Again, I liked the services rendered. 5/5 This last time however when it was time to pay for services I was only asked "credit or debit" and not given a bill of service. I asked for the total, and waited a few minutes before getting a verbal quote. I was in a hurry so I paid as it's similar to what I have paid in the past. Thinking back though this just doesn't feel above board; paying without receiving a bill. What do you think?

I left and everything was fine with my car until 3 weeks later. I saw my oil pressure light pop on, so I went back to them to see if everything was okay, they checked my car to see if I had any leaks, and refilled the liquids. Everything was fine until a week later, a week later which is today, 2/7/22 the oil pressure light came back on, so I go to the other Kwik Kar location in Bellmead and they tell me there is no oil in my car, they also told me that the oil was never changed and they showed me proof with how dark my oil was. I paid about $65 to get a synthetic oil change and I'm upset because this could've cost me my whole engine after they kept telling me everything was good. I do not recommend this location.

Sat in line behind a car for about 20 minutes before a worker came and told me that they were out of oil filters and that no other take 5 in waco had any oil filters either. I probably shouldn't be this upset about it, but I work in customer service and this was a pretty shitty representation on how they run their business. Maybe they should have told me they were out of oil filters when I pulled up? Or maybe a big sign saying "I know we advertise oil changes but we can't do them right now and we won't come and tell you about it until you've wasted your time sitting there waiting for one" I don't know just a thought. The employee I spoke to sounded pretty fake when apologizing, kind of a "deal with it" attitude, which didn't make me feel any better. Upon looking on here, based on the low stars this place has, I can't say I'm not surprised. Literally all you had to do was tell me you were out of oil filters when I got there, not wait to tell me after 20 minutes, prompting me to write this. I do not recommend this place, and I've also heard them over charging people based on how much knowledge they actually have about oil changes. Shit business and shit management. Furthermore, my mechanic says that my oil drain plug was stripped from the last oil change... and the finger is pointed at these guys. I cannot prove it because I did not spot the issue as I was driving off, but I have not taken my car to anyone else for oil changes. This issue will cost me almost $800 to replace the oil pan because someone over-tightened a plug! If you have read my reviews there should be no mystery where I will take my car for preventative maintenance from now on...
