This is quite possibly the worst Pharmacy of all time. Unfortunately, due to TRICARE agreements, Walgreens is the only pharmacy that I can use. That being said I will happily pay a $200 co-pay just to never step foot near this sorry excuse for Pharmacy ever again. This Pharmacy will send you a text message saying your medicine is ready for pick up, only for you to drive 30 minutes there in them say they need to order it and it should be in one to two weeks. Then when you go back, they tell you they're working on it and they lead you in limbo to wait from anywhere from 30 minutes to 4+ hours. The staff is incompetent, slow, and laissez-faire regarding your medication wait times or customer experience. Like I said I have and will continue to pay astronomical co-pays to not go to this pharmacy. It's so bad in fact I almost want to invite people to go to it so we can have something in common about how much we dislike this Pharmacy. Wegmans is my favorite store. This store is a stand along against any other grocery store. But fun fact... they have one of the best flower departments. This is the worst Walgreens I have been to. I waited at the consultation window for 10 minutes. I could see the pharmacist so he new I was there and the person at the register told him I needed a consult. I decided to walk away and then he hurries to the window. Then at the front register he does not say hello, breaks up about 4 rolls of coins before he rings me up and then tells me I would need to use my coupon the next time I came in because he did not want to re- ring my items. THIS REVIEW IS STRICTLY FOR THE DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING!!! I have been trying to get tested for a few days just for my knowledge and peace of mind. Every where I went I kept meeting roadblocks. I went online through Walgreens.com and the whole process was quick and simple. Input your info, find a nearby location, and schedule your appointment. Nothing hidden, unlike that OTHER pharmacy, rhymes with BDS! Day of test, pulled into drive thru and the clerk/pharmacist came up and walked me through the whole self-test process. After verifying my info, I received 2 packets (one with test result info, the other with test equipment). From the comfort of my vehicle, I swabbed my nostrils and submitted my sample in the adjacent Lab Corp box and was on my way. The whole process lasted 12 minutes from pull up to pull off! Thank you, Walgreens, for your assistance. Let's hope & pray for negative results!! I did not get the name of the young man assisting me but he was thoroughly professional! THANKS!!! read more

I scheduled an appointment for a COVID booster shot at 11:45 am. I arrive 15 minutes early but I had to stand in a line for over 20 minutes waiting to be checked in It is now 12:30 and I am still waiting for the booster shot. Why the hell do we need to set an appointment that Walgreens has no intention of keeping. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I am going to tap out in 1 hour. The Pharmacists at this Wallgreens randomly decide not to refill a legal prescription of schedule 3 or 4 medications until you are completely out. Even though federal law says you can refill the medication up to two days early (and so does the insurance). Because they are so inefficient they never refill your medication in a timely manner so you end up going without your prescribed medication for several days. Switching back to CVS where we never had such unnecessary issues. read more

I've been here 4-5x and I've never had a good experience in this store. I did a ship to store order and after waiting for a week and a half to hear that it arrived, I finally called to verify that it was there and I was told that it had arrived. I guess no one was going to let me know. I go to pick it up today and suddenly no one can find it. They called the manager, Khary (I think is her name) over who I always have issues with. She finally finds the box and says it wasn't a ship to store order, it was mailed to the store. #1: girl what? #2: I literally clicked ship to store online but okay. As someone who does Instacart, I received a very simple order I found all of the items, the checkout line was long, and I was trying to figure out why, when I finally got helped on, the shift lead person was slowly scanning each individual item, one by one, but not bagging them, so he would scan each item place them back on the counter and wait until you actually process the payment before he started bagging the items, this was taking up more than double the time that it should, and on top of that he doesn't hand the receipt to you in your hand he just stops it in which ever bag he does last. Which causes a lot of confusion, because customers were asking him. Where is my receipt, the correct way is to hand the receipt in hand. As a regular customer, I would've just left all the items and walked out without purchasing anything due to the amount of time it takes to check out. For Instacart I had to complete the order, but we're also timed on how long it takes us to do the order. It would be very helpful if they were trained properly to better serve the customers and not cause a line. read more

does no one need to use the restroom after dark? why is this a "thing" in woodbridge? i went into this store and a cvs (which i have already left a review for) while i was traveling with my infant. i'm a young mom, and traveling alone with my infant is scary, let alone the standstill traffic on 95 in the middle of the night. my gps took me on a detour and i ended up on this road. i saw a cvs sign and on their window it said open til midnight. i went in and looked for the restrooms and nothing. i walked up to the pharmacy and asked her and she told me i'd have to go back up front and ask.... what? do you have one or not? anyways i went back up there and the gentleman was checking people out in self checkout.... sir, it's a SELF checkout. if you don't trust people then turn them off and check people out yourself. he was halfway through the group of guests in front of me when he looked at me and said something intelligible and i asked him to repeat himself. he said "what do you need" i responded "do you have a restroom" to which he responded, "it's out of order." do the people in woodbridge not use the restroom after dark? you're telling me after dusk there's no restroom? that RIDICULOUS. i turned around and put my child back in her car seat and we headed onward. at this point it's well past 10. i saw a walgreens and thought to myself they HAVE to have a restroom. well i walked in the doors and i was greeted by a friendly woman and i asked her if they had a restroom. she responded with "it's closed at night" HOW DO PEOPLE SURVIVE IN WOODBRIDGE?!? i would've been more than happy to buy something to use the restroom, but it wasn't even an option. i won't be returning to either location if my life depended on it. read more

