I normally review restaurants on Yelp, but wanted to commend William and Wall's Plumbing & Heating Services on a job well done. I had a 12-year old kitchen faucet that started leaking and bought a new one to replace it. Similar 2-hole style; base and side sprayer. Usually I would do these relatively simple tasks myself, but I had a busy work week. I used Yelp to reach out to all the local services that had 4 stars or higher. William was quick to respond. A few text messages here and there, and we made an appointment for the next morning. Now, I wasn't there at the time, but coming home I could see it was well done. My wife commented that they cleaned up after themselves and even put all the items we pulled out from under the sink back in. That's service! Communications: 10/10 - Extremely fast to respond and kept me up-to-date while I was at work Price: 8/10 - Competitively priced for the area. Replacement costs ranged from $165 - $300. Wall's was on the lower end of that scale. Service 10/10 - Simply awesome! I would highly recommend based on this experience and will look toward working with them again for future needs. read more

William is THE plumber if you have a challenging problem and need someone with skill and integrity who can think creatively. He has come to our rescue on countless occasions, for minor things like replacing an outdoor faucet, to mysterious leaks in the ceiling, to repairing and salvaging poor installations by other contractors. Not only can William handle just about any plumbing job this old house throws at him, his work is beautiful. I mean, the copper pipes he installs are so finely joined they look like art. My wife and I just bought our new home and the gas water heater was 10 years old and needed replacement. William replied to me on the same day, asked a couple of questions, and gave me a reasonable quote. He showed up on time (he was in earlier than myself) with another friendly worker and started on it without my handholding at all (I was working from home and having a lot of meetings on that day, so that was very helpful to me). Not only was the water heater was installed and tested, William also did smaller things that absolutely earned my respect (patched chipped chimney during vent installation, leveled the ground for heater installation, and even organized a water hose getting in the way). Absolutely detail oriented and no corner cutting. I have other projects in the new home and definitely look forward to continuing working with William and his crew. read more

William does an unbelievable job and his customer service is even more incredible. 2 years ago on Friday July 3rd I found that I had a broken sewer pipe in my crawl space under my house. No one would return my calls due to the long weekend but then I got a recommendation to give him a call. My hope was that he would call on Monday but he returned my call that day and was out over the weekend to assess the damage and what he needed to do. He was at my house on Monday morning crawling through stuff I never want to think about again and it was repaired in 2 days. Since then, he continues to return my calls in a timely manner and is always here when he says he will be here. I have never had such quality work and customer service from a plumber in my life. He was responsive and got the original job done quickly and clean. I don't usually do Yelp reviews, but a couple of things I didn't like: 1. His first reaction is to replace rather than repair. 2. He gave a labor rate, but did not explain that he would be bringing another person (x2). 3. When the job was complete I asked what I owed him. His response is that he'll email the bill later. The bill was on the high side so I view this as a passive way of dealing with presenting a bill to the customer. I prefer to know up front or see the bill as they leave. 3. He fixed an issue where the fix only lasted 3 weeks. His response to my email did not reflect good customer service. I would expect at the least something like "I'm sorry to hear that issue is broken again. If you remember we discussed that there was a chance it would not work..." Instead I just got - "Unfortunately only way to resolve this is to open wall cut out part and replace with new". Without looking at it! I expected him to say - let me come by and see if it was a faulty part or something like we discussed could happen. Besides the fact that I don't remember him saying that his fix might not work. He then explained that he was at a job in Boston and then on vacation. I waited at least 2 weeks before I emailed again. He then said he would look at his schedule over the next 2 weeks. That was 2 weeks ago. It's now been over a month without a commitment from him to even look at the issue again. Shame on me for not asking more questions up front. But I expect transparency and didn't get it. 3 stars because I'm not a complete jerk, but thought others should hear my experience. read more

Firstly, William is awesome, knowledgeable and patient! Unbeknownst to us, our condensate pump broke a few days ago and flooded our furnace room. We found William on Yelp and we are so so glad we did! He's a complete professional and very friendly. He did an impeccable job with the new pump and took the time to explain/answer all of our questions and believe me, being new homeowners, we had a gazillion of them! He's incredibly thorough and did not rush the job. He takes pride in his work and it shows. We called him yesterday afternoon (Sat) and he very gladly came over this morning. We highly recommend him! William did plumbing for my new house. I've experienced nothing but problems with the plumbing--leaks in the shower, tub and faucets. I had to hire a professional plumbing company to remedy these problems. Found out that he was using substandard parts. He also had me write checks to his name rather than the company name. He's a journeyman, not a master plumber, and for that reason he can't leave his helper alone in the house. read more

After he did the job he took the time to properly diagnose a problem we are having with our furnace that we will get fixed at a later date. ...This took a while and he was very patient and diligent. I needed a plumber around January 1st and William was the only one I heard back from after calling almost 10 plumbers. william was fast, professional and VERY fairly priced. i had been waiting on a plumber that rooter rooter was supposed to send, they cancelled with no notice. my toilet was leaking so bad it leaked thru the floor onto my kitchen & the ceiling was dripping there too. william listened, understood the severity of what was happening, and came out within a few hours and did his job amazingly. i am so grateful & will use him for any heating or plumbing issue i have. i would recommend him to anyone & if i could give more than 5 stars i would.
