We called him on the Saturday after Christmas and he came out on Sunday with a vanload of carpet samples. We selected our favorite from one of the first two sample books he brought in. Getting a quote was so simple! He carries one type of pad, the one that he trusts. He's straightforward on pricing. Each sample has a price per square yard next to it that includes old carpet removal and haul-away, new padding and installation. No hidden charges. He'll charge a fair price to empty the room of furniture. That's it. He measured our four upstairs rooms, closets, hallway and stairs and we had a very reasonable quote right away. He's a great guy! He's got a crew of installers that are loyal and have been with him for years, so no subcontracting. I would absolutely recommend this family-owned, local small business. This small family owned business does not operate in a brick and mortar building, but out of a home office and have been in business for 24 years. I scheduled an appointment and the owner came out that week with carpet samples and measured all rooms and stairs. He asked me a lot of questions and proceeded to help me pick out the right carpet for our needs. He only buys from Shaw, Mohawk and Beaulieu Carpet mills. They use top of the line, moisture barrier carpet padding. I selected my carpet and it was ordered and installed one week later. The cost of the carpet included the top grade padding, the moving of all furniture and taking up of the old carpet and pad. Most other retailers charge extra for this. The owner and a crew of three other men showed up on time the day of the install. Not only was crew very professional, they were perfectionists as well. They took their time and didn't hesitate redoing a seam that did not meet their approval. After completing the job, they moved all the furniture back into their original spots. The owner went from room to room checking all work. We priced carpet at four different places and Wall to Wall was about $2000 less for the exact carpet and top of the line padding. We carpeted the living room, family room, stairs and one bedroom. They are able to keep costs down because they do not have to rent storefront property. The one downside, is they do not take credit cards, but do take checks. That was ok with me because it also keeps costs down. I would enthusiastically recommend them to others and will use them again when I redo our remaining bedrooms. read more

I love the personal feel you get working with him, as he is very responsive, comes from a family background, and treats each client as if they are his only one. Greg was doing another job in the neighborhood when I was removing our old carpet myself: he stopped at my house after he was done, offered advice on taking it up, and even lent me one of his tools to assist! How could I not give my business to someone as awesome as that? But, on top of all this, Greg came back a few weeks later with his truck full of samples, showed me everything in the comfort of my own home, and offered a great deal in comparison to the major players out there (Empire, Luna, etc) His crew came in & installed one Saturday and was in & out in 2 hours. I even got a letter in the mail a few weeks later with a handwritten note from Greg thanking me for my business.
