It is a small city in our state and has a very small and simple commercial airport. We had circled for hours through neighboring states, coming quite close to Albuquerque a few times. I truly wish they had diverted us there. But it was neither the pilot's choice nor the airline's choice, and especially not my choice. GJT has no TSA staff at night, no one-way rental cars at all, for those who might have close-by destinations. We never did get to see the inside of the terminal at all, as most of us were not even allowed off of the airplane during the multi-hour adventure of sitting on the tarmac after receiving our fuel. The few who chose to leave made phone connections locally so they could be picked up by those they called from their phones. Those passengers could only take their personal belongings that were in the plane with them. No cargo hold luggage could be taken off the plane until we eventually landed in Denver around midnight. So yes, we got our fuel, and yes, we could finally get out of our seats since there had been so much turbulence. I wish that the federal powers that be had let us refuel at a bigger airport. Three stars is OK and this was OK, as the fuel was not optional and we did get just that one thing.

When no taxi arrived at my house, I called to see what was up. I was informed that "reservations are only valid if made more than 24 hours in advance." About 2 minutes later, a K2 taxi passed my street on the way to another call. Apparently the Monday morning dispatcher eventually sent a taxi to my house, but roughly 30 minutes late. I was already almost to the airport, driving myself. I checked my luggage in with the airlines "with 90 seconds to spare" according to the agent. I have tried to inform the owners of this problem, but they never called me back.

They were told that a driver came out, sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes and then left. This was a bold-faced lie. The parking lot was pretty empty due to the rain and I had been waiting on a bench outside. A bright green can is kind of hard to ignore. This has happened to me twice with K2. Most times the driver will go inside and alert the staff, but I didn't need them to, I'd just like to know this drivers name so that I never get him again. He's lying to somebody. I wonder how he'd feel if it had been his mother waitin g a total of 2 hours before Sunshine saved the day! Lisa Gibson