Unfortunately the pharmacy is not that great. The cashiers are not trained in anything pharmacy related so they don't do things like run prescriptions through insurance unless you remind them or ask. They do not understand what prescriptions they are reading so they're having to ask the pharmacist constantly. One cashier kept saying to another that "PT" meant physical therapy so she was confused about what was on the screen. The other cashier corrected her and told her on the patient screen it means "patient" . Just shows they probably haven't been trained properly so that means longer wait times and a lot of confusion. So much so that two days in a row they call to say all prescriptions are ready and when I arrive they say that some are "missing". I ask what that means and the cashier says well the computer says it's ready but we can't find it. That has happened twice in one week. So then they ask us to return so they can refill it again. Lastly, Their dress code is also odd. If they at least wore a Walgreens polo they'd look a little more professional or at the very least a name tag. One cashier wears scrubs and looks put together but the others are in sweats and hoodies, it's odd that Walgreens allows such a relaxed dress code. read more

I usually enjoy walgreens. Yesterday I was denied a sale on an item by manager on duty Rodney. Apparently Rodney had to get an ad set by midnight. the sale tags hanging in front of the item did not specify the start date of this sale only the end date. Rodney informed me that none of the tags are in the sale in if I just looked. Which confused me because if you have sale tags theres really no need to check the ad. Anyway, Rodney continued on about having to have the set complete, i asked for a refund and he walked off and continued with his set. Very rude as he also went back and forth with another customer about the same sale signs. Can't believe he was a manager as he passed blame onto his store manager who was not in store. read more

I drive by this store on my commute. The staff is extremely friendly every time I go inside. They are affordable and always have items I need in a pinch. The lines can be long at times, but it is usually during busy times like when everyone is getting off work and stopping on the way home. The only two reasons I don't love this place is the location can be difficult to get in and out of and sometimes there are people loitering outside asking for money or rides. However; they are not the only place in this intersection that has issues with people loitering, but the staff does make an effort to stir them away. read more

I give this place 2 stars simply because it's clean and often stocked. Other than that, I'm very disappointed with their customer service. I literally visit this place about 5 days out of the week. It's convenient as it's close to my home. But I will stop coming here. I absolutely hate dealing with employees that act as if I'm bothering them. About 80% of the employees are rude. Fail to greet, speak, etc. Often times, there is one cashier during long lines and the other employees won't assist; instead they'll continue to stock. As for the employee....... horrible customer service. I'm writing this for one specific employee. He didn't even greet or help his customers. I understand that I was using 3 coupons but for some reason they weren't scanning. I apologize and told him if he need to help the person behind me go ahead. The pharmacist at this location are 5 stars in customer service. I dropped in yesterday w the worst case of acid reflux. I had been up most of the night choking. I was not able to wait for a doctors appointment & felt too guilty to go to the ER. I explained my symptoms to one of the techs, she showed compassion to take time out of her busy day and listened to me. She understood that I barely take aspirin and was burning in my chest. She walked me to the over the counter meds, explained the differences. Today I feel great! She does not get paid more to be kind and informative. I appreciate the pharmacy department at this store. I stopped at this store only because it's close to home. When I went to check out, I asked for a price check. The cashier, Frank, rolled his eyes and stomped off like a child. When I confronted him about this behavior, he screamed and yelled at me in a store full of customers. I quickly reported this behavior to the manager and corporate. I received a phone call being offered $20 in discounts and told that Frank was going through additional training for his behavior. Really??!! Just moved to Woodbridge, Va. After a serious motorcycle crash sadly busted me up in a long list of ways I won't get into. I sadly have to see a pharmacy on a monthly basis. Long story short I've had to deal with many pharmacies in which ended up being what seemed to be almost deliberately deceiving and non caring. I'm so lucky to of found the staff at Walgreens for they are amazing and treat me like a close family member. It's important I'm able to receive my prescriptions on time without any multiple day wait for pharmacies to order in. I'm on medication that allows me to function daily,that being said I can call a few business days before to remind the staff I'll be in with prescriptions. The staff will make the order and meds will be there waiting for me. This is caring I haven't received from any other pharmacy. Really impressed by my most recent interaction with the pharmacy staff! They actually called to confirm pricing once they saw a name-brand medication was out of coverage with my insurance so that I could switch to a generic. CVS would never have done that. A lot of pharmacies will mention generics but never follow up directly with you. Online apps are great, but sometimes you really need to speak to a live person to handle an issue. I really like that the pharmacy staff takes the time to phone me for any issues so they can be resolved quickly. read more
