I called them asking for assistance on my sensor as I thought it was an issue they may have cause when replacing my tires. They told me it couldn't of happened when they worked on it and made it clear it's all on me and nothing to do with them and I'll have to go out of my way to pay for them.

They said to bring it back it so they can make sure they didn't overlook something. I took it back and the guy at the counter said it was something they couldn't fix and I needed to take it somewhere else (without looking at it, how the heck did he know if they missed something or not?!) Now my front end is making a weird grinding noise and it's still making the humming sound that never got fixed. Basically, they didn't fix the issue I took it in for, charged me $400 for something that probably wasn't even bad and possibly caused another issue. I will never take my vehicle there ever again. I use to recommend them all the time. Not anymore! Their customer service and quality of service has gone way down!

We've been taking the cars to Boggs for years for oil changes with no problems. One of our cars has…read morean oil filter assembly rather than the self-contained kind, so there are parts inside the housing that the filter element fits onto. After this last oil change the engine started making noise one day. I decided to change the oil to verify the amount. The filter housing was missing the standpipe in the middle which keeps the filter in place and points the oil toward the intake. Without the standpipe, the oil doesn't really get filtered and doesn't keep the element in place. The filter element got sucked up into the oil intake which twisted it. For at least 3 months we had low oil pressure and largely unfiltered oil. This caused engine damage making the car undriveable without costly repairs. I told the attendant about it and he didn't even apologize. He said the elements normally twist. They never have in 6 years of oil changes. What can we do now? I can at least warn others if they have the same type filter; think twice about going to these guys.
