I handed them a fitting (I did not know size of) that I needed a tap and die set for and they took the time to figure out exactly what I needed. I walked in on a Saturday looking for a compression angle stop. I have no clue what it is except that it is a plumbing part. My clueless expression must have shown on my face because the gal at the front desk ask if I needed help. (I later learned her name is Lily) she lead me to the plumbing section and spent some time looking through the rows and rows of straight stops and angle stops hoping to find the right fit. After 5-10 mins she got another staff's (Gabriel) attention asking to help. So together after several minutes and few trips back and forth along the plumbing aisle, they patiently figured out the difference in size fitting between a copper & iron pipe. In the end, Gabriel found the angle stop that fitted the water filter to my bidet. Shout out to Lily and Gabriel for their dedication to assist customers in need. This has always been our go-to place as they have a great inventory and are just nice people. In addition, they frequently beat the prices of Lowes or Home Depot. Yesterday only confirmed why we go to Westside. We were loading some items on top of the car, and Reuben and Ramon saw we were having some difficulty and intervened. They took apart what we had done and redid it in a totally professional way. They were cheerful, quick, and attentive to every detail, such as inserting cardboard to protect every contact point of the strapping. When we offered to pay them, they refused and instead offered hugs. Driving home, the load never shifted at all. It's people like this who restore my faith in humanity. Bought a standard 36" six panel door and we changed our layout so we wanted to exchange for a different swing. They said it "was a special order" When purchased it was delivered and we were never communicated to that a regular six panel door was special order! Lowe's and Home Depot carry these doors in stock in every size. We've spent tons of money there over the years. I guess we will go elsewhere. read more

I'm remodeling my home myself. I purchase all my supplies through Westside and they have everything I need. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The opposite of Home Depot or Lowes. The prices are reasonable. Also, I might be the only person in Lynden without a pickup truck. They always help me out with delivery. Worst place to do business with!! 12 years ago they installed my insulation in my Attic and didn't install the baffling correct and because of this it caused my attic to create condensation which has lead to mold in which my family is highly allergic to. When we brought proof from three different inspection to prove this Jayson Bovenkamp the owner wouldn't back there work!!
