I initially went with the company that I had first contact with and because their bid was much lower based on square footage, but they came over Friday night to get a paint sample then called Saturday morning (scheduled to start Sat noon) to say that after seeing the place in person their bid was actually going to be almost twice as much. And they'd need to use cheap paint to keep their bid that low. I called Noe in a panic because when he came out to quote the job I felt like he was a good person. And he came through. Noe managed to shuffle jobs (thank you, summer storms!) to reassign multiple guys to my job on a Sunday to make sure they'd be done before I got on a plane to return to CA on Tuesday. Guillermo and Ivan were super courteous and sweet, and they were later joined by another person as well to finish up that night by 7pm (we were bracing for 9pm), and were completely done by noon Monday. Although we are renting out our place, we are keeping it so that we'll have the option to live in it again at some point if that works out, so we don't want to have it be poorly maintained. Noe was clear that he only uses quality products and used all Benjamin Moore paint in our place. It looks really great! And get this - after going out to pick up tools to take off the old bathroom fixtures, Noe and Guillermo even came back later on Monday to help us out with our bathroom fixtures (we'd ordered new ones that didn't arrive until that afternoon) because we were only in town for one week and didn't have any real tools here. I can't tell you how many grey hairs they kept me from sprouting! We'll definitely call Noe for any other jobs we have in the future - he plans to expand into cleaning as well as painting, so it'll be a one stop shop for us!

We…read morewere having our kitchen cabinets painted and the process was streamlined for color selection, scheduling and price. The issues began with the actual project. I was quoted for a 6 day time frame and the project was rushed in 3 and 1/2 days. It was obvious that this was a rush job as the sanding piece of the quote was never completed, the cabinets were all hung wrong and therefore rubbing paint off their neighboring cabinets. I complained and they offered to send someone out immediately (1 week later) to correct the issues. One the initial issues were discovered, I spent more time looking at the work that was done. Cabinets, literally 1 week after the work was completed were chipping, there were paint spots all over my recently refurbished hardwood floors, and I came to find out that all of the cabinet hardware was placed back on while the paint was still wet. This caused massive patching and chipping issues when we decided to change the hardware weeks later. Seriously, who would want to pay for such shoddy work??? A regional manager came to the house and agreed that the work was subpar. Beware of this scam of a company.

I've never had a house painted before, never mind a two-family with vinyl siding (which I hated from the day we bought the place, but didn't want to spend the money to change it). Tony deeply cares about his work, and it shows in everything he does; he goes above and beyond to make sure that the end results are fabulous. We hired Victor and his team for tricky drywall mud, priming, and painting work that involved…read morere-flattening walls, which had significant texture on them that we wanted gone. We'd also asked that they try to do the work with minimal dust generation, since someone was still living in the unit while the work was being done, which is difficult since mud application usually involves multiple rounds of dry sanding. Getting the walls flat without the dry sanding process is harder to do, and they still did an incredible job with it. Victor and his team delivered - to an extraordinarily level of quality, while being on time and on budget, with great communication throughout the process.
