The check-in process was quick but thorough--they asked detailed questions about my dog's diet, medication schedule, and personality and they asked me about things I wanted him to work on while being boarded, which immediately gave me peace of mind. During his stay, I received updates about his progress with training. The facility itself was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh--always a good sign in a boarding environment. What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed my dog was when I picked him up. He wasn't stressed, anxious, or overly tired--instead, he seemed like he'd been on a vacation of his own. His bedding was clean, his food portions had been managed exactly as instructed. Im glad I found a great place for dog training and boarding as well as sitting in Mukilteo. What is especially great is that during the board and train there are several opportunities where me and my dog can meet up in areas that he's familiar in, which was great at identifying some of his stressors in a familiar environment.

I decided to hire Tom for 4 sessions and see if my pup Murphy still needed additional help. I also opted to meet Tom at his property in Renton instead of my home as he owns several large, high performance breeds and I wanted my dog to have exposure to them. I immediately started to notice a change in Murphy after our first visit. Tom offered practical, easy to use tools and commands, and showed me how to consistently implement them. He is an excellent teacher, flexible to work with, and his methods are very effective. He gave me confidence in my abilities to train my dog, and the desire to want to continue with individual training at home and outside the home. Now I have a dog I am very proud of and happy to take with me wherever I go. Murphy is still working on socializing, but I am happy to report we have visited several off leash dog parks, coffee places, Home Depot, and all different trails and walks through our neighborhood. My dogs have always been well cared for at CCC and that's why I keep bringing them back. The runs are large and outdoors, in semi rural Fall City. The dogs have more room to run around than they would in an indoors boarding facility in Seattle. Heat in the heated runs comes from a light bulb. The dogs have abundant shavings in their run.
