When I was in an "at-fault" accident and totaled my car, they promptly paid me out for it, arranged for a rental car, and forgave the accident (so my rates stayed the same). They asked few questions, just looked at the police report and the vehicle itself. When my parents' neighbors had flood damage, Erie had the policy. Erie actually paid for massive home repairs and, once again, didn't raise the rates. Top notch company. Honest, straight forward. The only thing they get pushy about is prompt payment.
