Proceeded to go here and receive a oil change was wondering why I was taking well over an hour and a couple of the mechanics started to discuss something amongst their self when was very irate saying that he wasn't going to do that, and he wasn't going to say it and I just didn't think anything of it until two days later when my check engine light comes on and come to find out they had broken my Engine air intake pump they also proceeded to receive a tip and take it gracefully and let me drive off the lot without letting me know what happened these kids don't know what they're doing. DO NOT GO! WARNING I drive a Volkswagen and got my oil change here they overfill and caused so many issues with my sensors in my car. My car spent the day at Volkswagen only for them to tell me that whoever changed my oil overfilled and messed up my sensors. This isn't the first time but the second time that they did this! manager took notes the first time and said that it wouldn't happen again only for it to happen again. There just goof around and don't pay attention. Do not take your car here!! Also, they pretend like they have no clue who took notes about it Edit, went back to dealership to get proof and brought proof over to this company and mason basically mocked me and manager Jerome told me "oh well we can't refund you, and we won't take the oil out" they both giggled like little girls and walked away! I called at 2pm today to see if they could do an oil change on my Audi. I was told they didn't have the filter in stock but if I went to any auto parts store and bought one they would credit me the cost. I got one and went to Valvoline. I was told it was a little busy but would be about 15 min before they got to me. I didn't get in for over 2 hours, I went on to ask how long it would be after the hour mark and told them 4 cars had gone through already on the lane next to me. He told me they were all vehicle inspections. If that's the case they suck at those too. Because an inspection should not take 15-20 min. They came and gave me and the guy in front of me who was also waiting forever a coupon. I got in the bay and there was a lot of whispering and I am very nervous after reading the reviews that I should have not come here. But apparently the filter I need IS in stock and now I have one I get to go return to the store 3 kids under 3 in the car for over 2 1/2 hours is annoying. When I left the check engine light came on. 2 stars because they didn't charge me for the hassle. read more

so my car got filled with oil. And then they decide to drain my actual oil after it has already been filled with oil. Then they confidently tell me that my windshield wiper fluid has been filled and my tire pressure had been checked as I looked down my tire pressure light still was on and as I started to drive away used my windshield wiper fluid and nothing was there. Came in for a simple oil change. When my truck was being worked on it probably took close to 30 minutes just to change the oil... which in reality should take 1-2 minutes. I understand they do other stuff but if I come in for nothing but an oil change I don't want to spend half an hour waiting for you guys to do other stuff I didn't even ask for. Also the man "forgot" to mention the cheaper oil option until after I had paid $125... again... for an oil change. I can literally buy a nice jack and the same oil and do it myself for half that price which is what it usually costs. Never coming here again. read more

Not only did the temperatures plunge during the recent cold snap; so did the air pressure in my tires. I tried going to Walmart on Hewitt Drive's auto section to get my tires aired up. The lady clerk at the desk said to go to the bay on the opposite side, the most distant one from their service desk. I noticed her attitude was really sullen, as if she didn't want to bother. When I walked out to get back into my car, I saw several Walmart Auto guys just standing around in the garage. I did as instructed and waited 25 minutes; no one ever opened the garage bay door or come out to air my tires. So I left. I turned right and discovered Valvoline. A worker came out to my car and asked what I needed and told me to go around back. I got immediate, helpful and cheerful service at no charge to me. He checked and aired all my tires and asked what else I needed. He was so nice! From now on, I will go to Valvoline instead of Walmart for whatever automotive needs they can fill. I pulled into this place 20 minutes before they closed. A middle aged man came to my truck and told me, "We don't carry motor oil for your kind of truck. You will have to go somewhere else." My kind of truck? I drive a Ford truck! I never went back but that jerk doesn't care. I now go to Take 5 oil change across the street every time I need an oil change. They always have oil for my truck and always very friendly...even 20 minutes before closing. read more

Had an experience today at this Valvoline location. The technician that was working on my car accidentally broke the support rod for the hood. He was very respectful and genuinely contrite. There was another technician that made snide remarks about the age of my car. I am sorry that I don't make enough money as a teacher for you to have newer cars as often as you think. I do the best I can with what I have. I appreciate the attitude of Chris Burns as the technician, but the other guy did not have a name tag or uniform. read more
