The pharmacist and staff have gone out of their way to work with me to address a number of complicated situations. They work hard to remember your name and handle your prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner. They deserve 5 stars and then some. read more

While the concept of a drive thru is nice, it doesn't really matter when staffing and publicized hours never seem to align. I've taken off work to pick up prescriptions during open hours only to find out there is no pharmacist on duty and the pharmacy is closed. My wife has had the same experiences multiple times here as well. Staff don't seem willing to do more than what is minimally required to get you to leave. Know your insurance and know what is covered before going. I finally switched pharmacies as it is much quicker to walk into a store and get a prescription from a well-run facility than driving through here. read more

WORST Wait time and VERY unreliable. Numerous times we call in asking for a prescription to be drawn and every time they give us a LATER time in the day. 5 hours to fill antibiotics. A BOX of 6 pills...no counting necessary! Sheesh. They tried to tell me next day but I was so sick that I told them absolutely not. I need to take these meds today. I work in a hospital pharmacy and to call the Walgreen's pharmacy on 120th and Sheridan to verify a prescription. I placed on hold (with no greeting) for 30 minutes before they just hung up on me. Called back, was put on hold with no greeting for another 20 minutes before they once again hung up on me. read more

I bought an item and when it was rung up, it was more expensive than the price marked. I went back to check the price, took a photo of it and went back to explain the discrepancy and request the correct price. She was taking care of it but then asked for my drivers license. I gave it to her, but I thought it was shady that they would take it. I don't like giving that info out, and it seems like she copied everything. I'm mad at myself for not refusing to give it and requesting a manager or just plain returning it. read more

I had a 10:15 appointment for a flu & Covid vaccine. I got in line at 10:05, saw the clerk at 10:25. A person with an 10:45 appointment and one with an 11am appointment were in line ahead of me. I don't typically write reviews but this walgreens really has room for improvement. Their pharmacy is seemingly closed at random times. I have been using this pharmacy for years and there has never been a time where i could just go pick up my prescription with no issues. Either they don't have your prescription ready days after it has been sent in or they are out of what you need.It is very frustrating because i heavily rely on my prescription and i have made several trips to this location leaving empty handed.They are very obviously understaffed and the staff that they do have has no sense of urgency or care. read more

I believe with my whole being that this location should in fact be shut down. It is an absolute nightmare every time I go there. I've only chosen them for so long because of their close proximity to me. The staff has absolutely no regard to the importance of how important it is that I or anyone else for that matter, needs their medication refilled in a timely manner. I receive refill notifications on Friday's. Umm, they can't refill anything because they are closed until Monday. How ridiculous, inconvenient, and stupid is that?! The staff has changed now. They are the most inconsiderate, rude, and worst of all, they often refill prescriptions incorrectly. Should you opt for phone or text alerts they inform you your prescription is fully ready for pickup. I've learned over about the past 8-10 months upon picking up my prescriptions a lot of the bottles, amounts, and refills were completely incorrect. I calmly inform them each time, that I now have to go over each time I pick up, if there is a discrepancy. I have to save all receipts, stickers on bottles, and proof of purchase time and date because... The blame is either placed on me for picking up my prescriptions too soon (even though I was alerted it was time for my refill) or it was what my doctor ordered, even though I had refills on that prescription so the amount never changed. THEN they explain I AM RESPONSIBLE for calling my doctor, as if it's that simple to get a hold of him right away, and clear it up with him. There's no accommodation on their end to just fax your doctor or even heaven forbid your insurance co.?should there be confusion, most likely caused by them for mishandling your prescriptions without taking ANY responsibility. You can count on that and it will almost make you feel crazy, helpless, and after so many times gaslighted. This new staff is extremely lazy. Calling about a prescription, asking a simple question, or just requesting a refill almost seems like you are burdening them. I try to be pleasant during phone calls. A few times near the end of a call while I was still speaking I was hung up on! The last phone call I made, I spoke to a man who told me that I could not pick up my refill that I need until tomorrow. Tomorrow is Saturday. So, not only unwilling to transfer my medication to another location he also gave me the unwarranted and inappropriate response of "you will have enough to get you through until Monday." Even though I was sent a refill alert. It was completely inappropriate and inaccurate. On his end and pure insanity. Anyone in dire need of a pharmacy I urge you to drive by and speed up as fast as you can past this pharmacy! In all seriousness find another one. I pray this branch changes their inadequacies by means of courtesy, willingness to help, proficiency, mindfulness, and remembering that customer service is not their burden it's their job! I'm beyond disgusted and they are a true disgrace to this profession. Regarding photo card orders, it's ridiculous that they only offer 5x7 envelopes for smaller photo card orders (with no forewarning). My 3.5x5 phot cards look stupid in such large envelopes and now I have to find 4x6 envelopes. Just a heads up to anyone else getting smaller photo cards... read more

Pharmacy staff isn't compassionate and show no sense of urgency. Filled a script and went to pick up two days later to find out it wasn't ready because they are "out of stock". When the staff went to check to make sure they didn't have any, they found some to fill my script. Yet I still had to wait/come back so they had time to fill it. Not sure why I was never notified, or why the staff didn't look for any stock before not filling the order. Or why there was no sense of urgency for their own error. Regardless of drug shortages, Walgreens and the pharmacy staff have terrible customer service and admin systems aren't adequate, as they should notify their customers on any issues regarding scripts so the customer can plan accordingly. When meds are crucial and on a schedule, it's really unacceptable healthcare. read more

