Walgreens pharmacy has really gone down hill. Waiting two weeks for a prescription is ridiculous. I went in to complain, only to find out that they have the product in stock. I use Walgreens for convenience. They are more expensive than most places. No longer convenient or customer caring. I will move my business elsewhere ! read more

I really like the people that work in pharmacy. Unfortunately, I never have an extra half hour to pick up in the drive-through lane. They are unbelievably slow. I understand if you're short staffed but if you've got a customer that has an order that's not ready or has an insurance problem. Maybe you should suggest that they either come inside or come back at a later time. I've literally been in line for over 20 minutes and barely moved and this is not the first time. I think I'm gonna stop coming to this one it is really frustrating. read more

Absolutely a disgrace I walked in with my boyfriend and we were in aisle 13 (he's a person on color) and then I hear over the loud speaker "security check aisle 13" we felt so targeted and disrespected. This location also does not have as good as a variety as other Walgreens in the area but at least it's not CVS. read more

If have to call back on script good luck getting anyone to take your call - it's game of place on hold and then cut them off after 20 mins if customer won't go away. Over the last 3 years or so it seems to be growing struggles in pharmacy with having meds in stock and getting fills correct too. read more

As usual I get a prescription called into the Walgreens, I go there to pick it up and surprise surprise, It's not ready. I asked them when this will be filled? they tell me 2:30, I also handed them a paper prescription they said we'll be filled and ready for pickup at 2:30 with the other two prescriptions. I asked if they were positive it will be ready at 2:30 they said yes it will be ready. No problem. I gave them an extra 15 minutes and went there at 2:45 and it still wasn't ready. I was advised it will be another 15 minutes. This is like the Seinfeld episode, "why reserve a rental car if the car you reserved isn't there when you pick it up at the time you reserved it." This happens on a constant basis, for some reason they just cannot have a prescription filled and ready when they say it will be ready. In the meantime I'm in horrible pain waiting for them to finally fill this prescription and it's been longer than 15 minutes. Thanks Walgreen's, you managed to fluck me over again. read more

This is my go to Walgreens. It has a Chase cash station and 2 Redboxes outside, so that helps. The store is clean and there is always someone floating around to help you, but I've had a few times when they are out of what I want. I'm not shopping for anything major, it could be school supplies or laundry detergent, but I never know if it will be there. The parking lot is usually pretty empty, so there's no problem there. As far as the staff goes, they are all pretty nice. The store is clean, but it bugs me that I never know if they are going to have what I'm running in to get. If this spot wasn't in my usual route, I would probably be hitting another location. read more

Wow, this Walgreen's is not like others I frequent. The new sales were not marked with shelf tags. The cashier was so unpleasant when I showed her the sales flyer with the sale prices for the items in my cart. There was a line of people piling up, and she begrudgingly called for someone to open another register. The manager of this location needs to plug in and check out what is going on the floor. read more

This is the only Walgreens in the area I have problems at. This pharmacy never has the meds I need for my child and they always have to order them or I have to travel to a farther Walgreens. They also messed up and only gave me 10 days of the meds instead of 30 days. Then they had to order again! They are the only Walgreens in the area that won't price match the Walgreens website. It's ridiculous. Why would FIVE other Walgreens price match the same item but this one won't? It's worth the little extra drive to not have to deal with them. read more

The clerk named Michael, was very very rude and unhelpful. I tried to get cash back using apple pay with a. Purchase of another item and I payed and nothing happened. He then told me "Welp u screwed something up" in a very aggressive tone. He then continued with the next person in line leaving me with a stupid red nose toy and without what I requested. Also another time when I was with my older friend buying cigarettes he berated him and was very rude to him for his purchase. I recommend his employment to be terminated. read more

I wasn't able to go on the phone to do the survey, so I wanted to make a review here. I went to this Walgreens last Thursday with some residents from the retirement community I work at. There was a lady at the make up counter, Nancy, who was wonderful! She was so patient with my residents and helping all of them. She checked all of us out and it was a headache, but she didn't show it. She also told me that on the first Tuesday of every month is the day where senior citizens get a discount. She was such a sweetheart, that I will keep going back to that Walgreens simply because of her! read more

I really like Walgreens. No matter where you are, you know what you are going to get (merchandise is very consistent store to store) and the sales clerks are always so nice. Plus, I like that it is never super crowded so you can get in and out in under 5-10 minutes. I'm surprised no one has Yelped this -it must be a newer location but it is conveniently located near this really pretty wooded running path -so it's great to stop in when you need water or an after run snack! read more

How many times have you had a pharmacist call and follow up on a change in a prescription? Yesterday one of the pharmacy staff...I believe it was Martina?...called to see if I was experiencing any side effects from a change in medication. Over the years I have found this pharmacy staff to always be knowledgeable, congenial and efficient. Yes, sometimes one might have to wait in line and they seem busy to the point of being short staffed but that is not the fault of those working behind the counter. When it is your turn you receive all the time and explanation that you desire. read more

Went to get a prescription filled In Glen Ellyn but my insurance wouldnt go thru. They told me they would check and let me know. I get a message saying prescription was filled and the price was $14.99. By then i had all ready went home which is closer to the Winfield Walgreens. So I called and asked to transfer my prescription over there. Was told fine no problem. When i went to Winfield Walgreens they told me i owed $19.99. Asked why a $5.00 difference she said could be different manufactures. I questioned both being a Walgreens and what 6 miles a part and I get charged $5.00 more. What a rip off. Never knew prices was so different at Walgreens. So warning price check each Walgreens before you buy. Better yet dont use them! read more
