They did not fit well, they gapped and were not tight. We paid $900 for this and only received $592 back in a refund. They kept 20% for restocking, $90 for labor and the rest In shipping costs. Ask if it's related to the transmission bushing recall. I asked why when they inspected my vehicle for the last two years in a row they did not notify me of these safety recalls. The lady said oh because those are just recalls if you are having a problem. I repeated their safety recalls. I leave the car go to a Dr appointment. They call saying nothing on computer diagnostics. Transmission fluid looks good. Could not reproduce the hesitation from stop going into first. Everything seemed good. They fixed the two recall items in the 2 hours it was there and I was good to go. I say ok please document the computer showed no codes because I need to put car shield or something on my car. He says ok. I said thanks be over shortly. When I arrive the guy says your all set. I said there was nothing wrong with the transmission fluid? He says nope it looked clear. I said okay well hopefully that fixed it. I go get in the car. As soon as I try to shift into drive it makes huge clunking sounds and the whole car is Jerking. I park go back in.. I say did they even drive it? He says yes they did. I said really because it's in 10 x worse shape than it was before. Whatever you fixed made it worse.He says no the shifter cable bushing has no effect on the transmission. It might effect the car staying in park, like a roll away issue. I can read the recall to you. I said yes I have read it. He reads it anyway. I said we'll here I can read you symptoms of shifter cable bushing problems from the web. Exactly the things my car was doing. Then the service manager Todd comes out. I tell him what has happened he goes to drive the car. I tell my husband it was because if that guy I came here when we first moved here 3 years ago. He was nice to me. Hopefully he will help us. He comes back in. Yep your transmission is slipping. I said well they just told me the car was great. He said you brought it here for a recall repair. I said I brought it here because of a hesitation from stop to first that started 2 days ago. I saw in my Geico insurance app there was a recall asked why I was never notified even though you inspected my car. He says the recall has nothing to do with the transmission slipping, but we can look at it. I said we'll what would you do differen5. He says we will hook it up to the computer and see what it says. They said they did that no codes. I show him the paperwork. I said they just said they drove it and it was fine. They said the transmission fluid looked clear. He repeats so you want us to look at it on Monday? I said ok, it's not like I can drive it home. What do I do for transportation in the meanwhile he shrugs. So you are not covering it? He shakes his head no. I said fine you look at it on Monday I am going to call some attorneys. He says oh once you mention attorney I am done. I can not look at your car now. Let's face it. He was trying to get me to be angry and storm off all along. I said okay. I took my keys and told him I will be contacting a Mr Stearns who is doing a mass litigation against Fords nonsense like this. He keeps walking away. Zero cares in the world. We are a working class family with an adult disabled son. This is my only vehicle. I had a 3k aftermarket warranty I bought through Ford and never used when I bought the car. People literally do not care. Just lie to your face. If you have transmission problems with Ford. Do not go to them for service. These people do not care what your problem is. They will be sure it is not their problem. Of course they have no shortage of business. So your stupid 2014 car is of no interest to them . They got rich people to cater too.
