I never leave reviews, but every single time I have come here for the deli, it doesn't matter what time it is, there's either no food available, or everything has been sitting for hours. On top that, I just ordered a sub online, went to pick it up, and over half of what I wanted wasn't even available. I would've just turned around and left like I wanted to but I had already payed for it with no warning about stuff being unavailable. This is Publix store #694 and it's located at The Market at Bridgemill shopping plaza at the intersection of Sixes Rd and Bells Ferry Rd, right in front of the entrance to the 2,700-plus-home residential neighborhood of BridgeMill in Canton, situated about 45 minutes northwest of Atlanta. I like this Publix. I visited late on an ordinary Saturday afternoon and the plaza wasn't busy. My parking and shopping experience felt very peaceful, like that in a town or small city. The employees seemed affable. I got my weekend grocery shopping done, picking up mostly produce and a loaf of bread. The produce was colorful and fresh. Good quality and reasonable prices. For example, red on-the-vine tomatoes were $1.78/lb and Chiquita bananas were $0.59/lb. The store was clean and its layout was similar to other Publix stores I've been to in the Atlanta area. This seems like a reliable neighborhood supermarket. Nice service too. read more

I have been coming to this Publix for almost 14 years. The past few years I have gotten countless items that have been expired. Check the dates. I get some items can be eaten well after the sale by date but this should be my choice at home. Today's last straw was a 2 month old desert I bought. Half way through the desert I knew something was wrong. Checked the date and it was 2 months old already! I'm tired of it. We pay a premium at Publix and this one just continues to sell old food. I came in at 7:40 and went to the Sushi counter, just in case Wednesday's $5 were available. Two people were doing sushi and they asked me what I would like, how many and said to come back in 3 minutes. I could not believe it. How nice of them to switch gears and get something done for ole little me I picked up couple things, came back, got my sushi, happy as a lark Way to go people at Publix sushi counter I am a very pleased customer. read more

Clean And spacious . I was looking for a specific item and the young man tells me nope without even asking what I was looking for and told me I don't get a truck until Monday. He was rude and I've never experienced anything like this visiting any Publix, I am pissed off. I will not be returning to this location ever again. read more

This Publix is right by the subdivision Bridgemill so it's super convenient. There is a Texaco in front of it. (The Texaco by the way has pretty darn good coffee for a gas station) The store itself has a nice layout and the folks here are really friendly. As I was walking in from the parking lot one of the employees was coming out to grab carts said hi to me and smiled. Wow. I never get that at the Publix I shop in regularly. Maybe I should start coming in more often from now on... I think this store carries a bit more organic and health food items than some of the other Publix that I've been to in the past. They have more varieties of herbal teas as well. The store itself is very clean like all of the Publix around the area. Brightly lit aisle with squeaky clean floors.Great produce selections...not weak looking lettuces here....no bruised apples or peanut size zucchinis either. You really can't go wrong coming to this Publix. Keep up the good work guys... read more

I love this Publix so much. I had to do a review after our last visit. My 4yr old was getting her flu shot and a worker, I believe his name was Clide, brought her over a cookie while she was crying. Later on, when we were checking out, this sweet cashier let her help scan items. It's little things like this that make companies great! Thank you all for treating us like family! read more

The awful people in the pharmacy are the only reason that I'm rating this store bad. The rest of the store is great but these folks at the pharmacy are the worst. I used to get prescriptions filled at another local Publix and had better experiences. I walked up to the counter and stood there. No line. Just a bunch of people "working" the pharmacy. The two at the front... on their cell phones. Once they were done with their social media, they asked me in a rude tone if I needed help. I let them know I was checking to see if I had a prescription. Not only was the lady rude, she wasn't any help at all! Didn't even get my prescription! This place needs to get their rogue pharmacy employees under control. It's one thing to have issues with filling prescriptions and may not be directly their fault; but you dont have to be rude and disrespectful just because you hate that you have to be at work. I hope a store manager or regional manager reaches out to me. read more

Aisle layout is confusing, candy and bread should not be in the frozen section. No self checkout. We came in looking for popcorners and were extremely disappointed with their lack of selection. Kroger is better and cheaper! read more

This is a nicer Publix than the one in my neighborhood, so it's worth driving over to Sixes Rd to shop here compared to the one in Holly Springs. This location is bigger and has a better layout. As far as the store itself they carry pretty much everything you need as far as groceries, have a good pharmacy, and the staff is super friendly and willing to help you find what you need. The produce and meat departments work hard to bring the freshest quality to the customers, and the store itself if clean. read more

If you're familiar with Publix grocery stores, this one in the OTP hinterlands of Canton will not surprise you. All is pretty much where it should be, and the store is staffed with friendly cashiers. When I'm visiting friends nearby, It's a good spot to stop and pick up snacks or a bottle of wine. read more

