This location has everything organized. The soles are ample. The items we needed we in stock. Our visit to this location was very smooth. No issues. The staff is not available anywhere. Thankfully we didn't need them. They only one thing they didn't have was my coffee creamer. I was so disappointed. We didn't visit the pharmacy area I believe those isles are more narrow. THE ENTIRE STORE AND PARKING LOT SMELLS OF CANNABIS. We are aware of what occurs outside, inside the restrooms, and during employee breaks. We know. I notice many of the carts have wheels that are inexplicably locked. Some of the cashiers need to be better trained or not assume positions where professional courtesy and common sense are a high priority. The store could use a deep cleaning; the aisles are too narrow, crowded, and difficult to navigate through. This is not my favorite Walmart, but it is the closest to me. I was visiting from out of town and stopped at this Walmart for a quick trip. I didn't buy much, but my total seemed way too high. I remembered the cashier -- who looked completely out of it, like she was drunk or on something -- scanning a few items multiple times. Sure enough, when I checked my receipt, I had been charged three times for one item and twice for another. I immediately went to customer service. What followed was 45 minutes of pure incompetence. Five employees stood around debating, watching security footage as if it was going to zoom in and show barcodes being scanned. It was ridiculous. I had just walked from the register straight to them, with the cart untouched and receipt in hand. You could literally count the items in my cart and match them to the receipt. And then, the part that made me livid -- one of them had the nerve to criticize me for shaking. Let me make something very clear: It is none of your damn business why my hands shake. My hands shake even when I'm calm. They just do. People often ask me about it -- and it's invasive and rude every single time. Add adrenaline, frustration, and the stress of being treated like a problem instead of a customer? Of course the shaking gets worse. But again, that is not your business. People have medical reasons why they shake. You don't get to question that. You don't get to judge. And you definitely don't get to use it against someone while they're standing there just asking for a refund. It should not take five people nearly an hour to refund $15. This whole experience was humiliating, stressful, and absolutely unacceptable. Every single employee involved should be retrained on how to treat people -- or let go entirely. read more

When cashiers open a new check out line they give no consideration to customers that have already been waiting in line. I thought that was pretty basic training for cashiers but there I was while 5 different cashiers opened new lines and took customers that just walked into their line while I was already waiting 20 minutes in the 1 line they originally had open. I do not live on this side of town anymore, but I did stop by recently to buy the viral heart cake for my friend Anna from Walmart Bakery. The guy taking my order was so nice. You have to order the heart cake 48 hours ahead of time in store. I just did a simple white heart cake with black lettering and added bows myself. For under 30 bucks it was a steal! I got a chocolate and white cake with strawberry filling- You can choose Bavarian cream too. It was a little sweet for me, but not bad. read more

WARNING - Return policies are confusing and then they lie. Tried to return two items. I was told in person and confirmed by website I had 30 and 90 days, yet return employee said no, only 14 days so no refund. One didn't work, other was unopened. Tried to chat online but apparently, walmart.com and in store are separate and couldn't help. For the cost of about $20, I will no longer go to this walmart (or possibly any). I have avoided in the past for about 3 years, I can do it again. I'm sure there are other businesses that appreciate my business. We will see what another walmart says. read more

If I could give Walmart zero stars I would but the dude loves coming to Walmart (I'm a Target girl). I feel like upon entering a Walmart the air is different, the people attitudes are different and the workers never appear to look happy :( so me being Sunshine brings my Target happy go lucky self all the way down xD I always take pictures when the dude and I come but time has gone on I can't find them. Anywho, the last few times we came here the lines have been so LONG and it's annoying. I am a inpatient millennial - I'll admit it no shame - if I have to wait for more than 5 to 10 min I'm totally over it. Never have this problem at Target. There are some positives. A few years ago I wrote a letter to corporate as I couldn't find any Beautiful Barbie's of color - NONE - presently Walmart does do a good job NOW of diversity of their toys. It's nice that my nieces get to play with dolls that reflect their heritage as my sisters and I didn't have that privilege. So Walmart has me there as you can see in my pictures. They have so many Barbie's of diversity it's awesome!!! Target get on their level xD This Walmart always has police activity going on. I can count beyond the fingers on my hands of how many people have been arrested by Clovis PD in the store or parts of the