Wallbangers is literally the best. I'm not a burger fan but I LOVE THEIR BURGERS and everything is so fresh too. I suggest this place 200%

BEST BURGERS IN TOWN! I moved to San Antonio recently and this is the place I miss most about the RGV. Great food all at a great price.

The burgers are good but a little overpriced. Our waiter came by at the beginning when we ordered our food and that was about it. We saw him all over the restaurant except at our table. Another employee came by to offer to-go boxes and to bring us our check. We couldn't finish the burgers because we didn't have anything to drink. read more

First time at a Wahlbangers and thought its a bit over priced compared to gourmet places that serve burgers. This atmosphere is great. Im a professional Mystery shopper and they passed with flying colors. Service is top notch. This place even had the manager helping. Not because it was busy either. As I finished my brewed ice tea, another one was being placed on the table. This is a huge plus in my profession. Service very friendly and due to that theyll get recurring clientele. Extremely organized location! I arrived with various friends and ordered the "Mac and Cheese" Burger, they offered it in several sizes -Girly, Manly, and Macho- which we thought was hilarious! Anyhow, the burger was really good, and big for the price. It was accompanied by your choice of side and sauce/vegetables... Very friendly server, his name was Mike, very attentive and cautious about our table! Would totally recommend. Perfect for family time, dates, friends or even business discussions! I was surprised at how similar it is to the Corpus location! Service was a bit slow. We went way after the lunch rush (about 2 pm) and still had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. Same great food. Wish they'd bring back the good fries. read more

Went to this bar had a badass time drinks were good food was awesome the bartenders were one of a kind and had a great time for about 2 hours.....at which point the manager takes a seat next to us and says we are being too rowdy and loud and says he is cutting us off and we need to leave.....like wth I just gave you about $500 of business and you are kicking us out bc we're having TOO much of a good time....eff you man and eff this place....I don't know the managers name but he was working 12/27/18 at 4:30 pm and I will never go back to this bar as long as he's here...older man white beard and totally disrespected our group and didn't appreciate the business we gave him...never will I go back again as long as he's here....Nicole and Alyssa the bartenders were awesome read more

It's not the same without the bar for you to be able to make your burger. Went today to give it a second chance found a hair inside burger. So gross. Plus all the waitresses were just hanging talking in a corner never got my attention. read more

It is NOT like the other Wallbanger's in south McAllen, it's a sports bar so it's targeting a different crowd. Service is okay, but, entrance area is crowded with little walking space to through. Menu is different as well. There is no salad bar nor game area. Food is pricier, too. read more

Came to eat dinner here with my family. Nice place to eat overall and staff is very friendly. The only thing is that the sun hits the windows and the blinds only go down 3/4. Same great taste as the original in McAllen but with more menu items. Food was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend.

The coldest beers in town! Love this place over the old location. They pretty much make everything here from scratch. Everything from the buns to the chicken tenders. The fried pickles are the best, and their salads are pretty good too. No salad bar here but not a problem for me. The burgers are juicy and made to order. Arguably the best burger in town. We ate for years at the Wallbangers of Expressway 83. This was the second time we ate at this location. First time was okay no real complaints, but this second time we ate there this last week it was awful. We decided to order the sliders. They aren't tasty and lots of flies. Gloriously huge burgers. The cheese was melty, the bacon was thick. This burger doesn't have to work hard to earn my approval. The atmosphere is kinda mismatched with the oldies decor, music, and TVs playing ESPN. But the service was good. The food was cooked very fast. Ok. First the good. The waitstaff was very friendly. The place looked clean and had a nice 50's atmosphere that's common to many burger joints. The food LOOKED delicious. The buns were fresh and tasty and the toppings looked fresh. Now for the bad. The burgers were insipid, dry and rubbery. I've had good burgers cooked medium to medium well. I've even had good burgers cooked well done. These burgers were cooked two to three stages past well done. Not sure if the burgers were just extremely over cooked or whether it was a combination of overlooking with poor quality meat. Either way, the burgers were almost inedible even though everyone in the party was famished. After checking with the other members of my group we all reached the same conclusion. All were overcooked and no one was able to finish. Very possibly the worst burger I've ever had. Luckily there is a Five Guys just a couple of blocks away. read more

Not the same as south McAllen location. Hamburger Taste the same, but more expensive. Slower service, cannot order and eat at lunch hour, too slow. They focus more on the bar than the restaurant. I prefer the South McAllen location, I hope they don't change it. read more

Awesome place for good burgers. No frills or thrills just good solid burgers and thick fries. The beers artic cold.

Great Beer selection, great burgers, good service. Love the atmosphere and music. Plenty of TVs. Had a great time and have been going back from time to time with friends. Wife loves the milk shakes. read more
