everything. Hussle. Try it! read more

The customer service is poor, the photo machines are always broken, the lines are long for no reason. It always appears that there are more staff in the back area than on the floor. I like Walgreens a lot, but this place is stressful. Walgreens has more than other pharmacies in the area, but I would not recommend this place. read more

They had a lot of makeup variety. I bought Carmindy's book from What Not to Wear and she recommends a few product lines that I've only found here and kmart of all places... they also sell Jane which can be hard to find if you're looking for their eye zings. The parking lot is crazy and people go way too fast when you're backing out btw. read more

I am 9 months pregnant and needed to use the restroom and the Asian women told me no. I don't care if it's pass 10 when a women is 9 months pregnant let her use the restroom I will absolutely never in life let her forget that!! Every time I go in there she will be cussed out!!! I would have given them one star but they gave me a 5$ giftcard for my troubles. Their western union kiosk does not function properly, one was entirely broken. The young lady in cosmetics was obviously new and called a manager but no one ever came. However they have an amazing selection of everything you might need, so if you need a one stop shop in the area this is your place. I have experienced very slow lines at checkout here, though. However it is kept very clean, well stocked and neat. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. It is 24 hours so that's the plus. Came yesterday and line was 13 deep so I left. I would have just waited for me to tell me it's not ready. I called them but you can't get thru. They need to hire more people or open another location. Right now next day Sunday morning there are not w 12 people in line. They can't figure out my insurance and didn't even ask if I have insurance and CVS and Safeway I have no issues. Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else. After making it to front of line, I've been waiting 30 min and they aren't listening to me saying the insurance is rejecting it because they need to update my address. They should have called and asked for insurance info or answered their phone when I called. They have a 1.6 rating on yelp. They have two ppl helping from front of store and still can't do their job. Just heard someone else say they would leave and eat breakfast, then come back. Better make that breakfast and lunch. read more

The pharmacy service is deplorable because the corporate office refuses to adequately staff them. The CEO, etc is making a ton of money off their contracts with the insurance companies but not returning enough of that money to provide the level of service they ethically should be providing. If you don't mind wasting half of your day each time you need to pick up a prescription and don't mind constantly getting the phone hung up on you when you call without even so much as a "hello", then this is the pharmacy for you. However, if your time is important to you, you should probably find some place else to go. read more

The pharmacy needs more employees. I don't believe waiting for at least 2 hours for prescriptions coming from the ER is acceptable on a Sunday evening. Especially, when originally told 1 hour! I dont know if writing for big corporations like walgreens changes their poor performance or not but they are not doing a good job to satisfy customers. Does it have parking spot? Yes it has. It also has drive thro pharmacy which usually takes a long time to get ur prescription. They also have done wrong prescription for me TWICE! And they charged me 130 $for a medication that supposed to be free with my insurance. I got my money back after 2 month calling my insurance and visiting this wakgreens branch!!!! I litterally waited for 45 minutes with only one car ahead of me. That's insane! The PH place knows my name and even if there's three people ahead of you it doesn't take too long. Every single time I come here, they are late with my prescription and it takes hours to get a RX filled. This time, called in the morning and was told a couple hours, gave more than enough time and showed up at 5PM and they still hadn't got it ready. Did the same to the gentleman ahead of me in line. I can see they are busy (not sitting around) but they either need a better concept of time (and time management) or clearly need to to hire more people as they are one of the only 24hr locations around. read more