parking lot blocked off with like 20 police cars with their lights on in the Walmart parking lot. They do have groceries, baby section, toys, make up, home goods, entertainment and so on just like Target and I feel Walmart is slightly cheaper than Target. The dude like to buy snacks and food from here more than Target due to that reason but to compromise we go to Target once a month to get some things I want. The dude even found a pineapple here that we bought that sadly died as we didn't know how to care for it properly so Walmart does have unique finds! During the pandemic we came here and the usual of messy aisles, so packed with people and then there would be times when it would be dead like no one in the store and we would have some fun xD it's Walmart so our inner kid comes out so especially in the toy section. I did give Walmart 3 stars as I do shop here and recently the experience has been a little better. I just wish they had a rewards program like Target and maybe all my dislikes would over compensate for that! Come on Walmart bring on the rewards! I am a rewards, gift card, coupon junkie! Anywho, I will be back especially with the dude. I was walking by looking at the items behind the register since she was at the register that holds the sports cards. not saying anything to her as she was helping another customer. Debbie turns over to me and ask if I needed any help with an attitude already. I ask her if they had any Pokémon cards and she replies back with no and proceeds to roll her eyes like I have said something that bothered her. I bought a Faberware 2 burner electric cooktop from the Walmart Supercenter and also an Allstate 2 year protection plan for it. After about 6 months one of the burners stopped working. I tried to get a replacement from either the store or Allstate but neither helped me. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and hope this issue will be resolved. Tried to return a coloring book we had the receipt as well and was told we couldn't return that it was against the return policy.We looked up the policy On the official Walmart website and nowhere it says That coloring books are non-returnable. Then then two coaches (Jeannette & Melinda) continued to tell me that it was the store managers policy, not the Walmart policy . Called the 1.800 number And they told me that I should have been able to return it with no problem since I did have the receipt and it was before the 30 days . I was returning unopened tire chain at the same store within 4 days of purchase. The return policy states 90 days. Return desk lady was did not want to return item, stating store policy. I asked for a store manager, one lady showed up claiming to be the head store manager, and refused the return. I asked them to show me the policy they couldn't find one. Manager said it was posted, so I asked her to show me and she couldnt find any signs. I called 1-800-walmart and they told me to go back in the store and give the manager my phone so they could talk to her. A different lady named Shyrell (dirty clothes, ungroomed, and purple hair) showed up and refused return and refused to speak to Walmart agent on phone (agent heard it on the speakerphone). One star is too many. Coach John and the management have instructed their employees to refuse open box returns purchased at a different Walmart. This is not Walmart policy. I asked a lead named Ebony about where this policy was since it's not on the receipt and not in the store. She told me it's online. When I told Coach John that Ebony told me the policy is online he got angry. I asked if he could show me or provide a link to this policy and he said it would take hours because it was a very difficult policy to find. He is a blatant liar. Corporate said it was not Walmart's policy and that it's not online or anywhere else. Corporate told them over the phone to process the return and they refused. I ended up going to a different Walmart and they processed the return without issue. What's wrong is this store does it on purpose because they don't want it to affect their "numbers". They won't follow their own policies because it lowers their score. They don't care about their customers. Stopped in for an item from the pharmacy area and a carton of milk. Went to the self checkout and the pharmacy item flagged our checkout. Had to wait for someone to come over and key in a password. Come on, for Ketosis test strips. As soon as the guy left, the register locked again. The hubby grabbed our stuff and headed to a checkout with a person. There we waited for about five minutes. Just moved to Clovis and every time I go to the Walmart on Shaw and Peach, I'm charged more than what a product is advertised at. Today I finally got a picture of the difference in price (almost $3). The employee at the self checkout was great and helped resolve the issue but how many times has this happened to folks? $3 is no small amount, this particular Walmart is as bad as the Clovis Grocery Outlet... expired products for more than the advertised price. I shouldn't have to check to see if something is expired before buying it at Walmart. It doesn't make sense that Walmart employees don't get any kind of raise but Walmart still wants to charge inflation prices when every other store has gone down in price. Lil smokies advertised as $4.98, rang up at $7+. Currently 