The offer they brought me for my trade-in was spot on. The price they were asking for the car I wanted was also spot on. No wasted back and forth time. Steve, from finance, found me a good loan and had everything ready . No time wasted there. I took the car back for some touch up work, the service manager remembered my name, having only met me once, briefly. All staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. The only quibble I have with the whole process is their web site uses TradePending to value your trade-in. When at the dealer, they use KBB. TradePending's value is not near that of KBB. In my case it was way higher. If you are doing research prior to going in for a new vehicle, keep this in mind. read more

when you drop your vehicle off for a scheduled appointment, told they would call you when it is ready, and still have to call them 5 hours later for the update, only to find out they didn't know they had it, ask if you left the keys, not good! Very disappointing and there is no excuse for it. where is the checks and balances and how do you forget a vehicle that was parked right in front of their nose under the canopy. Had the compressor fixed and it lasted 2 months. Come to find out it was an after market pos partand now I need to pay again for the labor to fix it. It was excuse after excuse. We couldn't test drive the car until inspection was done. And they had us sign the papers before we could even test drive it. Then we finally get to pick up the car almost a week later. The windshield was cracked, and bumper was falling off. They agreed to fix it. But then I was leaving I did not like it all . This was the first time being able to drive it. The rotors were warped. And two different tire shops even said they shouldn't be resurfaced. But Honda said they would it when they do it he windshield. Well I finally get it back again.... After all the work was supposed to be done. First the bumper was fixed by a bunch of stupid zip ties.... The rotors were resurfaced not replaced, and now it's overheating and oil leak. I mean seriously almost 16k dollar car and all of this ??? I am currently trying to reach out to the attorney general and better business bureau to have them just take the car back. I am not happy at all! read more

My Honda CRV was due for an oil change and ended up with a few additional service options. I had expected to be there about an hour for just the oil change but knew it would take longer because there were those "other" maintenance things. Our service representative, Rod, was the best from start to finish. He found us a loaner car for the day (a new Honda Civic--a car I don't recommend as it was too low to the ground, but I did love the back up feature and the right side views whenever the right blinker was on! The push button start and off was a little different). The Civic has certainly changed in looks too, for the better. However, this is not a review of the loaner (go test drive one if that is what you are looking for). This wasn't a case of an up sale on the maintenance either. I knew those things needed to be done. At the end of the day (3:30), Rod called to let me know it was done. My CRV is always lovingly hand washed and looks almost brand new. read more

I've had my van looked at many times over the past few months. It's old so, replacing parts didn't seem odd. I called a few days ago because I was concerned about more noises and I needed to drive out of town. They had me bring it in to look it over. After a few seconds of looking at it, Jon guaranteed there was nothing wrong with my van. He told me that I wouldn't even hear any noises with the fan and radio turned on. In the dark and cold, in the middle of nowhere, and with children and dogs all packed inside ... The van jolted, violently shook, and smelled like burning. No mechanic onsite when I called and none coming in this weekend. We made it home after 1-2 hours of our brains getting scrambled from all the shaking. I'm supposed to take my nieces to Tri-Cities for our early holiday celebrations but, I don't have a reliable vehicle to do so now. I'm supposed to drive everyone back on Monday and also don't have a reliable vehicle for that either now. I had a valid concern and I was treated like a silly woman worrying over nothing. Because of that gender discrimination, I don't have a reliable vehicle anymore. read more

He explained that my experience was abnormal and offered an apology along with 3 free oil changes if I'd be willing to give them another chance. I had an appointment for 10:30. After an hour I was told the mechanic had to go to lunch and my car wouldn't be done until the afternoon. They did offer to take me home. When they were supposed to pick me up to get my car they asked if I'd wait longer as the driver was out to lunch. When I finally got to pick up my car, the bill to change the tire pressure monitors was $592. Just so others know, I called Les Schwab who can also do the job just to check on price. $337! I bought a used Toyota Yaris for 500 dollars more from what I wanted to pay. Another alternative would have been driving to Seattle during COVID, not a good idea. I'm very happy with my "roadrunner", as I call it, but not so much with the whole buying experienced. The good stuff first: The car was driven to my house for test drive. The paperwork was done at my house. Excellent! So here is my rating following what my guests do at my Airbnb. 1. Sales persons/communication/ accuracy. The first sales person was a rapid talking guy who repeatedly interrupted me, "...so, you're Mexican, I get you a Spanish speaking salesman", obviously sounding sort of condescending. The next one said the car had a clean title when in fact it has been involved on a theft. Once the car was sold the salesperson enthusiasm progressively deflated: The sales manager was alleged to be the "decider" but this one was "on vacation". A couple of windshield rock chips were blamed on my gravel driveway. Not true. I was told windshield repairs are not done at their shop. Not true. All fluids were alleged to be changed. Not really true. Oil Can Henry records showed that the engine oil was recently changed by the previous owner. OCH advised the previous owner to change the transmission oil, replace/ flush the coolant and to replace a dirty air filter, but postponed. I had to pay for all these ones, costing me more than $300.00. 2. Local/ service shop cleanliness is excellent. At 8:30 am the coffee at the waiting area was yet not ready, though. 3. Service department, service manager and staff: Excellent, forthcoming, friendly, resourceful and accommodating. 4. The owner of Tommys used car on 9th is a friend of mine! Would I buy my next car at this dealership? I will, with several caveats. I would be more strict in requiring the following. 1. Truthfulness. To verify deceptive manipulations one should check with other dealers, with plenty of time. 2. Loyalty. It goes both ways... cus word of mouth is very powerful, either for Honda's success or for its business demise. 3. Improve communication. Answer calls and emails promptly. Honda's business success should be equated to our community success. Our feedback hopefully would help Honda improve their game. It is up to Honda to live up to it. On my annual trip to Walla Walla to pick up my mom for the holidays, my 2011 Honda Accord starting making a loud, terrible noise near Richland. I drove straight to the WW Valley Honda dealership and asked if they had to time to check it. Within five minutes, he was back and let me know it was a bad left wheel bearing. This was at 3:50. By 4:15, I was in a loaner car knowing they were going to replace them the next day. I had explained that I had planned to load my mom and her cat to travel back to the west side for Christmas. I called at 10 the next morning just to get a time frame and found my car had been repaired and would be ready by the time I got there. I paid my bill at 10:35 and was in the road with mom and her cat by 11:25. I am so thankful for their professionalism, kindness and customer service. Thank you Walla Walla Valley Honda. My CRV is 6 months old and I tried to change the oil today. I have been doing oil changes and more for over 30 years. I couldn't change the oil on my 2027 CRV because the screws that hold the engine shield on were corroded on. Seems like a very poor design, they could have put anti seize on these to prevent this from happening. Not it will have to go to a mechanic for an oil change, not what I wanted to do. At least it has a high resale value when I unload it. read more
