Trailer & Truck Equipment of Williston

We chose to do business with truck and trailer for our new field truck for our Wyoming business…read morebased on fantastic reviews from some close friends. Scheduled an appointment for a lift gate and a couple other accessories to be installed three weeks in advance and was told everything would be complete the same afternoon if we dropped the truck off first thing in the morning. After not hearing anything all day, I called before close and was told our truck was not pulled in until 1:30-2Pm and would be compete midday the next day. Fair enough. We stay another night. I call at lunch time and no one knows what the status of our truck is. We drive to the shop to find the lift gate had been installed but they were waiting on a call back for parts on our other accessory. Not sure why these parts were not ordered in advance and ready to go being that we had scheduled this appointment three weeks in advance and when I offered to put a deposit down T&T declined. Business gets busy and it's frustrating dealing with vendors but I drove 700 miles round trip and lost a day of operating my own business, had to pay for another night's stay, and inevitably left without our truck being fully set up for work.

3 strikes... 1) I…read morescheduled an appointment nearly a month in advance, but when I got there, nobody had any idea who I was or what I was there for. 2) The receptionist (older lady with short grey hair / the same person I scheduled my appointment with over the phone 3 1/2+ weeks earlier) was the rudest, most condescending & confrontational person I think I've ever encountered. My existence / presence was appearantly a major inconvenience to her & clearly ruined her day. 3) They lied & tried to scam me out of money. They told me the evap. code was caused by a broken / cracked filler neck (believable) & would need to be replaced at a cost of $800+ .....I immediately knew that price was the greedy, I don't like you, price gouge. I declined the repair, paid $212 for the diagnosis, drove to the gas station down the road, crawled under the truck to have a look at the "broken / cracked" filler neck & discovered no breaks or cracks, only the hose clamp at the top of the hose was loose. I grabbed a screwdriver from my toolbox, slid the hose firmly & squarely into place, tightened the clamp & got back on the road to Mandaree. And now here I am back in Williston, 7 hours & approximately 250 miles later, the evap. code is gone & the $800 they tried to scam me out of, still in my pocket. Beware...

Dropped my vehicle off Jan 27th for an issue. They kept the vehicle for a month. I called to check…read moreas I hadn't heard anything. Was told they hadn't looked at the vehicle but there was a puddle of fluid under the vehicle they noticed and they speculated it was the power steering pump. I asked for a quote, was quoted $1500 aprox. Another 2 weeks passed and when I didn't hear anything I called once again and was told a second time the vehicle hadn't been looked at. At this point, I said I'd come pick the vehicle up and get it repaired elsewhere as I was leaving the state. I was then informed there was recall work to be done and it would be free of charge. I said do that work and I'd pick the vehicle up. Nothing more was said about any other repairs. I picked the vehicle up on a Sunday and never heard another word from them until I received a letter in the mail with an invoice of $155.40 for a diagnostic they originally told me never happened. That was the entire reason I picked the vehicle up in the first place because they hadn't had time to "look at the vehicle" So they held my vehicle for a month, never actually looked at it and then 6 months later send me a letter with an invoice threatening to send it to collections. There was zero communication from this shop from the time I picked up my vehicle until I saw this collections letter. In addition, I completed the repairs in Minot for $309 for which they quoted me $1500. Take that how you will. I am beyond upset that they claimed they never had a chance to look at the vehicle, but mysteriously found a way to charge me $155.40 Zero stars
