My better half is from Clinton County, so it was only natural and by default that he take me to experience "The Wally Burger"! and my oh my, it was one of the best things he's ever done...! (kidding!) he does alot of great things...no but seriously, Wally's is amazing....i dont really CRAVE a ton of things (besides Jack in the box tacos) but i DO crave Wally's burgers!! if you ever have the time to experience such fantasticness then do yourself a favor and go to Wallys...trust me...you'll be craving it too!!!! Brought my youngest with me to Wally's. He asked me what are they known for? Poor child he has been neglected as a youth! This place has been open since 1951. It serves, Wally burgers. Kinda like steak and shake but better. They have awesome cheese fries!! Ethan chose the blueberry flavored Ski. This is kinda like combining crack and meth over ice. Ethan was hooked. Amazing burgers! Perfectly grilled and put together. Definitely a bit greasy but it's what makes a Wally's burger what it is (in my opinion). Yummy crinkly fries and the onion rings and cheese sticks looked good too. Chocolate milkshake was delish as well! Slightly melty but it was 90 degrees outside. I love Wally's. I've been going there since I was a kid and still probably go once or twice a month. I normally phone in my order when I'm going through St. Rose and it's fresh and ready to eat by the time I get there. They have to be the best burgers within 500 miles or more. It takes forever to get food. I waited 25 minutes to get 3 cheeseburgers, 2 drinks and 2 orders of fries. Several people came after i ordered and did not call ahead and go their food before me. Love this place!! The burgers are awesome and the fries are always crispy. Its quite small of a place and not fancy at all but the inside has all kinds of cool old memorabilia from years and years of being open. It has been around when my mother was a child growing up in the area. I have been enjoying the cheeseburgers since I was a child (35+ years and counting). Whenever I travel back to visit my family, Wally's is a definite stop and munch place. The menu has quadrupled in size since I was young. I still stick with the tried and true cheeseburger. My wife and son have adopted Wally's as a staple of our trips back to the area. My ONLY complaint is that the wait is terribly long. Burgers are good but kind of salty. French Fries were hot and crisp. Oddly, they needed salt. Chocolate shake was good and thick but lacking chocolate flavor. All in all, not great, not bad. Not expensive, not cheap. I nice middle of the road lunch. read more

Nothing too fancy, it's basically a burger stand with excellent burgers & fries. It's one of the few places you can get Ski soda from a fountain! I make about an hour, one way trip, to visit them about once a month. Wally's is soo good, the only fast food restaurants are on the outskirts of town and one is in a gas station; they can't compete with Wally's locally. Mmm Mmm Good! read more

Wally's is heaven on earth if you love greasy food and big fat cheeseburgers. And every once in a while, I do! This place is truly a Clinton County institution just like Ski (soda) is. It's been around as long as I can remember, which should say something. The burgers--with our without cheese--are to die for, as are the fries. But for me, it's all about the onion rings. I have lived in Clinton County my whole life and always went to Wally's with no complaints. Over the past couple years, it is getting ridiculous. Their food is good, but their service is not. It's like they throw all the orders in a pile and pick them out randomly, meaning their service is getting pretty shitty. I ordered a simple hamburger and fries, and it took like 45 minutes to get my food. Needless to say, I think I'll be boycotting Wally's for a while and go to Dairy King. read more

I live for Wally's burgers! As kids, every time we'd go to Breese, we'd get to stop at Wally's and it was always a special treat. The best place to eat is inside, around the vintage counter. You'll feel as if you've gone back in time about 40+ years. The staff is so pleasant and friendly. I have stopped at Wally's about 20 times in the last year for their Blue gill sandwiches which used to be the best. My friends and I stopped there yesterday and ordered 10 of them. they were the worse all of us had ever eaten. Very fishy tasting. Definitely not Blue Gill.
