We were honestly blown away by the quality of the fish. We tried the tuna poke, and it was so fresh and delicious. It actually tasted even better than it looked! It looked like a smaller portion at first, but it really wasn't and ended up being very satisfying. We also got the seabass sandwich, which was fantastic. If we were locals, I could definitely see us getting this often. Last but not least, we tried the octopus, which was cooked wonderfully. We really liked that this was such a casual spot, and the person taking our order was so nice and helpful, especially for a newbie like me who wasn't familiar with the menu. We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting San Diego and would absolutely recommend giving this place a try!

For dessert, the trio was a nice way to sample a few things, though I wish they offered smaller sampler portions instead of full-size pieces. The Basque cheesecake was excellent and the semifreddo was perfect with a nice crust. The chocolate torte was good but couldn't compete with the other two.
