I came an hour after it was sent and they said come back in 20 mins, so I went and picked up my pizzas I ordered at Punch across the street. Then I come back 40 mins later and the guy is like, "oh yea it's still in process, come back in like 30." I said, "There's no way, I was just here and she said come back in 20. It's been 50 mins." He said, "oh ok you've been here already just stay here and I'll work on it." Mind you, it's for an inhaler. I also ate my whole pizza while waiting. I'm not impressed and will definitely be calling their corporate office because what do you mean I have to wait this long and keep coming back? Ain't nobody got time for this. Do not use this pharmacy!! Been going here for more than 15 years and about 5 years ago had to change. My doctor ordered a Dexcom g7 system and I have stopped in several times to pick it up. Always an excuse. Out of stock, have the reciever but but not the transmitter, line is way too long, need insurance approval, got that, then they needed another doctor approval when my doctor had already prescibed like a month before. Its endless. Ive quit counting as I know its been over 10× visits. No apollogies no customer service. I use Allina pharmacy instead but forced to come to walgreens again as Allina doesnt carry Dexcom. Arrrgh! I have been trying now for months. Im furious. I guess Ill have to start over and find another pharmacy. Do not use this pharmacy! read more

Kool folks here but the pharmacy staff is overrun by the shear number of costumer at certain times of the day. Incredibly difficult to get in by phone, thrive thru. And in person walk ins. Alot better at other locations. Change location on all my prescriptions. Woeks better now. Other than that they are pretty kool. read more

The experience at the pharmacy today was so bad I can't explain. It was the gross incompetence at, apparently, the worst location in the brand. It seemed like they actually were trying to suck. Coordination of an entire shift to do such crap effort would be impossible for the crew of ppl who were less than mailing it in. The management of this organization should toss out whatever manual they used to develop the current service delivery model. Baby steps are my hope for this abysmal location. Train staff fully before putting them on the front lines. Then take two weeks off and quit. read more

The doctor ordered a prescription and we finally got through to the pharmacy to find out when my prescription would be ready. The phone system said we would be called within 2 hours. We called again 3 hours later and then the pharmacist looked it up and said they were out of the medication Tamiflu which is urgently needed. Now we are waiting for a nurse to change the prescription to another pharmacy and it's too late to get anything today! read more

I like the stand alone locations. There's still plenty of Easter candy so get it while you can. I like how they carry mulit pack Puffs tissue, many don't. They only had one pack left of the travel kleenix. Bathrooms are very clean and roomy. read more

I've been using this Walgreens Pharmacy for a few years now, I know many people are over worked and health care is hard. In this case, I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism from the employees. First off they are yelling names and prescriptions and addresses for outside order pick up's. It feels like I know all my neighbors' business. On top of that they have sent me notifications that my meds are ready and when I get there they say they are not filled and I'll have to wait 30 min. Last time I was in this very thing happened again, and then they accidentally handed my prescription to another customer. They don't acknowledge you and say "I'll be right with you" when they are busy. They just ignore you. I am no longer using this location. Way too many issues and having prescriptions for over 8 hours and still not having them filled seems too much. read more

If I could give a zero I would but it is not an option! This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever gone to! Nothing is ever ready when they say it will be. Extremely long lines and there is nothing worse than having to wait especially when you are sick and need medicine. Staff don't seem to care or have any compassion for customers, stating they are short staffed. This is not an excuse! Hire more people Walgreens! Terrible customer service! My prescription was called in at 9:45 AM on Friday morning. By Friday evening, the automated service said it was still "in progress". I called and got in the cue for calls and kept hearing the same message over and over again: "there are at least 3 callers ahead of you." I stayed on the line for over an hour and gave up. Tried this morning...same thing. Meanwhile, I am rationing my pain medication (had a total knee replacement 2 weeks ago). Finally got the medication 26 hours after they got the prescription. I was given less than the full amount of a liquid medication, so I ran out more than a week early. When I called to refill, I was told I could not refill it until exactly 90 days after I had gotten the medication, even though I had run out. The pharmacist was actually nasty, accusing me of taking extra doses (I did not) and accusing me of not knowing how to draw up a ml; I've been a RN for more than 40 years, I know how to draw up a medication. It actually had printed on the label that a partial refill was available, which means I hadn't gotten the full amount, but the pharmacist insisted that I had gotten the full amount anyway. I refilled it today, and both my husband and I noted that the refill had a lot more in the bottle than the previous time I got the medication, so I had definitely been shorted. I asked my physician to send the script to a different pharmacy next time. read more

Always the slowest pharmacy. never ready when they say it will be. Nothing more frustrating sitting in line for 30+ minutes only to be told not ready yet after 4 hrs and come back in 30 minutes. So basically just circle to the back of the line again. read more

Ridiculously bad customer service. I tried calling in to cancel an online to store pickup order since most of the items turned out to be out of stock. First time I called, they transferred me on hold for 5 minutes. Then was hung up on. Second time, someone picked up the phone and just left it aside for several minutes. Following calls were hung up on right away. This was for a simple order cancellation. Other incidents include, incomplete prescription orders and waiting for 15 minutes or more for photo pick up. read more

