My interaction with Cherice regarding payment was extremely uncomfortable. I received an invoice around 3 PM on a Friday for a little over $3,000 and asked for a routing and account number so I could send an ACH payment. They were hesitant to provide it, so I offered an alternative and told them I would personally drop off a check at their bank. I clearly communicated that the payment would be made that same Friday if I can make it to the bank before close or Saturday at the latest. Despite this, I received multiple follow-ups within less than 24 hours asking if the payment had been made. Both I and my property managers were contacted repeatedly. Considering the short time frame and the amount involved, the level of pressure felt excessive and unnecessary. The experience honestly made me feel like I was being treated as if I wouldn't pay, even though the agreed payment window had not even passed. Because of this interaction, I will not use this company again, even if their pricing is competitive. Suggestion for management: If payment concerns are common, consider requiring a deposit upfront and the remaining balance upon completion. I would not place my trust in AZ West Painting under any circumstances. The painting for my project…read morewas scheduled to commence first thing next week, but Chris decided to cancel our verbal agreement at the last moment, all due to a misunderstanding with the contractor, who has also been quite troublesome. After a phone call with the contractor, Chris voiced his concern regarding my payment(s) to the contractor for a city requirement before he could initiate the painting, essentially accusing me of failing to pay the contractor for the project. To begin with, you do not have the authority to dictate when I should pay for a service that you are not delivering. Furthermore, he was unaware that I had already completed two of the four payments for the project, and instead, he immediately took the contractor's side. Chris accused me without taking the time to verify the facts or engage in a mature dialogue about the situation, and instead insisted that I resolve this issue with the contractor. I tried to clarify that I had already made the necessary payments to the contractor and expressed my confusion at being accused of this, offering to provide proof of payments, to which Chris replied, "Okay, I'm out. Good luck." I find this behavior to be exceedingly rude and unprofessional. How ironic that they advertise Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed on their website. Business 101: Customer service should be provided before, during, and after the purchase of a service. I will certainly not be reaching out to AZ West Painting for any future projects.