We use this Walgreens for our drug pick up. The pharmacy staff is overworked, but the still seem to be nice. The place is kept clean including the restrooms. You can get lots of discounts and the staff in rest of the store is quite friendly. read more

Pharmacy staff is nice, but overwhelmed. I couldn't discern that they made any effort to seek out medications that were in limited supply. I changed to a different pharmacy and now these RX are getting filled in a timely manner. Also misplaced prescriptions that were already filled several times forcing me to have to come back. These guys have gotten much better but it's scary to go in there because you don't know if they're going to jump on your case and snap at you or not. I think they are so overstressed that the poor dears are being mean to the clients. I always said that this is the one of the most dysfunctional places I've ever been to but I thought they were getting better. The other day they were meaner than ever. I asked a simple question and the guy was not very nice. The next day,. I had to come in and be extra nice to a woman and let her know that I was having a hard day and would she please be nice to me. I think she was as nice as she could be. She just complain to me that the day before was just a day like hell. Then I had to talk her off the ledge and help her to calm down. However, I should not have to do this. But because they have improved a little, I will raise them from a one star to a two star. Management needs to be replaced. read more

Used same-day delivery to order covid tests (we couldn't go out, as we were sick). Tests were supposedly in stock, they charged our credit card and said the order was being processed and would be delivered within 2 hours. Soon after we get an email/text, the order was delayed. No further communication. Next day, called the number on the notice, which turned out to be the pharmacy, who couldn't help. Why have that number on my order as the number to call for questions?? Pharmacy was rude and irritated that I called them! Transferred to the 'front of store', on hold for 5 mins, then someone picks up but puts call back on hold - this happened four or five times. After 20+mins, I get a person. The order is "shopped by another company who delivers it". I have to contact that company and pursue this! Called the 800 number who said the store is in charge of fulfilling the order! She called the store and they told her they can't do same-day orders at this store. What??! Why didn't they tell me that after me holding on the phone for over 20 minutes? DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS FOR ANY DELIVERY and I'd advise not using it for other items or services. So disorganized and rude. It's a clown show! PS the woman at the 800 number for Walgreens was exemplary. She called the store, found out they don't do same-day deliveries, cancelled my order and credited my card and gave award $$ for the inconvenience. I still don't have covid tests but she eased the frustration. read more

Good experience at the Healthcare Clinic. I was seen a few minutes before my appointment time and the practitioner was very friendly and made me feel comfortable (even though I felt miserable and was being diagnosed with strep!). She agreed to bill my copay when my credit card didn't run in the machine for some reason. Had my antibiotics in hand within 15-20 minutes of the appointment. Happy I didn't have to deal with exorbitant charges at an urgent care clinic! read more

I was treated at the clinic here for a throat infection. The nurse practitioner who saw me made a point of stating that payment in full is due at the time services are rendered. I was presented a bill and I paid it in full. A month later I was sent a letter stating I owed another $20, threatening to send me to collections. When I called to resolve it I was told they had accidentally undercharged me, and needed another $20. Guess what? I also have a policy that states once you've presented me a bill and I have fulfilled my obligation we are done. The rep on the phone said he'd look into it but did not promise to make it go away. "The corner of happy and healthy" is not at 120th and Sheridan. This review is in regards to the healthcare clinic and pharmacy. The care provided by the nurse practitioner was great, not a negative thing could be said. The service at the pharmacy was another very disappointing story. Crucial information was verbally left out forcing me to repurchase my vaccination. Furthermore, if it had not taken four days for them to call me back I wouldn't have had to repurchase the entire vaccination, but I did and they would not work with me at all. To top it off the manager on duty was smug and incredibly rude to me. This is my first and only Yelp review, so you know it's bad. read more

Sometimes seems like the pharmacist is surprised to find that the doctor has sent them a prescription order electronically. You would think that doing so would hasten the process. Not so much at this pharmacy (although the same is probably true of pharmacies in general). There's got to be a better way! read more

I've never had anyone talk to me the way they did when I walked into this store. As soon as I walked in the lady in the front said "we close in 2 minutes!" I said "oh you guys aren't open till midnight, I just double checked before walking in?" She responds by saying "no we close at 10". Not once did she ask if you could help me find something. She then comes to the isle where I was and says "it's 10 a clock you need to go", I'm never one who loses my cool with anyone ever, in fact I'm the one that is extra nice and small talks and asks how their doing. But I couldn't understand why she was being so rude to me, I needed some help but it was obvious by the way she spoke to me before I even noticed her, that I wouldn't be receiving anything more than her terrible attitude. When she told me I had to leave I responded by asking her why she had to be suck a bitch, I've never been treated that way. Almost like I was a second class citizen and I was so beneath her that she couldn't interact with me like a human being. The cashier them responds in her defense that they have lives too. That's fine and all but I don't agree with the way they spoke to me. Will never step foot in there again. I never write reviews, and I'm sure their supervisors could care less and maybe the behavior has been acceptable but I couldn't have been any more embarrassed. I would hope that me being Hispanic had nothing to do with it but I would be inclined to believe it was. How about the fact that the hours I pulled up online bad this store open till 12. She acted as if I couldn't be more ignorant for not knowing that they close at 10. Terrible cutumer service, McDonald's does better.
