If you're reading this you're probably looking for a contractor. Well, Lucas & Seven Contractors is the best. I had them remodel my bathroom & it looks like it came out of a magazine or 5 star hotel! Lucas & team did a phenomenal job. I had so much dry rot under toilet they had to reinforce joists (even reinsulated floor). I also had a chimney behind a wall that I had them remove. They are very honest & trustworthy (very comfortable leaving them here while I left). They stayed right on the job from start to finish! Joshua was so meticulous laying the tile even lining up veining & every tile & grout line is perfectly straight!! They did all of this work & stayed on budget! Luccas and team recently completed a beautiful bedroom/bathroom remodel (new flooring, construction of a wall, lighting, vent addition, vanity, paint). Throughout the project they were very positive, professional, and respectful. Luccas was great to work with. Definitely a Jack of all trades, and lighting may be the best quality. We leaned on his expertise for the placement of canned lighting, and it has absolutely transformed the space. There were a couple of hiccups including installing incorrect type of floor in the bathroom, reused baseboards instead of new, and initial grout quality. Though Luccas and his partners made everything right in the end; and even went above and beyond to install and repair several items that were not in the original scope of work. Luccas and Anderson are the best. We found a major leak in our bathroom that resulted in a huge demo where our shower was gutted, the wall behind the shower being removed, and support beams below the bathroom being removed as well due to the rot. Luccas and Anderson arrived together to give us the estimate and they worked quickly. Luccas is always super responsive and are really good about following up and checking in with me if he thought we had any confusions. He was very understanding of us being anxious about future leaks and made sure we understood all the things they were doing to make sure everything is built correctly this time. They were hardworking, honest, and professional. Luccas guided us through some design choices and our new bathroom looks way better than we could've imagined, all within our budget. We are super detail oriented people so we did end up finding a few imperfections here and there (think maybe a section of the drywall that wasn't textured well because someone probably bumped into them), and Luccas has been infinitely patient and did not hesitate to resolve ANY of our concerns, even if it means a couple more trips here and there. Oh and did I mention that they were nice? They are super nice and respectful and never made us feel like idiots for asking noob questions lol. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and I've already recommended his team for my neighbor's remodeling job. Our go-to carpenter retired earlier this year, and I've had several projects on hold as I've searched for a new one. I originally asked around the neighborhood for recommendations, but after meeting with a handful of contractors that missed appointments and made questionable suggestions to the work I wanted done, I widened my search to Yelp. Out of all the contractors I corresponded with, Luccas was quickest to get back to me and was the most responsive as we discussed the project I had in mind and various details. We wanted a slider installed where two sets of oversized French doors were, and we wanted one of the sets of French doors moved to another room in the house. A load bearing beam and post complicated the job a bit, but he was knowledgeable and able to address it. His bid was clear and he communicated with me throughout, giving me updates and providing solutions as problems (with the house - not with him or his work) sprang up. I'm not a carpenter, so I gave him creative license when it came to the finishes - and I'm glad I did! Our house is filled with numerous layers of renovations that have used, what I can only guess, were left over materials from other jobs, so some things were difficult to match up (including some trim/casing that we couldn't find a match for anywhere). However, Luccas was able find something comparable, and honestly, no one can tell the difference. Luccas is clearly a skilled carpenter... but another thing I really appreciated was that he was CLEAN! I appreciated the care he took in keeping dust to a minimum and he tidied up each day prior to packing up for the day. He was also reliable, showed up when he said he would, and was on time. In addition, he was also extremely patient with my family. I had several out of town visitors staying with me while the work was ongoing, and some of the space in our house is currently being used as home office and classroom spaces - which meant many of us were all upstairs, often sitting in the same room with him (which happens to be our kitchen, living room, and dining room) while he carried out his work. I'm sure a lot of contractors would have felt awkward (especially since my parents and my kids were often watching him work and asking him questions, and a couple of times everyone was having dinner right next to him while he worked) but Luccas just rolled with it. He was the perfect combination of professional and friendly. We will definitely be reaching out to Luccas again for future jobs. I highly recommend him! read more