60 egg flats are advertised by Walmart as $19.92 but the ghetto Clovis Walmart is charging $22+. Cabbage was listed at 99 cents (no per lb, just 99 cents), so the guy at the register makes fun of me for not knowing that cabbage is now more expensive than salad. "Don't you know?" I'm too poor to know what vegetables cost, cabbage has been considered poor people food my entire lifetime so I wasn't prepared to pay $5 for a head of cabbage... CLEARLY the only reason HE knows is because he works next to the produce section. The owner of this Walmart is disgusting, these tactics are intentional, and many people are just so busy trying to survive that they aren't catching it. On top of that, their underpaid employees are the ones having to deal with it. This owner just sits back and collects, does nothing for his people. When we got there to pick it up at the scheduled time nothing was ready. They claimed not to know anything about it, yet they pulled my order from the back. But not to worry it just so happed they'd made a fresh batch of chicken. They threw together our 4' sandwich. I guarantee the chicken was just reheated from the night before. After eyeballing my sister's warm fuzzy blanket and wanting one of my own, I was jealous and demanded to know its origins. Me: Where did you get that? Her: I made it. Me: Yeah, right. Just tell me where you got it. Her: I made it! I can make things! I still didn't believe her so we came here so she could prove me wrong and on Black Friday of all days and at a Wal-Mart of all places. How badly did I need to be proven wrong and do I still want this blanket? I decided I did and my need for this blanket was enough to stomach the crowd. Upon entering the parking lot, I immediately wanted to turn back. Did I somehow forget about the people that shop at Wal-Mart don't know how to drive or park or behave like pedestrians? But I wanted this blanket so I calmed myself down and found a spot near the back. Thinking everyone would be at the mall for Black Friday, we were surprised to see a crowd around dinner time. Apparently, there's a good deal on TVs and Blu-Ray players and you can get a free shirt with a pair of jeans. Everyone and their mother was here getting a TV and it was the same rude annoying crowd that I usually see at Wal-Marts - pushing and shoving their way through. We just wanted to get to the back of the store near the home goods. We finally made our way into the fabric section where my sister showed me the fabric and how she made her no sew blankets. We looked at their pile, not impressive or very large, but we both found something we liked. Unfortunately, we stood around for a bit while the lady slowly measured out some vinyl covering for a customer ahead of us. When it came to us, she started chatting with her friend and left us in the care of another lady that was equally slow at measuring out our fabric. Granted we only needed a yard and a half and she worked slower than molasses. I wanted to scream at her and do it myself but I refrained myself. We were also on a mission to hunt for a crock pot and some blu-ray dvds but my patience had already been tried at this point and I just wanted to head home and work on my blanket. read more

I actually enjoyed browsing/shopping around at this Walmart. The super knocked down prices on everything looked like a better deal than the Walmarts in the Bay (even though prices are already low). This Walmart seemed pretty stocked up on everything too, from the groceries to the kitchenware & more. The BF & I got a large, stainless steel Pot for only $7.99! Wow, super great find! Only cons I can think of is the location & some of the isles that were temporarily closed. No long lines either which was great! I even used Walmart for food buys during this time since all the grocery stores made you wait in line, I only waited in line at Walmart one time and it went fast, I am talking about a line to go in to the store not to check out, Walmart made the pandemic easier for me and I would like to give them a SHOUT OUT! I used to be a regular shopper here as it's only 1/2 mile from my home. But over the years, this store has really gotten worse and worse. They are constantly out of half the stuff I need to buy and continue to stay out of them for weeks and even months on end. Absolutely pathetic beyond belief. Also, the last time I went there in JUNE, the AC was not running and it felt like it was 90 degrees in there. Everybody was complaining about it. I went in to see about getting Walmart's cell phone coverage "Straight Talk". There was one woman working in that area that said she knew nothing at all about cell phones or networks but the girl who worked that department was on a break and would be back in 5-10 minutes. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Walked around the sauna like store looking at other things dripping wet with sweat. An entire HOUR passes and this employee STILL wasn't back from her so called break. At that point I was done. Walked out with my clothes soaking wet with sweat because these cheap asses won't run the AC. Went home to shower and change clothes and went to AT&T across the street and got some cell coverage from them at an even lower price than "Straight Talk". This store truly needs to get their act together because this has become absolutely unacceptable. read more