First of all, start valuing your employees and give them some training because every time we visit the pharmacy they are all new employees!! EVERY TIME! I have been going to this drug store for 17-18 years for my R/X. I have been ging to this drugstore for 17-18 years for my R/X. Several times I was over billed. My last R/X was over billed again. I went back some days later and the lead Pharmacist Greg, authorized a refund. The store clerks are less than courteous. They have had a few friendly clerks in past years but they don't stick around. This store never had a public restroom. Because the local CVS has a restroom this Walgreens had to make theirs employee restroom available (Somewhat). It is in the hallway in the storage area. There is a sign on the door saying that the restroom is locked; have an employee open it for you. Problem.. pharmacy is behind a closed area and there is a line. The check out has a line. Who am I going to ask?? Now, the BIG concern. The drinking fountain by the locked restroom is dirty. Dirty, dirty, filthy. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned it years. Look at the picture. This is really just your average Walgreens. I have no complaints. The store is clean and never too busy. The pharmacy is 24 hours (closed 1:30am-2:00am), and the drive-thru for the pharmacy has two lanes. It moves pretty quick. Occasionally there are issues with the speakers, but that issue is usually quickly resolved in a week or so. I also really appreciate that the drive-thru has a huge awning; it's very helpful in bad weather. read more

I know the pharmacy is overworked. BUT this has been a problem for years and is getting worse instead of better. It has been months since I did a drive-through prescription pickup that was not either improperly billed, improperly filled (for 90 days when daughter on MA can only get 30 days at a time) or not filled even though I got a notification it was available for pickup. So, I am told to come back later, after I have just spent 10-40 minutes in line. I spent 1/2 hour with our rheumatologist yesterday getting everything set up correctly so we have 6 months worth of refills approved, and all of them 30 days at a time (hopefully to avoid the issue with 90 day fills). This morning I got a call, an Email and a text message that the one prescription we need now was declined by the prescriber who sent that prescription in yesterday -- our rheumatologist. So, I spent 45 minutes on hold to talk to a pharmacist. I told him I was notified the prescription was declined. He said, "It is being prepared, but we are 2-3 days behind in refills." Then said I should sign up for the automated messages so I don't need to call them. I told him I am signed up for all of them and the message was that her prescription had been denied. He told me in an obvious annoyed tone that message was wrong and abruptly hung up. After 45 minutes on hold (not unusual I will add), I don't get 30 seconds from the person who answered the phone? I know you are busy. I understand you are behind. But after 45 minutes on hold today, I can almost guarantee you when I get the automated message and go through the drive-thru, there is going to be an issue with the prescription not being filled, or they can't find it, or the billing is wrong, or the refill amount is wrong. And I will be told to "come back later." One prescription is often taking 2 hours of my time to fill, and our family has more than a dozen prescriptions with them. And 30 seconds is all I get from Walgreens to try and remedy the issues. Walgreens sucks! read more

First the positives: If every employee working thee were as professional and courteous as Greg and the other pharmacist, my rating would be much higher. I like that it is open 24 hours and that they are in close proximity to my home. For the negative: customer service is hit or miss but when an employee comes across annoyed and does not listen to your concerns regarding your RX, it is a very unpleasant experience especially when you have to deal with them on a regular basis. I can tell when an employee is defensive even when I'm maintaining a calm voice and inquiring about an order. It's upsetting that it doesn't take much for some employees to be short with you. These are time-sensitive meds/needs for the population. Listening well and showing compassion is a must if you're in the business of dispensing meds. If management is listening, please heed the feedback of your customers. read more

This Walgreens is understaffed and the pharmacy is over capacity in terms of prescriptions filled. Picking up a perscription has become a 45 minute affair as service has gotten progressively worse over the last 6 months. Commonly, prescriptions are placed in the wrong bins and time is wasted searching. Tonight, I have cut my ties to this pharmacy and have moved to Hyvee to fill prescriptions. read more

I ordered holiday cards (second time at this location) picked them up today. The girl did not ask if I wanted to see how they turned out first. After I paid and realized I hadn't seen them yet, I opened up the box and was extremely disappointed with the way the colors turned out on one of the pictures. The photo looked reddish yellow... It looked very cheesy and bad quality. I stood in line again for about 10mins (with my impatient toddler) waiting for help. When I expressed my disappointment to the photo lab guy, he tried to say it was because half of the photo had natural light and the other half had indoor lighting. He also said the white on the card background threw all the coloring off. The other two photos were perfect. When I went home I compared the original print and the holiday card. They seemed so different. You couldn't even tell there was natural light in the photo. I feel annoyed and even more embarrassed to have to send these out to loved ones. I had a 1/2 off coupon so I paid $19.99 but it is a complete waste of money. The guy didn't even offer to try and redo them or give me a refund. All in all, I'll never come back here. I would give this location zero stars if possible. I had to call 3 times today for a prescription refill. They swore that they didn't have it on file but my doctors office said they had sent it in a few days prior. It wasn't until I demanded that they check their file they found the prescription! I then had to wait another 20 minutes for them to count to 90. A couple of months back I went to fill a prescription and they told me it would be over $700, Health Partners had the same for $33.28. I wouldn't go back if they offered free prescriptions. read more

Since Health Partners closed their pharmacy I have been going to the Walgreen's on Donegal. I have tried several times to get my meds at the same time (I have five of them). And they have NEVER gotten it right! I am truly at my wits' end with them and will be moving my prescriptions as soon as I can. My husband, who has one script with them (an atomizer) was having difficulty making it work, so he brought it in to the pharmacy and asked the clerk to ask a pharmacist about it. She took the item, came back shortly, and said that the pharmacist said he would have to contact the manufacturer!! HOLY COW! He, also, will be moving his script as soon as we decide on a more efficient place...which could be just about any place but this one! GRRRRR.... read more