Ah, the art of grocery shopping! I love shopping, and that pretty much encompasses any kind of shopping, including groceries!! The sounds, the hustle & bustle, the lights, and all the raw materials necessary for everyday living. This location of Publix is my official grocery shopping spot!...and thank goodness, it's a beaut! Not too large, but definitely large enough and the inside is pretty much your usual grocery store. They could probably benefit from a couple more aisles to pay at, though I went at 5pm on a Saturday and it wasn't at all chaotic. The aisles were wide enough and clean of debris, the shelves were neat and stocked, the fruit was fresh, and the workers behind the deli were funny and helpful. The cashiers were very nice and personable. My first time around was a couple of teenagers who were youthful and energetic; and once I got to my car I realized I'd forgotten creamer and coffee filters so I ran back in and my second time around was two older people who were chatty and friendly. Parking wasn't a hassle at all, and the outside of the store is very pretty with the stonewall decor. I've only shopped for groceries a couple of times, but I hope it's this pleasant every time! I really enjoy shopping at this Publix when I'm home visiting my family. All of their staff are extremely friendly and are always ready to assist as needed. They have a lot of product variety and often in the evenings they will have cooking demonstrations of easy recipes you can prepare for dinner. Some of the drawbacks are that they are priced a little high and they don't have as wide of a selection as take home meals other than the fried chicken and sandwich bars. Especially in the summer, I wish they had more pick up and heat at home meals for when you're leaving the pool right around the corner at the end of a sun-filled Saturday. read more

What makes this Publix (and many others as well I suspect) is the people. All of the various departments offer quality products, always neatly arranged. But the real story here is the people. Outstanding folks, from top to bottom. Can't help you enough, whether it's helloing you locate an item or carrying you groceries out to your car, everyone is so polite & professional. Extremely unimpressed with this location. The deli only offered one option for my sandwich combo a 300 calorie bag of chips. I asked if I could substitute something more healthy and the sandwich man looked at me like I was crazy. He then got annoyed when I said I no longer wanted a combo. Print another label or give me the sandwich for free! Also the cashier continued her personal conversation the entire time I was checking out. On 3/9/18 I went in to the Public store on Sixes Road to purchase two six packs of Vitamin Water which is listed as a BOGO item in their current ad. This item is also sold in single bottles. There were none of the flavor I wanted on the shelf, which is a common occurrence in this store, and I requested a rain check. I was also told to come back the following day and they would have more on the shelf. I went back to the store with my rain check on 3/12/18 and there was one six pack of the flavor I wanted on the shelf, however, there were numerous single bottles of this favor available. At the customer service desk I asked if they had additional six packs in the back. They called the grocery manager and he said there were no more, however, I could come back tomorrow and they would have more available. I asked the customer service representative if they would sell me the single bottles at the six pack price and she told me it was too much trouble to change the prices. I asked if I could use the rain check at other stores and she told me she "thought" I could. I was shocked at her responses which are totally foreign to the usual wonderful customer service provided to Publix customers. Having recently moved to Cherokee from Cobb, I have been shocked at the poor customer service between this store and the stores I visited regularly in Cobb. There, managers went above and beyond to serve customers, even when it meant more work for them. In addition, the shelves were always stocked! I do not have the time to visit a grocery store on a daily basis. This was my last trip to the Publix on Sixes! Other Public stores are available and there is always Kroger!! read more

This Publix location is one to beat. I typically shop at the one closer to where I live but this one has SUSHI! I stopped by to grab a box (or two) of my favorite sushi rolls and GOSH it was delicious!! So many varieties at decent prices! I had trouble finding the seafood department at first but, like I said, I'm not usually out shopping on Sixes Rd. I walked the whole store trying to find it and from what I saw at first glance--very clean and organized. I give these guys two thumbs up! Keep up the good work. You rock! ... AND roll! read more

As a former associate of publix lemme shed some light on what associates go through. I worked in the deli and I cooked chicken. For hours. Standing in one spot. For hours. I was allergic to the breading but I was the only one that could cook chicken. For hours. 10-12 which was a full timer schedule but I was just a silly little part timer. People complained about me looking drained amd not smiling. Customers get pissy over the smallest things. I have severe anxiety that can cause me to faint as well as bipolar depression yet customers that come with sour attitudes think it's right to degrade amd belittle me. Like thanks I already know I'm worth so little I don't need you telling me I'll never make it far in life as well. People need to be more understanding and less self centered. Publix is all about customer service bit think about tje accosiate. They could be having a worse day. They could suffer from things like I do. They could have lost a loved one. They could be being abused at home. Please be understanding and patient. read more

We've lived in the area for 9 years and the Publix at BridgeMill has consistantly had the best customer service of any of the other stores in the area. Many of the employees have been there for years and the store is neat as a pin. Withthree kids, we're literally there at least 4 times a week and they never disappoint. read more

A super convenient supermarket. The staff is so helpful! I needed a certain product for my daughter, who is sensitive to dairy, and the manager got the product in stock. Won't shop anywhere else. read more
