They just opened when we arrived on Memorial Weekend, so it was green and the mountains still had snow. The majority of my 4 stars goes to the amazingly great staff and their food! SERVICE - SUPERB! They are so friendly, very accommodating, and when we lost a club, they went out of their way to try and find it, and they did! So thankful for them. A gentleman even escorted me as I grabbed lunch for the golfers. FOOD - Pretty dang good for a golf course! Their fries are well seasoned, the hot dogs had a good bun, and their quesadilla was just what I needed. My friends and I will definitely be returning.

Water is probably at its peak so a couple of the lakes were up past their normal level, didn't effect play at all. The fairways are beautiful and can be challenging. Speaking of fairways, you'll want to stay on them, the roughs can be a challenge with longer grass. This is one of the most picturesque places to play. There are a few picnic tables at the front if you want to pick up some food down the street and eat before you start. Course is 9 holes with a handful of par 4's. Location is absolutely gorgeous; surrounded by trees and great views of the mountains. The putting greens are absolutely awful which is probably the only downside of this place but honestly, for $20 golf we didn't mind it. Great way to spend a day in Tahoe that doesn't break the bank!

One remark was wow, she must not want to be here today. I will just say that I work in customer service, and it's never my Guests fault for me having a bad day. Keep it to yourself!!!! Beautiful day to play golf and spend some time with my dad. We started with a warm up session at the bar. Old time bar with cheap beers and friendly faces. Last time we were there it looked like the bar was going to put in video poker machines - it never came to be. This course has 2 sets of tees for nine holes. Play the back tees for the front nine and the forward for the back nine. You meander through some nice countryside and theres one small lake and a creek that crosses many holes. Its not a long course at all, but does offer some challenging holes... The price is right for green fees and a cart, just over $20 for each player. Bar / restaurant, driving range and putting green + a proshop for anything you might need for your round.

Played this weekend, and I would say they are as comparable to Pebble Beach. In that they make you feel welcome, and put a lot of work in making the course PGA ready. There are a lot of sand traps, oh ya, there are at least 2 holes where a well mature pine tree sits in the middle of the fairway. You will most definitely use every club in your bag. Plenty of free weights and dumbbells. It has all benches for the chest, military press, and squat rack. They have an extra room with punching bags, kettle bells, and some yoga balls. In addition, they have small towels to wipe the equipment if you're worried about sanitary stuff. Daily and weekly prices are not bad either for travelers that are temporarily visiting the area (Posted price pic). Keep in mind they close midday from 11am - 3pm and in the weekends. The owner Gloria is super nice and friendly. It's right across the street from El Capitan Casino.
