Val did a phenomenal job wallpapering my room. It was a two part job, existing wallpaper had to be removed and new wallpaper put on. I also did not order enough so Val will need to come back (he was very understanding). Val is very professional and a perfectionist. The wall looked good as new after the old wallpaper was taken off, and the new wallpaper was put on perfectly. He even fixed other holes on my ceiling so the entire room looks better. Val was very clean and tidy, did not need a whole lot of space to do his work, and left everything in the room exactly as it was. I would highly recommend Val for future jobs, and would use him again for future wallpapering.

Alex did a fantastic job wallpapering our powder room. There was previously a dark wallpaper there that we'd removed, leaving a mottled appearance. He started by ensuring a flat surface and primed it so that the dark colors wouldn't show through under the new paper with a white background. We chose a patterned paper from Rifle Paper Co. and I suspect it was challenging to match it up perfectly at all junctures but he came very, very close especially in all the important places - see photos. When there was a spot where I saw some glue residue and noted it, he came back to replace that section. He always showed up when he said he would and was great at communication. Also very professional throughout with diligent preparation to keep odors and residue contained, protecting surfaces, and cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. I had a pretty tough job in that it was a tight half bathroom. I received quotes from multiple people, and Wallpapering & Painting Pro was pretty much in the middle, but they were the most responsive and had good availability. We had the opportunity to have Val do a small-ish, but fairly complex wallpaper installation for us in an entryway and powder room and he did a phenomenal job. There were several angles, alcoves,, and moldings the required very specific measurement and his attention to detail and cleanliness of his work was second to none. Due to dry rot, this also required carpentry work. In just about a week, they replaced about 40-50 rotten boards, painted the deck wood and walls, did other cosmetic repairs, and ensured everything was moved back to where it was when they were done. Their communication was on point and they always showed up when they said they would. Matt goes beyond as well. He makes sure you're aware of all options on how what kind of finishes are possible and why any might be considered. He addressed structural issues caused by the original builders. He also approaches the project in a manner that ensures the rest of the house won't get damaged during the work (in this case, hoisting all the new and old wood off the roof via rope). We have an 8'x10' wall for which I'd purchased a children's wall mural intending to hang the paper myself. After looking at some YouTubes, I changed my mind and found Val's listing in Yelp. I have many good things to say about the decision which are as follows: 1. Very good communication through Yelp. 2. He was running a little late but let me know. 3. He spent quite a bit of time educating me about what I should look for in wallpaper and what should be avoided, including the paper I'd selected. 4. Our project should have been simple but because of the quality and size of our paper and our uneven walls, it took him 2-3 times longer than he'd estimated. 5. Despite those challenges, his work was meticulous - the mural looks exactly right. 6. We were charged per the original agreement - he didn't add for the additional time. 7. I appreciated the other reviewers comments as I relied on them to go with this company. He was fast, did quality work, and the cost was reasonable, as in, the cost was average compared to the other 3 bids I received. He responded quickly to my request for a bid, answered my questions, and responded to my emails quickly. He was flexible with scheduling and also accommodating & nice when I needed to move the install date out by a couple days. Val did a WONDERFUL job!!! He painted my 1950's 4 bedroom, 2 bath 1300 sq. ft. home. I had several places where he had to smooth out a wall (typically old house) and he did a WONDERFUL job. He also smoothed out several doors that had plastic studs in them and again, did a great job. Further, we are fully moved in and have a lot of furniture, and Val maneuvered the furniture like a pro. Professional owner and his helper removed my traditional wallpaper from another one installer that did not turn out well. New one pre-pasted wallpaper they installed perfectly. They were also able to seamlessly repair some flaws in the kitchen due to the previous installer. Their pricing is fair, especially given their top notch wallpapering skills.
