When I hired him to lay wood flooring throughout my house, it was an utter nightmare. From unskilled workers who appeared to be on drugs to very sloppy work. He had me purchase more supplies than I needed and tried to take what was left. My husband had to remove items from his truck. After getting very angry and frustrated with the work and his workers, we were at the point of firing him and finding someone else to do the job. Once the floor was laid, it was very squeaky, so, since we withheld a portion of the balance for the work, we had leverage to get him to come out and fix the areas that was squeaky. Unfortunately, there are some areas in my living room that feel mushy and squeaky every time you walk on it.
